Chapter 1581: Chapter 1581: Angel-Level Relic – [Yggdrasil’s Key]

Due to exhaustion, the mont Shard closed his eyes, he was already entering the dream constructed by the "Dream of the Moon".

A gentle breeze blew as he stood on the wild field embanknt under the starry sky, looking up at the huge silver moon disk. This was a scene that frequently appeared in Shard’s dreams and also the scene he liked most.

If possible, he even thought about painting this scene and having it frad at ho.

Very soon, he perceived a familiar spirit touching his dream, then the door of No. 6, Saint Delan Square appeared on the field. Shard opened the door and walked inside; behind the door was the rooftop of No. 6, Saint Delan Square covered in yellow sand.

The girl with long brown hair sat alone there, watching Shard entering her dream. She pressed her lips together and opened her arms to Shard, so he braced against the wind, walked over to sit beside her, and embraced her.

It was long before Shard spoke, but he did not imdiately ask about his recent experiences, nor did he ask about the usage of the key; instead, he seriously asked:

"Luviya, are you really sure that the black Ti Key should be entrusted to

instead of you using it as you always have?"

Though her appearance seed slightly more mature, those purple eyes were still so familiar, those eyes almost had the power to drive Shard mad; he truly liked those eyes.

"After all, it concerns the world’s demise. Are you sure it shouldn’t be held by you, who has accumulated experience ti and again?"

Though Luviya didn’t have the "Ti" Spirit Rune, Shard believed she must have a way to use that key.

"I failed, not just once."

The long-haired girl looked at Shard with reddening eyes, every ti he saw her, she seed to be crying:

"If entrusted to

again, it would still result in failure. Six cycles, I won’t stubbornly assu that the seventh would succeed; I’ve already entered the spiral of failure. This ti, I’m entrusting it to you, for new possibilities."

Shard nodded lightly, which also ant that Luviya Annette, in the past six tis of the Sixth Era, was always the one to reset everything at the end.

She bit her lip, raised her hand, and caressed his face with her palm. The distance was so close that Shard could even see his reflection in those purple eyes:

"You’re not , entering the apocalyptic era with Yggdrasil’s Key, probably incapable of eting

or knowing everything about the bygone era like I do; you know only fragnts. But ti and destiny will guide you, Shard. Please forgive

for entrusting what was mine to you. I won’t give you any experience as my experience leads to wrong conclusions. Do what you hope to do, even if you fail—my beloved—at least this ti, soone will accompany

in witnessing the final twilight of sunset."

"No need to apologize to , I will always be with you."

Shard shook his head lightly, wanting to say more, but gentle lips t his.

The long-haired, purple-eyed girl opposite Luviya’s spirit showed more initiative and passion than the usual Luviya, also more tenderness and desire for love. Though doing such a thing on the rooftop felt embarrassing, fortunately, this was just a dream. The soul’s rging brought the two closer, and Shard could feel her sadness and deep-seated loneliness.

"Can’t you really tell Luviya about ’you’?"

Shard remained puzzled about this; he was generally unwilling to hide too much from Luviya, and informing her could simplify many tasks.

"No need for you to disclose anything, I’ll discover it myself; I’m a smart girl. This ti, I’ll know what I should, should know myself."

She wrapped her arms around Shard’s neck and gently nibbled.

"How can Yggdrasil’s Key be turned back into a key? What level is this relic? What is the containnt thod? Also, I obtained a strange card from the past, why is it a card?"

Shard then asked consecutively, but the purple-eyed girl did not imdiately respond. She wept with closed eyes, feeling the burning temperature of Shard’s soul:

"In my na, declare the change of Yggdrasil’s Staff back into a key. It’s an angel, oh, angel-level relic, the containnt thod is the sa as ordinary ti keys. You obtained a card from the apocalyptic era? Indeed your experience is different from mine; I can guess what it is but cannot tell you why it is a card, although you must use it carefully."

She gestured for Shard to lean in to kiss her, the wet kiss tasted of tears:

"Use those cards cautiously; they will accelerate the arrival of the apocalypse and calamities. The card’s containnt th, thod, place it near the divine statue."

She didn’t continue speaking but opened her hazy tear-filled eyes to look at Shard:

"Why stop? Are you upset by my hiding?"

"I’m wondering, next ti I can see you again?"

The long-haired, purple-eyed girl opened her arms for Shard to pick her up; she then laid her cheek on Shard’s left chest to feel the strong heartbeat of a heart that should not exist within his soul, the pulsation mingled with divine resonance:

"Next ti, when you use that key."

"Next month?"

"So in your hands, it can only be... once a month."

On the intertwining figures, the last glimrs of the apocalyptic sky’s light scattered, as two lonely souls shared their intense emotions with each other. She didn’t have Shard do anything because of that key, nor did she assign him any tasks. She simply hoped Shard would do what he wanted, she just wished, before another end arrives, new possibilities would be born.

(Little Mia is running...)

Early Tuesday morning, Luviya was humming a song while making breakfast in the kitchen. Mia was energetically watching the pigeons in the square from the living room window. Although Shard was sitting at the dining table reading the newspaper, he was actually thinking about what happened last night:

"I thought this ti I would be punished for contacting the ti curse again and be unable to use the key for two weeks."

[Since you guessed that there would be such a punishnt, why didn’t you refuse her in the dream?]

"She" whispered softly, and Shard could only chuckle dryly, but he didn’t lie:

"I also long to see her again."

[Your soul resisted the curse from that damaged soul. On one hand, it’s because this is not the first ti; on the other hand, devouring the filthy source of the twisted earth has enhanced your resistance to curses.]

Now Shard understood.

Though they slept together, Luviya hadn’t noticed what happened last night at all. She just said when she got up that morning that she felt especially good, as if her soul had been cleansed by so holy power. Her good mood while making breakfast was also because her ntal and spiritual state were excellent, being exceptionally energetic even so early in the morning.

"She" once told Shard that Long-Haired Luviya’s damaged soul could be repaired little by little through intimate contact with Shard, and it seed to be effective.

Shard still didn’t plan to imdiately use Mr. Edmund’s ti key today, but intended to set off for the Green Lake Region. He had quite a lot to do over there—the investigation of The Chosen One, Mr. Edmund’s task of acquiring materials, and the secrets of the Edwards Family—all requiring a great deal of ti to look into.

He planned to first familiarize himself with the two cities, and if he had ti, he would consider visiting the mist-covered island in the center of Green Lake.

Luviya also knew about Shard’s travel plan for the day, so after breakfast, she took out her divination cards to divine for Shard:

"Today’s state is especially good, the divination will definitely be very accurate."

The violet-eyed girl said with considerable confidence.

"Actually, every ti you divined for

before, the results were very accurate. Thinking back now, I really don’t rember you ever making a mistake."

Shard complinted with a smile, and then, as Luviya requested, selected two cards from the one hundred and eight divination cards spread on the table.

Luviya turned them over:

"Let

see, [Twins] [Cat]"

"What does that an?"

Shard asked curiously, touching the cat lying on his lap.

"It’s hard to explain, maybe..."

Luviya looked at Little Mia:

"Perhaps it’s related to this cat. But clearly, you’re certainly not planning for Little Mia to reproduce the next generation, so it might an sothing else."

"ow!"

Mia hissed at her, then lay back down again because of Shard’s caress.

Shard pondered:

"I have so ideas about the [Twins], the Ancient God of Space, Primordial Rift’s power involves not only space but also rupture and restoration, as well as the concept of ’Duality’."

With Grace and Helen’s presence, Shard understood this deeply:

"Maybe this ti The Chosen One is a pair of twins? Perhaps Eric Forun and Charles Follen brothers? They’re conveniently mbers of the Edwards Family."

"There’s no direct connection between mbers of the Edwards Family and The Chosen One. And The Chosen One can only be a single entity, unless one person absorbs another, just like the Relic [Faceless Man], otherwise even if one among them is The Chosen One, it could only be one."

Luviya emphasized, but agreed that Shard’s view had so rit:

"But such a coincidence, the Edwards Family is also in that area... Once you’re in the Green Lake Region, you can focus on observing the two brothers. It’s quite suspicious that they’re twins, related to a local secretive family, and just happened to appear now."

"They’re probably still on the steam train, I still need to think about how to explain appearing there."

"You’ll co up with a way."

The Female Diviner gave the Outlander a kiss representing "luck." A kiss without tears and one with tears are indeed quite different.
