The study room quieted down once again.
Then Su Ge heard heavy footsteps.
Subconsciously, she stepped aside, and shortly after, the door to the study was opened.
Shen Junhao walked out with heavy steps, his face pale.
Su Ge watched him unblinkingly from the side. Shen Junhao evidently noticed her too, but he didn’t greet her and headed straight downstairs.
Su Ge kept her eyes on Shen Junhao as he left the main house, the light in her bright eyes flickering.
"How long do you plan on standing outside?"
Suddenly, a voice full of magnetism ca from inside the study.
Su Ge’s small body stiffened, her face changed, and she gently pushed open the study door, walking in with so embarrassnt.
When did Chu Yihan notice she was outside?
The noble and aloof man was currently bent over reading a docunt, his deanor very serious.
Not daring to disturb him, Su Ge’s gaze, however, fell on the docunt that Chu Yihan had just thrown at Shen Junhao.
She glanced at the man who hadn’t noticed her, stepped lightly across the floor, picked up the docunt, thought for a mont, then directly opened it to read the contents.
The mont she flipped open the docunt, a look of surprise crossed her face, but it quickly settled back into calm as she finished reading the contents.
After reading, she calmly brought the docunt back to the man’s desk and gently placed it down.
Shen Zhiyue’s car accident—he indeed had figured out everything a long ti ago.
He had known all along that she was frad and set up by Shen Zhiyue.
Although he had protected her early on, he did not bring up Shen Zhiyue’s intentional framing and causing of the accident to the police.
Shen Zhiyue, as the mastermind, didn’t even suffer any investigation in this matter.
His feelings towards Shen Zhiyue were indeed special.
Seeing that the man was still focused on the docunt and didn’t say a word, Su Ge quietly turned to leave.
"Stop."
Just as she took no more than a few steps, the man behind her suddenly called her to a halt.
Su Ge stopped in her tracks but didn’t turn around, "Chairman Chu, is there sothing else?"
"Chairman Chu?" The man frowned slightly upon hearing this title.
He then tossed aside the pen in his hand, rose from his seat, and slowly walked towards the straight-standing little woman.
A pair of strong arms reached out from behind and embraced the little woman’s slender waist.
Her head was instantly weighed down as the man rested his chin on top of it, "Why do you want to leave as soon as you co in?"
His low voice, sexy and full of magnetism, carried a slight hint of complaint.
The little woman, however, remained expressionless, reaching out to pry off the man’s tight grip in front of her. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to loosen his hands, she furrowed her brows, "I didn’t want to disturb your work."
As the little woman struggled, those arms around her waist tightened even more. Sensing sothing was clearly wrong, Chu Yihan’s handso face sank slightly, his voice cooling with it, "What’s wrong?"
"Heh." Unexpectedly, the little woman suddenly let out a cold laugh, not struggling anymore, and directly asked in place, "Chu Yihan, what exactly am I to you?"
The man behind her body visibly tensed.
Then those strong arms that had been holding her loosened, and the man wrapped his arms around the little woman’s shoulders, turning her body around to face him, his phoenix eyes staring intently at her, "What did you say?"
In his eyes lay puzzlent, astonishnt, and mostly confusion.
Didn’t she know already what she ant to him?
