"Okay." Su Ge smiled and nodded, then found a chair to sit down.
Wendy and Amy, the two sisters, imdiately began arranging the items needed for the tea party.
They placed the pastries, fresh flowers, and so fruit tea from the the room onto a table.
During this ti, a few guests who were touring upstairs noticed them and seed a bit surprised, but didn’t say much and quietly walked away.
"Alright."
The table was finally full of items. Su Ge looked around the the room, and fortunately, although the sisters brought a lot, it didn’t really disrupt the room’s layout.
"Xiao Ge, this is yours." Wendy handed out a cup of fruit tea to each of them and then started to find topics for casual conversation.
The two sisters were quite good at chatting, covering many topics that won talk about, occasionally joking and making Su Ge laugh along.
The lively atmosphere downstairs continued. After about half an hour, Su Ge finally received a ssage from Chu Yihan.
"I understand."
He must have just seen the ssage she sent earlier.
Su Ge glanced at it and put away her phone. For so reason, she picked up the fruit tea in front of her and brought it to her mouth.
Just as she was about to drink, she hesitated for a mont, first slling the ingredients inside. Finding nothing unusual, she took a small sip.
As she set down her cup, Wendy and Amy were happily chatting away.
Looking at the cheerful sisters, Su Ge glanced again at the fruit tea and pastries in front of her, and a sudden sense of guilt welled up inside.
Why be so suspicious of human nature?
What’s the point in always being so guarded?
With this thought, she picked up the fruit tea and took another sip.
"I think I saw the Chairman coming upstairs."
Just as Wendy and Amy were joyously chatting, one of them suddenly looked serious and said to the other.
"What? The Chairman is coming up?"
Wendy imdiately looked at Su Ge, "He must be here to see Xiao Ge. Look at how short a ti Xiao Ge has been up here, and the Chairman couldn’t wait to see her. It’s really enviable, this deep affection."
"Envious indeed, but since we know the Chairman is here to see Xiao Ge, let’s give them so space."
Wendy winked at Amy with a smile, glanced deliberately at Su Ge, and then got up to leave.
"Well..."
Su Ge initially wanted to stop the sisters, but they exited quickly and disappeared outside in an instant.
Su Ge shook her head helplessly, then picked up a piece of pastry from the table and took a small bite.
Just as she chewed twice without swallowing, a refined and handso figure appeared at the entrance of the the room.
Seeing the man’s cold face, Su Ge’s eyes widened, and she nearly choked, quickly setting down the half-eaten pastry and taking a big sip of fruit tea.
The man frowned upon seeing her reaction.
Was his presence that surprising?
"Yihan, why did you co up here?"
Seeing the man sit across from her without expression, Su Ge gently wiped the pastry crumbs from the corner of her mouth and asked cautiously.
This space was a thed room that won liked; was he interested too?
Actually, Amy’s design in the Estate had a clear intention.
The first floor was for n to network and conduct business, while the second floor was for won to chat and gossip.
However, most won who ca to this place were ambitious, hoping to attach themselves to a powerful figure, so the second floor still didn’t have many people even now.
