The man put down his chopsticks, earnestly explaining to the little woman.

Not being a well-read person, Su Ge specifically went to take out two philosophy books from the man’s study that he liked to read, to peruse in the bedroom, not knowing when she would fall asleep, only aware that not long after drifting off, she vaguely felt the man coming through the door.
Since the bedroom lights weren’t on, she could only rely on the faint moonlight to see the man’s figure approaching the bedside, step by step.
"Yihan..." Her voice was soft and groggy with sleep.
"Mhm." The man responded lightly as he stood by the bed, and then he began to strip.
Subconsciously, Su Ge gripped the blanket tightly.
The man quickly got into the bed, flipping open the blanket and snuggling in, and imdiately wrapped his arms around the little woman’s body.
Su Ge was still startled enough to draw a sharp breath, but after a few minutes without any movent from the man, her heart gradually cald down.
Quietly leaning in the man’s embrace, sleepiness quickly returned, "Yihan, I’m so sleepy, can we discuss life philosophy tomorrow instead?"
Her mind was muddled with sleep, forgetting everything she had read before bed.
Even if she had not forgotten, she had no energy to discuss it with him.
