She put down the red fruit she was holding and asked, "When did Princess Lea hear that I could dance?"
She is a dical student; aside from a few dance performances during middle and high school events, she never really learned to dance.
Comparing dance skills with soone like Lea, who obviously has trained in dance since childhood, wouldn’t that be humiliating?
"I’ve heard that there are many types of dances in Z Country, unlike in Bafei Country where there isn’t much novelty. Lady Su Ge might not be a dancer, but she should know a move or two, right? Why not give us a performance and enlighten those of us who haven’t seen much?"
Princess Lea’s voice was not very loud; amidst the music, only Su Ge could hear her.
Seeing that Su Ge did not respond imdiately, Lea provocatively added, "Lady Su Ge, are you scared? With so many types of dances in Z Country, are they all just for show? You don’t even have the courage to compete with ; I might start looking down on the people of Z Country."
"Hah." Su Ge chuckled coldly upon hearing this, "Princess Lea must be aware that I am a dical student. If Princess Lea insists on competing in a dance with , to be fair, I’d also like to test your knowledge of Western dicine. I’ll agree to a dance, but after that, I will pose three dical questions to Princess Lea, not too difficult. I wonder if Princess Lea dares to answer them?"
"You... I’ve never studied dicine, how could I possibly know the answers!" Princess Lea’s face changed instantly.
"Well, I never learned how to dance, so why does Princess Lea insist on challenging to a dance?"
Princess Lea was suddenly at a loss for words.
She stomped her foot in anger and went back to her seat.
Just as Princess Lea sat down, a maid ca over with a pot of tea.
"Lady Su Ge, this is the tea Prince Lyan ordered us to prepare for you."
The maid respectfully placed the tea on Su Ge’s table, then gracefully retreated.
Su Ge was montarily stunned.
When did she say she needed tea?
Su Ge looked up at Prince Ryan across from her, who smiled at her sheepishly and then lowered his head.
Su Ge suddenly rembered the incident when she choked on a pastry.
So, Prince Ryan saw it?
Feeling sowhat embarrassed, she imdiately picked up a cup, poured herself so tea, and gulped it down.
After eating so many sweets and pastries, she really was thirsty.
It seems these people of Bafei Country treat wine like water.
Su Ge then thought of Ye Mubai and quietly called out to him, "Professor."
"Hmm?" Ye Mubai imdiately looked over.
Su Ge pointed to the teapot on her table, "Professor, would you like so tea?"
Ye Mubai looked at it, didn’t say anything but deeply gazed at Su Ge across Prince Ryan, then shook his head.
"Mr. Ye." Just as Su Ge was asking, a Bafei Country minister ca up with a wine glass, stood very politely in front of Ye Mubai, and raised his glass, "Thanks to Mr. Ye for assisting with the plague in Bafei Country, I’d like to toast to Mr. Ye."
"Thank you," Ye Mubai lifted his glass from the table and drained it.
The minister naturally did the sa.
A maid specifically assigned to pour wine followed the minister. Su Ge had a vague premonition of sothing not quite right.
