“Brother Lixuan.”
Slowly loosening the fist in her hand, Su Ge almost gagged, gently calling out.
She needed to keep her cool.
Minor impatience could spoil great plans.

She would skip dinner tonight!
“Xiao Ge, it’s been two years, you’ve changed so much I almost couldn’t recognize you,” Wen Lixuan said, his hand instinctively raising to touch the hair near Su Ge’s ear.
It was his usual gesture, always so refreshingly sleazy.
Su Ge instinctively stepped back to avoid it, only then realizing she had narrowly escaped.
An extrely cold gaze had been watching this place unknowingly, and the entire hall was filled with a bone-chilling coldness.
The man sitting under the light had a clean, vanished smile on his face, his lips tightly pursed, his handso face so tense it seed like it could split at any mont.
The porcelain-white hand holding the wine glass, now clearly showing whitened knuckles.
Yet, the glass hadn’t shattered.
The quality was absolutely top-notch!
This was not the place to catch up with Wen Lixuan.
“Brother Lixuan, I have sothing else to attend to, please excuse .”
Su Ge hurriedly left after dropping that line, heading towards the table where Chu Yihan was.
Wen Lixuan stood in place, staring blankly as Su Ge left.
A feeling of inexplicable loss rose from the bottom of his heart.
What was going on?
Watching Su Ge sit next to Chu Yihan, a mysterious and deep light flashed through Wen Lixuan’s eyes.
“I’m sorry for being late.”
Feeling the coldness of the man next to her like icy stone, Su Ge didn’t dare to look at him, awkwardly greeting the others.
Mo Xingyuan was famously cold; he silently drank his wine, not even glancing at Su Ge.
Lin Shaoyang had been keenly watching Su Ge with a vague smile as she walked over.
Shen Zhiyue first looked at Chu Yihan, seeing he didn’t reject Su Ge sitting next to him, she then understood sothing and lifted her wine glass, “Miss Su, I’m Shen Zhiyue.”
“Ms.
Shen, I’ve heard a lot about you.”
The servant had already poured wine for Su Ge, who raised her glass towards Shen Zhiyue.
Shen Zhiyue downed her drink in one go.
Originally only intending to take a sip, Su Ge saw Shen Zhiyue finish hers and felt she couldn’t just put the glass down, so she steeled herself and drank the whole glass.
Shen Zhiyue looked at her thoughtfully, as if finding her different from the rumors.
“Miss Su, you have a good tolerance for alcohol.”
Lin Shaoyang suddenly spoke, raising the wine glass before him, “I am Lin Shaoyang, pleased to et you.”
Not again?
Although Su Ge could hold her liquor, she hadn’t eaten tonight, and too much alcohol would certainly upset her stomach.
But it was their first eting, and with Lin Shaoyang offering her a toast, she couldn’t refuse without giving face.
Su Ge picked up the freshly poured wine, “Mr.
Lin, pleased to et you.”
Lin Shaoyang’s smile deepened as he finished his glass in one gulp.
Su Ge’s eyes widened; this man was deliberately making it hard for her, wasn’t he?
Su Ge glanced sideways at Chu Yihan next to her, only to see him sitting indifferently, his aura not as cold as before but clearly uninterested in any of this.
Su Ge knew Chu Yihan could handle his liquor well.
Tilting her head back, she downed an entire glass of red wine.
A faint sense of nausea began to stir in her stomach, but she suppressed the discomfort and gently set down the glass.
“Xingyuan, it’s your turn now.”
Lin Shaoyang nudged Mo Xingyuan with his elbow.
Su Ge blinked in shock.
