Mu Zhenzhen hesitated slightly as she listened to the noise on his end.
Was he with a lot of people?
Huo Jiaqi’s voice took a few seconds of silence before it sounded, "Night Color Bar, room 602. Co over now."
After speaking, he hung up the phone directly.
Mu Zhenzhen stared blankly at her phone.
Night Color Bar?
Isn’t that the most infamous bar in Rong City?
Why would he go there?
Glancing at the gift she’d already prepared for Huo Jiaqi, Mu Zhenzhen thought for a mont and decided to get up and get ready.
The weather at late winter wasn’t particularly severe, but the temperature still dropped to a few degrees at night.
Mu Zhenzhen wore a long black coat, with a long black turtleneck sweater dress underneath, wrapping herself up tightly as she appeared at the entrance of the Night Color Bar. She seed out of place in the dazzling and colorful atmosphere.
She held an exquisite woven bag in her hand, her fingers involuntarily clenched tightly, watching all kinds of people flowing in and out of the bar. Eventually, she forced herself to go in.
Despite her elegant and outstanding appearance, her all-black, tightly-wrapped outfit made her particularly inconspicuous in such a flamboyant place.
She found soone to ask about the location of the room and quickly arrived at the door of room 602.
The soundproofing wasn’t very good; inside, it sounded lively.
It sounded like there were both n and won, and the heavy scent of alcohol wafted out, slightly stinging her nose even through the door.
Mu Zhenzhen furrowed her brows slightly, and after a while, she gathered the courage to raise her hand and knock on the door.
It took a few knocks before soone ca to open the door, and it was a fresh-faced, unfamiliar man.
"Who are you?" Seeing the person dressed in all black outside the door, the man looked sowhat impatient. Yet, upon clearly seeing Mu Zhenzhen’s face, the man was visibly stunned for a few seconds, his expression softening completely, "... Who are you looking for?"
"Excuse , is Huo Jiaqi here?"
Mu Zhenzhen asked politely.
"You’re here to find Jiaqi?" The man then seriously assessed her again, finding her increasingly familiar, before suddenly realizing, "Are you Jiaqi’s fiancée?"
"Yes."
Mu Zhenzhen nodded lightly, sowhat embarrassed.
The man seed to hesitate for a few seconds while looking at her, "Jiaqi is inside. Co on in."
After speaking, he turned and walked inside. Mu Zhenzhen followed him in.
Inside, the lighting was a bit dim, with roughly a dozen n and won.
The man who opened the door walked directly over to a man on the sofa, who was surrounded by two beautiful won, and softly reminded him, "Jiaqi, stop playing. Your fiancée has co to find you."
Mu Zhenzhen’s eyes widened in surprise as she saw Huo Jiaqi.
He was wearing a white shirt, with only one or two buttons askew, and the forrly pristine shirt was covered in lipstick marks.
Mu Zhenzhen couldn’t quite tell what she was feeling as she looked at the two heavily made-up won in ultra-short skirts nestled in Huo Jiaqi’s arms, her expression sowhat dazed.
"Fiancée?" Huo Jiaqi reacted with so surprise, as if he’d forgotten he even had a fiancée.
He looked up to see Mu Zhenzhen staring at him fixedly, and he seed to finally realize, "Oh, it’s you. Is there sothing you need?"
He lightly waved his hand at the two won snuggled beside him, and they tactfully left.
One of them intentionally kissed him on the cheek as she left, then provocatively glanced at Mu Zhenzhen.
Mu Zhenzhen’s grip on the woven bag involuntarily tightened again, nearly wringing it into her palm.
"I rember you handle your liquor well. Want a drink?" Seeing that Mu Zhenzhen wasn’t speaking for a long ti, Huo Jiaqi simply picked up a bottle of wine from the table and gestured towards her.
