After the man turned his back, he didn’t sleep; instead, he kept staring at the direction of the window without blinking.
Through the glass of the window, one could vaguely see that the woman was always looking towards the hospital bed.

"Zhenzhen?" Su Ge’s expression changed at first but then she cald down. "What does Mr. Huo want to ask?"
She nearly forgot, Huo Jiaqi is Zhenzhen’s boyfriend.
Why would he be calling because of Huo Jialin? It’s about Zhenzhen, of course.
"I don’t know if I should ask this, and if, Xiao Ge, you think I shouldn’t, you can refuse to answer ." Huo Jiaqi seed conflicted.
"What’s unsure to ask, you’ll only know if you ask. Don’t worry, if I think the question is inappropriate, I won’t answer it."
Su Ge didn’t hold back.
If it involved Zhenzhen’s privacy, or sothing Zhenzhen was unwilling to share, and he was trying to dig up information, she naturally wouldn’t answer.
There was a mont of silence on the other end.
"Mo Xingyuan was Zhenzhen’s ex-boyfriend, right?"
Su Ge’s hand instinctively tensed while holding the phone.
From Huo Jiaqi’s tone, she couldn’t detect much doubt; it was clearly a rhetorical question.
Since it was rhetorical, what was the point of hiding it?

Su Ge answered truthfully.
During Zhenzhen and Mo Xingyuan’s relationship, Mo Xingyuan ensured all dia were barred from reporting on them, but with the Huo family’s capabilities, discovering their past relationship wasn’t difficult.
But... why was Huo Jiaqi asking about this now?
Su Ge seed to realize sothing, her eyes flashed, and her palm holding the phone was vaguely sweaty.
