Despite Mo Xingyuan’s piercing gaze, Su Ge remained composed and casually sipped her tea, "What tricks could I possibly play? The real trickster is soone President Mo could never dream of."
"What do you an?"
Mo Xingyuan’s cold eyes instantly darkened, bottomless.
"Do you know why Zhenzhen hates you, blas you, and sees you as an enemy? Do you know the reason for her hatred and bla?"
Su Ge was sowhat curious to hear Mo Xingyuan’s response.
A misunderstanding between two people is never caused by just one.
"She fails to distinguish right from wrong. What other reason is needed?" Mo Xingyuan’s face was stern.
"Zhenzhen fails to distinguish right from wrong?" Su Ge pondered, "Is it because Zhenzhen firmly believes her parents were innocent and frad for embezzlent and bribery, so you think she can’t see right from wrong?"
"Or perhaps, Zhenzhen wants to clear her parents of their false charges, even if it ans opposing you and Shen Zhiyue, so you think she can’t see right from wrong?"
"Su Ge, what exactly are you trying to say?" Mo Xingyuan looked at Su Ge with a chilling gaze, "The evidence of Mu Zhenzhen’s parents’ corruption and bribery is irrefutable. Are you really trying to argue their case?"
"President Mo really overestimates . Zhenzhen has been unable to argue her case for five years against President Mo; how could I possibly argue in front of you?" Su Ge chuckled and took another sip of her tea.
Mo Xingyuan’s dark eyes fixed on her intently.
"I think I understand what President Mo is thinking. In your heart, there is not a shred of injustice for Zhenzhen’s parents, and Zhenzhen should accept this result. Only by accepting it would she be a person of great understanding.
However, Zhenzhen has never been willing to accept this outco from the beginning to the end. She has always believed her parents were wronged and has tried to vindicate them in any way possible.
To you, she had no benefit in touching a case whose verdict had already been decided, so you continuously obstructed her from interfering with the case, from seeking justice for her parents. This is what caused the conflict between the two of you.
So, you must feel that Zhenzhen’s hatred and bla towards you are solely due to the disagreent over this case. And since you believe you are in the right, the one who can’t distinguish right from wrong must be Zhenzhen. Hence, since she fails to see reason, her hatred and bla towards you are also unjustified, and President Mo must have always felt, from the beginning to the end, that you have never been wrong, and it has always been Zhenzhen’s fault alone, right?"
Su Ge put down her teacup and looked unwaveringly at Mo Xingyuan.
Mo Xingyuan t her gaze without a change in expression, "Your feigned ignorance serves no purpose."
Hearing this response, Su Ge didn’t know whether to smile wryly or to sigh. After a mont of thought, she said, "The case of Zhenzhen’s parents was handled by Shen Zhiyue back in the day. Over the years, Zhenzhen not only resented President Mo but also Shen Zhiyue. In President Mo’s eyes, her resentnt towards Shen Zhiyue must also be without reason, right? After all, her parents deserved their punishnt, and Shen Zhiyue was just doing her job without any wrongdoing."
"Did you ask to et just to talk about such boring matters?"
Mo Xingyuan didn’t want to hear any more of it.
Su Ge smiled and shook her head, "No, I just wanted to make the whole situation clearer, so I am sorting through the details. After all, it’s been five years, and it’s easy to blur a lot of things when bringing it up again."
"I’ve basically sorted it out now."
