Chapter 237: Chapter 238 was my active initiation 6
Grandmother and Huo Shaohua, together with Song Yi and her mother, returned to the Huo family ho.
Father Song had not returned yet from his outing and was unaware of what Song Yi and her mother had done.
The huge living room was filled with a tense atmosphere, with Grandmother sitting in the central position.
Huo Shaohua sat on the left, while Song Yi and her mother sat on the right.
The mother and daughter were extrely anxious, not knowing how Grandmother would handle this matter.
"Shaohua, how do you plan to deal with this? You can’t let Xingyun and the child suffer grievances for nothing!" Grandmother looked at Huo Shaohua and said, not even wanting to glance at Song Yi and her mother, disgust clear in her eyes.
Huo Shaohua raised his eyes to look at Song Yi; her face was deathly pale, makeup completely ruined.
This issue originated from his mistake; if he and Tian Xingyun hadn’t had a child.
Song Yi wouldn’t have done sothing so crazy.
"The woman suffered grievances? What about our Yi?" Song Yi’s mother stood up defiantly, questioning Grandmother.
That old woman was obviously biased towards that woman, just because she was pregnant.
"You almost beat them to death; isn’t that enough to relieve your anger? Or do you want
to call the police for a fair handling of this matter?" Grandmother stood up, walked over to Song Yi’s mother, and confronted her with a threatening tone.
"Fine, call the police! Let’s see who loses more! Worst case, we’ll all go down together!" Song Yi’s mother went all out, daring the old woman to really call the police.
Blowing this matter up would have no benefit for the Huo family!
"Housekeeper Liu, call the police!" Grandmother shouted.
"Grandmother, you can’t call the police!" Song Yi stood up and rushed to Grandmother’s side, pulling her arm to stop her.
If this matter were exposed, she would beco a laughingstock.
How could she ever do anything outside after this?
She didn’t want to be ridiculed, and she didn’t want Shaohua to be hurt because of this matter either.
Seeing that he had no real feelings for that woman gave her peace of mind.
"What are you afraid of? It was Huo Shaohua who wronged you, having a bastard child with a mistress! Expose it and let everyone see how the Huo family bullies you." Song Yi’s mother glared viciously at her daughter; at this point, she feared nothing from the old woman.
Grandmother raised her hand and slapped Song Yi’s mother hard in the face: "Smack~"
The sound was loud, echoing in the living room.
"Let this slap teach you a lesson; this is the Huo family, and you are not allowed to talk nonsense here!"
"How dare you hit !" Song Yi’s mother, enraged, raised her hand, ready to hit Grandmother back.
Grandmother showed no fear, standing still, waiting for her hand to co down.
Huo Shaohua strode over, grabbed Song Yi’s mother’s hand, and forcefully flung her away.
Unable to keep her balance, Song Yi’s mother fell to the ground, biting her lips in pain.
Seeing Shaohua treat her mother like that, Song Yi imdiately scread at him: "Huo Shaohua, how can you treat my mom like this!"
She could endure grievances herself, but she couldn’t let her mother suffer such humiliation.
"She just tried to hit my grandmother, what’s wrong with
protecting her?" Huo Shaohua replied coldly.
"Grandmother hit my mother first, didn’t you see it?"
"This is the Huo family ho; your mother and you have no right to shout here!" Grandmother sternly scolded.
Song Yi’s mother climbed up, laughing harshly like a shrew: "The mighty Huo family bullies people, lets the Huo family president fool around outside, betray his girlfriend, and let the mistress hit people! Such news should be quite valuable!"
"Mom, stop talking nonsense!" Song Yi fearfully grabbed her mother’s arm; letting this matter escalate would benefit no one.
The wounds on her face weren’t caused by that woman but by her own mother’s scratches...
All to make Shaohua pity her and bla everything on that woman.
Unexpectedly, that woman admitted it; what was her true intention?
