Capítulo 1835: Chapter 1834: Troubles at Seventeen
Iluna said these words in one breath, very satisfied with the solution she ca up with. She only had three opportunities, although she was eager to understand what was happening with the lost ti of the Sixth Era and why Shard only existed in the “present”. But since the opportunities were limited, she could only grasp the most crucial question, leaving the remaining issues for Shard and Luviya to resolve.
[You asked the Lake Goddess your doubts, and the Angel remained silent for a long ti.]
[The Angel remained silent for a long ti.]
[The Angel remained silent for a long ti.]
…
The voice of “If” and the golden light trace before her both repeated the sa sentence. Feeling bored, Iluna slightly turned her head to look at the street scene. The night was getting deeper, and the people who had just left the train station gradually disappeared into the city, while only a few carriage drivers continued waiting for custors, chatting with one another nearby.
The night wind blew up the flyers on the ground, and Iluna’s dynamic eyesight caught phrases like “Territory cannot be lost.” The patrolling policen carrying oil lamps passed by from the other side of the street, without even looking at the “two people” under the streetlight.
Iluna turned her head back to the constantly scrolling golden text and was surprised to find that the once-phantom white feathers had beco increasingly solid. She curiously reached out to touch them; the text had no tactile sensation, only light, but the feathers were tangible but, unfortunately, couldn’t stay in her hand.
[The Angel asked if you need to change a request.]
[It can guide you to gain power beyond Thirteen Rings.]
[It can inform you of the whereabouts of the remaining eleven Chosen Ones.]
[It can grant you wisdom to defeat all formidable foes: the Unclassified Level Relic – Crown of Darkness.]
[It can help you uncover the secrets and lies of the world.]
“No need to say so much, I only want to know how I can save Shard Suren Hamilton. Didn’t you say when you ca to
that only I could help and save him?”
Iluna slightly tilted her head:
“Tell
the answer. If even a Cherub cannot tell , then in the next ga, I will seek help from the Deity; soone must be able to give
a hint. If no one can help , I will help Shard on my own without relying on anyone.”
There was no one familiar to her here, so she felt she could speak these words, which were uniquely romantic to Iluna Alia Beath.
“If” looked at the girl at the edge of the streetlight glow, did not continue the story but frowned and asked:
“Hero of destiny, do you like him that much?”
The seventeen-year-old girl showed a smile at the corner of her mouth:
“That’s my privacy, I won’t casually tell others. Please continue, what did the Angel say?”
[You told the Lake Goddess of your persistence.]
[The Lake Goddess did not give you the answer you wanted.]
As the words of “If” fell, the endlessly extending golden cursive text exploded silently in front of Iluna. The explosion of golden fragnts made Iluna instinctively take a step back, and then in the golden light, nurous white feathers gathered into a translucent figure; if it weren’t night now, Iluna might not even be able to see it.
The white figure holding a long staff spoke to Iluna:
“Hero of destiny, Chosen of Balance, the main character on the stage; what you seek is the deepest and ultimate secret of this world. Guidance of Fate, Enlightennt of Wisdom, but this is still not enough. You still need at least two more pieces of help, Ti and Space, or perhaps the assistance of the Apocalypse Guardian or the Fire Guardians. Find those you can reach, and then you will be able to obtain the answer.”
Iluna blinked:
“Apocalypse Guardians… Fire Guardians, I can probably guess are related to Sister Delphine… What are Ti and Space?”
Then she thought of “Guidance of Fate” referring to the “If” before her, “Enlightennt of Wisdom” being this Cherub:
“So, do I need to find sothing equivalent to an ‘Angel,’ an Unclassified Level Relic?”
The transparent white figure shook its head and disappeared into the night of Green Lake City. Iluna frowned tightly, took out her five “Sage’s Glowstones” from her pocket. The blue stones emitted a faint light; she still didn’t feel smarter, but she vaguely understood that she had already touched the truth.
“If” continued the unfinished ga:
[You were forced to leave Lake Cherub.]
[You encountered Angelina Cavendish, who questioned you about why you were eavesdropping on her matters.]
Iluna looked up, getting a bad premonition.
[Enter battle phase, Angelina Cavendish launched an attack on you.]

“Wait!”
Iluna imdiately raised her hand to interrupt him, looking at the unclassified level relic in front of her:
“I know there’s a lot that I can’t even imagine now in that lost era. But being killed by the Gatekeeper of the Apocalypse, the Guardian of the Sanctuary, and the Undead of Everlasting Humanity last ti is one thing, surely I can’t be defeated by Angelina Cavendish, right? No matter what, I am The Chosen One, and she was at least an ordinary person when she encountered Shard in 1853. Even without the tiline involving Shard, she beca a Circle Sorcerer during her initial encounter with Shard, which is less than a year from the current spring of 1854, surely she couldn’t kill , right? Don’t tell
she’s really The Chosen of Witch and Chaos.”
“If” smiled at her:
[After three arduous hours of battle, you barely managed to defeat Angelina Cavendish, who intended to teach you a small lesson.]
“Difficult… barely… ha, in the next ga, even if you say I was defeated by Shard’s cat Mia, I wouldn’t be surprised.”
“If” looked at her with a smile:
[Your battle alard the True God Church in Huntington City.]
[The Church discovered you seriously injured, forcing you to return to Green Lake and face the situation that was already completely out of control.]
[Space is chaotic, enemies exiled from the world’s reverse side have returned. Evil objects, demons, undead, dragons, the enemies hovering above Green Lake are no longer sothing you can withstand.]
[You were late joining the battle, facing Laplace Klein Edwards alone.]
[You discovered his secret, due to the witch’s escape, The Chosen’s incomplete absorption of the whole family. Lacking Witch Edwards aligns more perfectly with the Ancient God “Connection and Disconnection” – [Primordial Rift]’s imperfect imagery.]
[You were defeated by the Chosen of Space.]
[You failed, the Chosen of Space retreated to Green Town, in the mansion concealed by white fog, with family mbers, awaiting the final day in the revelry of Wine of Immortality.]
[The Green Lake incident concluded, and you returned despondently to Tobesk City.]
Though Iluna did not “die” this ti, the second ga abruptly ended here. Iluna was not disappointed, but rather content for acquiring a series of critical intelligence, so the scroll was put away, and the white-robed, golden-haired man bowed slightly to Iluna:
“Thank you again for all you have done for this world, Chosen of Balance. Please let us look forward to our next eting, which will be the final ga.”
“I understand.”
Still pondering whom she should seek, Iluna nodded, watching the figure step back into the night, until she couldn’t see him at all.
She sighed softly, temporarily clearing her mind, looking up at the night sky covered by clouds, and then gazing at the three moons. Suddenly, she was startled because in the silver moon, she seed to see a silver-haired woman curled up, her head tilted, sleeping with her arms hugging herself.
But before she could see clearly, that strange figure vanished.
The gentle moonlight shone on Iluna, and another voice beside her softly reminded:
[Iluna, you have gained insights into “Silvermoon.”]
After a brief pause:
[This is the second ti you’ve had a special feeling about “Silvermoon” since you conducted the Chosen One Ceremony and witnessed Shard. Next ti, you might obtain Miracle-Silvermoon.]
Her brown hair swayed mildly in the night breeze, the young lady had gained yet another troubling matter.
Of course, on the other hand, Shard had no idea that Iluna had already arrived in the area. After Tentacle Man Sloss Edwards retreated, the doctor didn’t want more people to see him, thus he prepared to leave:
“Visit
in my room after you go back, I’ll refine the demon remains for you. Also, in the Maze, the demon has imprisoned many souls that are now within the demon remains, let’s discuss how to handle them.”
He was sowhat exhausted but more excited, waving to Shard, then carrying the glowing bottle with Wish Demon, stepping on the coffin resurfaced on the water, leaving like he was gliding on a skateboard… which looked very codic, Shard was glad the doctor didn’t turn back to see his expression as he casually left.
However, Dr. Schneider wouldn’t leave Green Lake so quickly, as he needed to create coins to fool the Greed Demon of the Fifth Era. Returning to Tobesk now would an consuming a lot of ti on a train journey, so he decided to create them here, conveniently using the Sage-Level Relic [Reward of Avarice] as assistance.
But this ant that the day after tomorrow, which was the 12th day of Rain-Prayer Moon next Monday when Luviya and Priest Augustus arrived at Green Lake, there would be four group mbers here.
He sighed standing on the lake surface:
“May 12th… March 12th, isn’t it exactly…”
[Randall Valley, the Earth’s banquet.]
Two months had swiftly passed since the conclusion of the “Chosen of the Earth” story, and today the situation in the Green Lake region is not any better than back then.
Shard didn’t dwell on the water for too long, quickly returning to the boat, informing the ladies aboard of his recent conversation with Sloss Edwards. Miss Benanis, Miss Sylvia, and gan all agreed with Shard’s judgnt. Compared to capturing two temporarily non-threatening mbers of the Edwards Family, obtaining news from The Chosen was certainly more important.
