The servant kept silent, her gaze towards her clearly filled with surprise.
Quickly, she looked towards Wen Lixin.
Seeing that Wen Lixin seed to have no reaction, they tentatively picked up so cleaning tools on the side. After picking them up, they glanced at Wen Lixin again and, noticing that she still had no reaction, everyone seed to heave a sigh of relief and quickly began to clean the room.
In just over ten minutes, the room was swept clean.
It was not until all the servants had left that Su Ge reached out to support Wen Lixin’s hand, "Sister Lixin, the ground is cold, let’s get up and talk."
Although Wen Lixin still had a sowhat dazed expression, she obediently stood up at the prompting of Su Ge and then sat down beside the bed.
Su Ge sat down next to her, sighed softly, and said, "Sister Lixin, I know losing your child has hit you hard, but you have to look forward. You have a long life ahead of you. What you’ve lost now may be sothing indispensable in your life, but there are still so many indispensable things in your life. You’ve already lost one thing; you can’t keep losing more. So you must pull yourself together."
Listening to Su Ge’s words, Wen Lixin’s eyelashes fluttered gently.
Su Ge continued, "The way you are now only brings pain to your loved ones and joy to your enemies. Sister Lixin, it hurts too much to see you like this."
While talking, Su Ge raised her hand to wipe the dry corners of her eyes.
Finally, so expression appeared on Wen Lixin’s emotionless face, and she slowly turned her gaze towards Su Ge.
Su Ge looked at her earnestly, "Sister Lixin, promise to be stronger, okay? We’ve both lost loved ones, and we both need to pull ourselves together."
"Xiao Ge..." Wen Lixin finally spoke, but her voice was choked.
Su Ge reached out and hugged her into her arms, "Sister Lixin, you still have . No matter what, I’ll always be with you."
"My child..." Wen Lixin seed still inconsolable, and she began to cry in Su Ge’s embrace.
The large tears fell on Su Ge’s shoulder, and even Su Ge was sowhat taken aback.
A person can feign many things, but tears shed in sorrow are not sothing one can fake.
Wen Lixin giving birth to a stillborn was truly an accident, an unforeseen tragedy that Wen Lixin had never imagined.
Su Ge thought she was soone who could be absolutely cold-hearted towards her enemies, but now that Wen Lixin was crying in her arms, a touch of compassion rose from the depths of her heart.
After all, a child is innocent.
"Sister Lixin, don’t be sad."
Su Ge gently patted Wen Lixin’s back; the only consolation she offered was sincere.
Wen Lixin was obedient and stopped crying imdiately.
She let go of her embrace on Su Ge, raised her hand to dry her tears.
Su Ge watched her intently, and after Wen Lixin dried her tears, she looked at Su Ge and fell silent for a few seconds.
When she spoke again, Su Ge was sowhat surprised.
"Xiao Ge, what you said earlier, is it true?"
Su Ge clearly understood what Wen Lixin ant. The words she referred to were what Su Ge had whispered in her ear when she entered the room.
"Of course, it’s true."
Su Ge nodded very affirmatively.
A faint smile appeared on Wen Lixin’s face, "Did Chu Yihan nod her approval?"
"If she hadn’t nodded, why would I co all the way to tell Sister Lixin the good news?"
Su Ge also curved her lips slightly.
"How did you convince him?" Wen Lixin was even sowhat exultant; the good news had co so quickly.
