Unexpectedly, the hallway outside was empty, not a single person in sight.

The study’s lights were also off.

Su Ge instinctively looked down the hall towards Chu Yihan’s room - had he already gone to sleep?

Why had he gone to bed so early today?

Dejectedly lowering her head, Su Ge could only turn back towards her room.

She had only taken a couple of steps before stopping again.

After a brief thought, she headed straight for the end of the hallway.

Knock knock——

Knock knock knock——

It took several knocks before the door finally opened.

A man in pajamas, exuding elegance and good looks, suddenly appeared in front of her.

Their eyes t, "Yi..."

Su Ge had barely begun to speak when she was suddenly swept up in his arms and carried inside.

On the following day, Su Ge woke up first.

"Yihan..." Looking at the clear bite mark on the man’s shoulder from which blood had seeped out, Su Ge was startled and fully awake.

How did he get hurt so badly?

Was it she who had done it?

"Mm." The man was still asleep, responding to her in a drowsy voice.

Without saying anything more, Su Ge got out of bed, looking around the room for a first aid kit.

She quickly found two tubes of ointnt and kneeled on the bed, carefully applying dicine to the man’s wounds.

To avoid scarring on the man’s shoulder, the dicine Su Ge applied was slightly painful.

The man probably woke up from the pain, his brow furrowing slightly at the woman’s actions.

"What are you doing?"

"You’re hurt, I’m applying dicine for you."

Su Ge responded naturally.

Only then did the man glance over to his shoulder indifferently.

"Su Xiaoge, do you eat people?"

His question caught her off guard, causing Su Ge’s hand to tremble as she applied the ointnt.

"Eat... eat people? I’m not a monster, why would I eat people?"

Though she said this, Su Ge couldn’t help feeling guilty.

Looking at the wound on his shoulder, it seed she really was like a people-eating monster.

If she had used a bit more force, she might have bitten off the flesh from his shoulder.

But she couldn’t be blad.

It was he who had been too impatient, not being gentle or light...

It was a purely natural reaction, she had only bitten him because she was in such pain.

In the end, she still hadn’t bitten the flesh from his shoulder.

If she really had, that would have confird the accusation of being a people-eater.

She definitely must be more careful in the future.

She couldn’t let him get hurt again.

"You are a people-eating monster."

The man chuckled lightly all of a sudden.

Su Ge felt so angered that she put the ointnt down and got off the bed.

"It’s you who’s the people-eating monster, it was clearly you who ate . How did it beco eating you?" Su Ge muttered under her breath, putting away the first aid kit before walking back towards him, "Aren’t you just playing innocent after taking advantage?"

She had simply wanted to co over and check on him last night.

Yet, without saying a word, he just...

She hadn’t even had the chance to react.

And now upon waking up, he actually had the nerve to complain first.

She had co over fully covered up, with no intention of tempting him.

This ti, the man did not speak, his deep phoenix eyes slightly flickering with complexity.

"It’s getting late, I need to go to school. Yihan, you seem very tired, maybe you should sleep a bit longer?" the little woman said, sparsely beginning to get dressed.

"Mm." The man answered succinctly this ti, lying down calmly in bed, watching the woman get up and get dressed.

Su Ge didn’t think much of it, dressed in her pajamas, and left the man’s room to go back to hers to wash up.

As soon as she left, the man suddenly furrowed his brows tightly.

One hand clutching his chest, the other swiftly pulled open the drawer of the bedside table, and took out several boxes of dication.
