Capítulo 1816: Chapter 1815: Family and Family
Indeed, after Shard asked his question, the head in the middle of the Diviner did not imdiately answer like the other two heads.
She pondered for a mont, grabbed a handful of entrails from the corpse on the table and tasted them with her mouth, before her bloodied lips spoke her divination result:
“The Internal Organ Divination indicated the future. I saw it, yes, soon, in half a month or a month, such a girl will appear in your dreams.”
Shard confidently smiled:
“Is that how Internal Organ Divination works? Oh, that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you are wrong. She will appear in my dream tonight. I’m very sure of that.”
He had already decided that he must see Long-Haired Luvia tonight. The dream version of her should also be waiting for him.
The middle head neither confird nor denied but continued to chew on the entrails in her mouth. She seed to fall into a deep confusion so that after swallowing everything in her mouth, she incredibly began to chew her own tongue.
Only when she realized she couldn’t speak did that head, which shouldn’t have felt fear, cover her mouth and cry out in terror.
The heads on the left and right sides simultaneously looked at her in surprise:
“You can’t speak? Did you see sothing unspeakable?”
“Did fate backfire?”
The centers of the three heads’ eyebrows grew a third eye simultaneously, but those eyes imdiately exploded into a mist of blood. Then more eyes densely sprouted on those three beautiful faces, causing Shard and Tifa to instinctively take a step back, and Laster quickly distanced himself, while none of the eyes escaped the fate of exploding.
So, the two side heads spoke in unison:
“This is bad, let’s go!”
The three-headed Diviner instantaneously transford into a black light, zood past Shard and Tifa, and flew out of the tent.
Then Shard led Laster and the three Miss Maids to swiftly leave the tent. On the empty space to the left of the circus camp, at so unknown ti, a makeshift dressing room constructed from tal pipes and draped curtains had appeared; or it was rather a prop for Magicians performing “escape” tricks.
The three-headed Diviner staggered back into human form in the black light, pulled open the curtain, and squeezed inside.
Imdiately, all the bizarre entities assimilated by the “Darkmoon Circus” began to march toward this peculiar “dressing room.” Even the old tiger Shard had burned by the riverside reappeared and squeezed into the curtain.
The extent of the circus’s assimilation was higher than Shard expected. Besides the Diviner, Magician, Beast Tar, and Centaur, who he already knew about, three pig-headed n also popped out of nowhere, wearing little red, yellow, and green hats, squeezing into the dressing room together.
The last to arrive was the Parrot Man that Target Boy claid had captured the circus accountant. It descended from the sky directly into the dressing room from above, and tranquility returned to the camp, while the ordinary people were completely unaware of what had happened, and the crisis had been averted.
Laster Edwards was the first to fly to the still-standing “dressing room,” but it was already empty inside, with the prop itself nothing but ordinary items.
She laughed, clapping her hands, celebrating the significant victory of their actions. Shard looked toward the wooden stage where the boy awaiting their rescue stood:
“Is this the end?”
“Miss said, the extrely unstable spatial state in the Green Lake Region will soon attract more location-type and event-type relics. Not only in Green Lake, but across the entire Material World, the frequency of such relics appearing will remain high for a long ti, even if the matters on Green Lake Central Island are resolved, it might not improve quickly,”
Tifa gently explained, reflecting Shard’s current thoughts:
“Now, it might just be the beginning.”
Though the people in the camp have yet to realize what happened, as the Whisper Elent fades, those irreversible deaths and pains that have occurred will likely soon lead to great chaos.
One of the three Miss Maids was ordered by Tifa to bring the Church’s Circle Sorcerer team into the city, while another was responsible for temporarily covering up the situation here to ensure it wouldn’t cause further trouble.
As for Shard, after fulfilling his promise to rescue the boy used as a target, he found the abducted accountant Mr. rkel in a field a mile east of the camp, still alive despite severe blood loss, with Tifa’s help.
It was now essentially confird that the dual gun-wielding accountant was an Agent of the Grey Glove, hence while treating him, Shard also used simple hypnosis techniques to inquire about his purpose of infiltration, discovering he was waiting for a contact from the Draleon negotiation delegation to sell important intelligence, eting here tomorrow night.
The remaining matters were no longer Shard’s concern; after picking up the still-unconscious Durut Giles, the group left.

Tifa and the other two Miss Maids bid farewell to Shard, returning to report the situation to Miss Galina, but before leaving, Tifa invited Shard to et the Duchess during lunch to personally inform her of the morning’s events.
As for Durut Giles, he was taken to the Green Lake Hotel, which Shard was most familiar with.
When Shard supported the unconscious man and approached the hotel, Mr. Soren Green, who happened to be talking to a regular on the first floor, ca over in surprise:
“Mr. Watson, who is this…”
Being an ordinary person, he couldn’t see Laster Edwards standing beside him. The little girl then sniffed around him and revealed a joyful smile.
“Passed out, but should wake up soon. Give him a room, and send soone to find the lady on the boat, et here at two in the afternoon.”
Even though he didn’t understand what was happening, Mr. Soren Green imdiately summoned the hotel’s servants to carry the unconscious man upstairs.
Mr. Green even refused to charge any money, but Shard still paid the room rental upfront. He watched Laster Edwards happily follow Durut Giles upstairs while he himself stood frowning on the hotel’s first floor, sighed, and turned to push the door open and leave.
Ti flew, at exactly two in the afternoon, three hours later, Shard entered the hotel again, dressed in a different outfit. By this ti, Mr. Green on the first floor had gone for a nap, and Ms. Helena Green, who ca to take over, pointed upstairs, letting Shard know the person he was waiting for had arrived.
He returned to his rented room on the third floor, feeling the badge on his chest heat up as he opened the door. Upon entering, he indeed saw the brown-haired witch, holding a teacup, standing by the window, looking at the foggy city.
She turned around and smiled at Shard, suddenly sniffing:
“Now I can tell clearly, the familiar scent on you, it’s Galina’s perfu. It seems you really have a tight schedule, just finished a date with Galina and only now have ti to see .”
“I did have lunch with Galina, but we were discussing serious matters. In the morning, I went to handle the tasks on that list. Do you know what I encountered?”
He briefly ntioned the situation at the “Darkmoon Circus.” After he finished, Audrey teasingly remarked with a smile:
“Aside from discussing that matter, did you two during lunch do anything else? If it was just a conversation, how co you have such a distinct scent of her perfu on you? Shard, I’m not a clueless girl. Tell , what else did you do at noon?”
Shard truly found this question hard to answer. After lunch, they rested for a while in the bedroom, but that couldn’t be ntioned. He chuckled awkwardly and talked about another matter:
“You’re the fifth generation in the family. So, the second generation, Laster Edwards, is your great-grand-aunt… What a complex title. Want to et her? She’s downstairs now.”
“Of course, after all, she’s one of the few family mbers who bear no malice towards .”
Audrey nodded gently and, after placing the teacup down, embraced Shard softly:
“I’ve already contacted the Furen brothers, they’ll co here tomorrow to et you. Also, I’ve reached out to the [Mirror Association], my twin nephews are also willing to co here and et you tomorrow.”
“Alright, by that ti, you’ll see them with . Including Laster Edwards, a total of 9 Edwards will appear in this hotel tomorrow; it’s really sothing.”
Shard softly embraced her; this witch, strong in powers yet not very strong-hearted, needed comfort and encouragent more than anyone.
“Yes, 9 people. Since that’s the case, tomorrow I want Soren and Helena to et them too.”
She said softly, and Shard was a bit surprised but didn’t object:
“That works, after all, you’re family. Although the brothers from the Mirror Association have gone astray, they still harbor goodwill towards the family. If possible, I hope you all can unite; alone, none can face your ancestor. Let the Green siblings arrange a dinner, hopefully, there’s a table that can seat at least 10 people.”
She softly said “Mm~,” enjoying the warmth of the mont, then quietly added:
“The matter of the Chosen of Space is gradually becoming a confrontation between two powerhouse families.”
“What two families?”
Among families paralleling the Edwards, Shard initially thought not of the Aphrola Family, but of the mysteriously fallen family of Miss Mia Gold. He didn’t know where this idea erged from, but Audrey certainly wasn’t referring to it:
“The Edwards Family and… the Hamilton Family.”
She smiled gently, placing her red lips on Shard’s cheek, her tone imbued with a sentint that moved the Outlander:
“Shard Hamilton, please save us. You must save us.”
