The next morning, before dawn.

Su Ge was the first to co downstairs from the upper floor, clattering down the staircase, and then quickly running alone to the dining room for breakfast.

Despite having dicated them, her eyes were still a bit swollen from crying. The housemaid watched her leave with so astonishnt and then subconsciously looked up towards the upper floor.

Isn’t the Fourth Master still upstairs?

Why has the Lady co down alone?

While puzzled, the bedroom door opened again and a man dressed in casual clothes with a handso and cold complexion followed anxiously and quickly descended the stairs.

After coming downstairs, he first glanced at the couch, didn’t see anyone, then turned to the housemaid, "Where is the Lady?"

"The Lady went to the dining room," the housemaid answered honestly, head bowed.

Chu Yihan stepped towards the dining room, but just as he moved out one step, suddenly a wrenching pain struck his chest.

He instinctively clutched at his chest, glanced towards the direction of the dining room, hesitated for a mont, then turned and left the hall towards the direction of the side house.

Su Ge had breakfast alone at the dining table.

Nearly finished, the man finally arrived belatedly.

She imdiately put down her utensils; at that mont, the man took a seat opposite her, his deep-set eyes looking at her as he started to speak, "You..."

The man had only uttered one word when the little woman stood up, head turned away, and left the dining room without looking back.

The man helplessly watched her leave, and did not chase after her.

The housemaid serving the dining room watched this scene and exchanged bewildered glances.

What’s wrong between the Lady and the Fourth Master?

The Fourth Master had just returned from a business trip; why are they at odds with each other?

After leaving the dining room, Su Ge didn’t go anywhere else but went straight to the side house to find Doctor Wei.

Doctor Wei was clearly startled to see her so early in the morning.

"Lady, why have you co?"

"Have you given the dicine to the Fourth Master?" Although she still blad that man in her heart, she was nonetheless constantly concerned about this matter.

"I have, the Fourth Master just ca by, and according to the prescription you, Lady, provided, I compounded and administered the dicine to him," Doctor Wei reported truthfully.

"He just ca by?" A flash of surprise crossed Su Ge’s eyes, "Are you saying the Fourth Master ca here voluntarily to get the dicine?"

"Yes, the Fourth Master seed to be in a not-so-good condition just now, but after taking the dicine, he has improved a lot."

Upon hearing this, Su Ge’s brows slightly furrowed.

What’s going on, did he have an attack again?

"Are you sure that the Fourth Master has improved a lot after taking the dicine?" Su Ge was obviously not entirely at ease.

"Of course, Lady, the prescription you brought back is truly effective. After the Fourth Master took it just now, his complexion visibly improved, and I also conducted so basic physical examinations on him; he really doesn’t have any problem."

Su Ge finally felt sowhat relieved, "That’s good, rember to send the dicine to the Fourth Master regularly and remind him to take it on ti."

"Yes, Lady, please rest assured."

Su Ge nodded her head and prepared to leave.

Just as she was about to turn around, she suddenly thought of sothing, turned her head back, "Doctor Wei, don’t tell the Fourth Master I was here."

"Uh..." A flicker of confusion crossed Doctor Wei’s eyes, "Why? Lady, you are wholeheartedly devoted to the Fourth Master; why can’t you let him know?"

"I will tell him when the ti cos for him to know. In any case, just don’t blab about it."

Su Ge was clearly in a poor mood; having said her piece, she left the side house.

She had cried hard the night before, and her eyes had remained swollen. She had planned to go to school today, but she had to ask Xu Yang to take leave at the last minute.

After leaving the side house, she went directly to the original Lotus Pond.
