By twelve noon, the dishes were finally all prepared.
Tian Xingyun sat on a stool in the courtyard, resting, just waiting for her parents to co ho for lunch.
Huo Shaohua stood coolly by her side, handing a cup of water to her: "Drink so water, don’t let my child get thirsty."

Just after Hua Fugui left, Tian Xingyun’s phone rang.
Mom Tian called to say they hadn’t finished their work in the field.
They wouldn’t co ho for lunch, and asked Xingyun to send so food to them in the fields.
