"This place is quite far from the airport, we should head there early to check in."
The man’s voice was calm as always.
Su Ge closed her eyes in an instant, tears silently falling, "I understand."
But this was just an excuse he found.
At most, the airport was just a twenty-minute drive away.
With Assistant Ling handling the check-in, it wouldn’t take much ti at all.
He just didn’t want to stay with her anymore.
She didn’t expose him, instead, she quietly wiped her tears and gently pushed him, "Then... you better hurry to the airport, don’t miss your flight."
The man did not let go of her imdiately, but instead held her tighter.
Su Ge stopped talking, letting the man embrace her, her body stiff as though it were a piece of wood.
The man’s hot hand was on her bare back, lightly rubbing twice, then irresistibly sliding downward.
As soon as it reached her waist, it was as if he was scalded, he abruptly withdrew his hand.
Then he let go of the ’little woman’, "I’m leaving."
"Mhm." Su Ge forced a smile calmly, "Be careful on your way."
The man did not say much more, bent down to give her a gentle kiss on her forehead, then stood up and left.
Su Ge watched him leave the room until the door closed and the room fell silent again, everything just now seed like a dream.
She hoped it was all just a dream.
Su Ge laid down, closed her eyes, and the tears flowed from the corners of her eyes all the way to the pillow.
Outside the door, the distinguished and aloof man covered his chest with one hand, standing quietly in front of the door for a full hour.
Su Ge did not know how she fell asleep the night before.
The first thing upon waking was to run to the mirror.
Fortunately, her eyes were not swollen.
After hastily washing up and changing into her usual clothes, she walked out the door.
Outside the door, a man dressed in black stood quietly. Su Ge was startled the mont she stepped out.
"Professor," Su Ge’s gaze once again unconsciously landed on the dark pattern on Ye Mubai’s black shirt, is that the unique emblem of the Ye Family?
"Did you sleep well?" Ye Mubai was much taller, and Su Ge felt like the voice ca from above, she instinctively looked up, then a sweet smile spread across her lips, "Pretty well, how about you, Professor?"
Ye Mubai did not respond directly.
After a few seconds of silence, "You had a rough night last night."
"What?" Su Ge was a bit confused.
"Helping back to the hotel."
"Oh, that." Su Ge smiled again, "We are staying at the sa hotel; it was on my way back anyway, how can I say I helped the Professor?"
Even if she did not escort him, she still had to go back.
And after the Professor left, there were no other acquaintances left at the banquet for her, so staying was aningless.
Furthermore, Princess Liya seed quite interested in the Professor who seed to have no interest in her, so she wanted to help the Professor out.
After all, the Professor had helped her out a lot before.
"Shall we have breakfast together?"
Ye Mubai asked again.
"Yeah, let’s go together."
Ye Mubai walked ahead, and Su Ge followed thoughtfully.
The Professor still rembered the incident of her and Princess Liya competing to send him back to the hotel.
Everything that happened afterwards, he probably didn’t rember, right?
Whether it was in the car or back at the hotel, he seed quite out of it.
In the end, he even went into the bathroom in front of her and started throwing up.
He must have blacked out from the alcohol.
Su Ge sowhat relievedly let out a sigh of relief.
It’s for the best if he doesn’t rember.
