Talking about it, there was no need for Chu Yihan to personally accompany such ordinary clients.
Chu Yihan glanced at Su Ge and didn’t answer her question. "Let’s plant trees together."
At that, a sweet smile spread across Su Ge’s lips. "Okay."
Under the warm sunshine, the young girl’s smile was radiant, like a spring breeze in the gradually chilling winter days.
The man stared at her for two seconds, then suddenly leaned slightly and gently kissed her on the corner of her lips.
It was a quick kiss, like a dragonfly touching the water, but Su Ge’s smile imdiately froze on her face.
Her gaze subconsciously turned to the surroundings, and sure enough, everyone was looking this way, but hurriedly turned their eyes away upon eting her gaze.
Su Ge’s face turned red with embarrassnt, and she lightly punched Chu Yihan’s chest.
Chu Yihan’s handso face remained composed as he held her small hand and they went to fetch the planting tools together.
"What kind of tree do you want to plant?"
There were many tree species brought along for the planting, each labeled with a na. After ticulous selection, Su Ge chose a ginkgo tree. "Let’s plant this one."
Chu Yihan nodded, glanced over the newly-cleared woods, found a spot, took the planting tools in one hand and the tree species in the other. Su Ge happily followed by his side, ready to plant trees together.
"Chairman, do you need our help?"
As soon as Chu Yihan set down the tools, several middle-aged n who had greeted him at the start ca over to ask.
It seems they are high-level executives from the S.J. Consortium.
"No need."
Chu Yihan, with an expressionless face, refused, then picked up a hoe and started to dig the hole himself.
Having only seen this man holding docunts and pens before, who would have thought he could wield a hoe with such dashing elegance.
"I’ll help you."
Su Ge also chose a smaller hoe and was ready to lend a hand.
"You can just sit and rest," Chu Yihan looked at her, his cool eyes tinged with indulgence.
"No, if we’re planting trees together, we should both work," Su Ge stubbornly held onto the hoe. However, having never done heavy labor before, she found even lifting the hoe difficult, let alone digging.
Chu Yihan was quite skilled; Su Ge had just dug a few strokes, but he had almost finished digging the hole.
Su Ge furrowed her eyebrows and gave him a look.
He directly put down his hoe and went to pick up the tree species.
Unconvinced, Su Ge dug a few more tis in the already loosened hole. Probably because the hole was loose, so dirt splashed onto her face. Su Ge casually wiped it with her hand, and seeing Chu Yihan bring over the tree species, she quickly set down the hoe as well.
After Chu Yihan ca over, he didn’t rush to plant the tree but stared intently at her face.
"What’s wrong?" Su Ge looked at him, puzzled, not noticing anything amiss about herself.
"Nothing." There seed to be a fleeting trace of unnoticed amusent in the man’s eyes before he bent down to start planting the tree.
Su Ge also crouched down, and the two of them planted the ginkgo tree themselves. Just as they finished planting, they heard a sound of a car.
Su Ge stood up and stomped the soil, her gaze involuntarily turning towards the vehicle.
The car stopped on a fairly wide road, and a woman clad in a black fur coat and wearing sunglasses got out, escorted by several bodyguards.
Is this person Yihan’s client?
Su Ge didn’t think much about it, because the woman’s attire was typical of middle-aged won in their thirties or forties in the country, suggesting she was not young.
Finally, after watering the ginkgo tree and sprinkling a layer of loose soil on the surface, their tree planting was truly complete.
