Su Ge walked out of the side house feeling a bit downhearted.
Doctor Wei watched her retreating figure, his aged face deep and complex.

Su Ge walked back to the main house and was just about to go upstairs when her gaze suddenly glanced towards the sofa.
She caught sight of a pair of deep, phoenix eyes.
She paused for a mont, then quickly walked towards Chu Yihan, "Yihan, weren’t you dealing with official matters? Why did you co down?"
"What are you thinking about?" Chu Yihan asked, eyeing her obviously unusual expression, as if deep in thought.

"Nothing much." Su Ge sat next to him and gave a sowhat perfunctory smile.
"Where have you been so late?"
The man’s gaze was fixed on her.
Su Ge knew she couldn’t hide her movents from him, and imdiately pulled out a bottle of contraceptive pills from her pocket, leaning her head on his shoulder, "The dicine ran out, I went to the side house to get another box."
The man’s handso face stiffened noticeably.
Then he embraced the little woman, his voice low with a hint of heartache, "You’ve been wronged."
Su Ge put away the dicine and turned to smile at him, "It’s nothing to feel wronged about, this is the best contraceptive in the world, it has no side effects."
But the man couldn’t really smile, his gaze toward her filled only with pity, and after a long silence, he finally spoke, "It’s ti to rest."

Su Ge got up from his embrace, smiling.
Chu Yihan said nothing, and the little woman turned and headed straight upstairs.
But just a few steps out, she suddenly felt light and was promptly scooped up at the waist.
A handso face appeared before her eyes, Su Ge looking closely at his face, all the unhappiness seed to vanish in a mont.
Even though this man was hot and cold towards her, as long as she could always be with him, she felt completely content.
Su Ge reached out her small hand to embrace the man’s neck, her head leaning on him, letting him carry her up the stairs step by step.
The man took her all the way back to her room, laid her on the bed, then tucked her in carefully.
During this ti Su Ge’s gaze lingered lovingly on him.
Thinking that the man would leave after tucking her in, she was surprised when he naturally sat beside her bed, his eyes tenderly watching her.
Su Ge was also watching him, and after about a minute, Su Ge spoke first, "Yihan, have you finished your official duties?"
"Not yet." The man answered quickly, then added, "I’ll stay with you for a while, and after you’ve fallen asleep, I’ll go deal with them."
Su Ge was nearly overwheld with joy, the corners of her mouth lifting almost uncontrollably.
She discreetly extended a hand from under the blanket, and seeing this, the man imdiately took her small hand into his palm.
Su Ge’s smile grew even wider, then she closed her eyes and began to settle into sleep.
The man truly stayed by her side the entire ti, and it took Su Ge a long ti to fall asleep, her hand held by him throughout.
She didn’t know when she fell asleep, nor when the man left, but when she woke up, the hand that was exposed was now back under the blanket, still seemingly retaining the warmth of the man.
Perhaps won are really easily satisfied; Su Ge felt like all the grievances of the past few days had disappeared.
She got up filled with energy, and even though she was the only one at the breakfast table, she was still smiling.
But halfway through her breakfast, the phone on the table suddenly rang.
She glanced at it and the smile disappeared from her face.
