Chapter 1125: Chapter 1125: The Holy Duel

As the Crystal Shield fully ford, an ancient dark golden glow burst forth amidst the radiant golden light.

The power that erged from Shard’s knowledge illuminated him instead. Dense transparent characters flowed from his hands, entwining the arrow and bow, and in that silent dark golden glow, he seed to suddenly grow taller. The eruption of physical power directly stretched his clothes to the point of tearing.

With every breath, he could feel stronger forces surging between his hands, the bow, and the arrow. The dense characters flowed in golden, blue, and silver light, within the arrow, on Shard’s skin, and in his eyes.

In the distance, giant trees swayed, the top of a castle tower atop a hill seed to flicker with flas, and the small town surrounding the castle was bright with lights, while dense moisture gathered on the Heart Lake Island in the dense forest.

The divine brilliance made him seem, at this mont, like a burning golden torch, and the wind carried that golden shadow to his rear, with scattered golden embers enhancing the power of the Maze Lock.

The wind and snow intertwined, the knowledge from his holand intertwined with the mysteries of this world. It was technology, techniques, learning, culture, morality, faith, and civilization.

mories of ho, mories of the new world, and countless pieces of information that Shard had even long forgotten forged the power of this arrow. In a trance, the phantom of a strange city shrouded by clouds, with the smoke-spewing streets of Tobesk, rged behind Shard. Yet no one knew what that truly represented.

The atmosphere was suppressed to the extre, and although the powers in the Maze Lock had not yet touched, they had already collided. Everyone in the Maze Locks Stonehenge held their breath, the bonfire’s glow suppressed to near extinction.

Enveloped in the golden flowing light, the man with indistinct features finally released the bowstring in that light—

Whoosh!

The brilliance of that mont caused the starry sky to lose its color, chaotic hues spread through the air as the arrow cut through, but were quickly swallowed by the scenery in the Maze Lock.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The light trace left by this arrow lingered in the air, and the Maze Lock space appeared to shatter like a mirror with continuous cracks.

“What is this?”

The Sir at the center of the shield, due to the traits of his Maze Lock, fully sensed what kind of power the opponent across from him used. He could not comprehend what the other had gone through.

The arrow had flown, and a satisfied Shard gasped as he lowered his hand. The feeling of energy filling him finally made the sensation of Mia crawling on him fade, but at that mont, he still longed to fall onto the bed holding the girl with purple eyes, which he considered a recurrence of the influence of [Desire].

anwhile, the very center of the crystal shield before him now had a small hole.

Crack!

Under the watchful eyes of all, starting from the small hole in the center of the Crystal Shield, a web of cracks spread across the colorful shield. The colorful crystals shattered silently, disappearing without a trace upon falling to the ground.

The chaotic colors in the space ford light traces that lingered for a long ti, but within the shattered crystal shield, Lakin Prisia was nowhere to be found.

With a dull thud, a black book erged from the ground, expelling the frightened Lakin Prisia.

On one knee, pressing his right hand against his heart, at the last mont when Shard shot the arrow, he had still dodged, using his Maze Lock’s traits and The Chosen One’s power, sacrificing half his body to avoid the shot.

Though the book devoured and then released him, his physical injuries had largely healed, but the backlash of the Arcane Technique and the harm to his spirit and soul could not be cured. More severely, was the undeniable fact just now:

“How is this possible? I actually…”

He looked with an expression of horror at the ground before him, then suddenly raised his head to look at Shard:

“Who are you? What have you seen?”

Shard raised his hand, the arrow that could still shred anyone present flew from behind him. As the light reached his side, the arrow was already in his grasp.

He did not shoot again but instead asked the opponent:

“Lakin Prisia, do you concede?”

Lakin Prisia, with the shattered halo above his head, had his form of five light orbs regress to five floating crystal stones, the shine of the Sage’s Glowstone dimming further, while Shard pondered how exactly to use the “Recorder’s” power to “record” the power of The Chosen One.

“No, I do not concede!”

Kneeling, the Southern Nation Gentleman abruptly raised his head to look at Shard.

“You have already lost.”

Iluna warned, intending to raise her Balance to declare the result, but Shard shook his head:

“Let him continue speaking, I want to defeat him fair and square… Why do you believe you haven’t lost?”

“I was defeated by… that arrow, not by you.”

“My knowledge transforms into the power of an arrow, your knowledge becos your shield… very well.”

Shard suddenly said:

“Since you refuse to admit defeat, do you want to try again?”

Five Radiant Stones ford into a deep blue longbow, emitting light points all around, with beams of light dancing on the Heart Lake Island within the Maze Lock.

In the state of Divinity Overflow, Shard would never lose no matter how many tis it ca. At this mont, the Maze Lock was flowing, power coursing endlessly. Standing on the land of the Heart Lake Island ford by the four Fairy Tale Enchantnts, Shard had no possibility of losing. He also needed ti to ponder how exactly to docunt the power of the The Chosen One of Knowledge and Wisdom.

“Perhaps you’ve read more books than I have, but that doesn’t an anything.”

Sir Plisha struggled to get up, pointing at his own head, with a very terrifying expression on his face:

“Let’s have a bet, whether I win or lose, I will help you seal the Evil Creatures of Pantanal. If I lose, I will comply with any demand you make. My word is my bond.”

“A bet?”

Shard frowned slightly; although the other party had gone astray because of his desire for knowledge, he still believed in the other’s integrity.

The firelight of the Stonehenge illuminated the three people within the formation, while those on the periter remained silent, after all, this was inside the Maze Lock. People had witnessed the terrifying power of the “God Summoner” during the battle at Sicarl Mountain in Midshire Fort.

If Shard wanted, he could win now, but for the other possibility ntioned by the Angel, he didn’t act imdiately:

“I don’t want to play Roder Cards at this ti.”

Shard whispered, even though he liked Roder Cards, he wasn’t interested in playing cards with the opponent at this ti. Moreover, it’s impossible for him to take out his deck here.

“No, not Roder Cards, the inheritor of the power of the Ancient God-[Secret-Keeping ntor]should not use force to resolve disputes— I want to compete in knowledge and wisdom with you.”

He struggled to support his body, flapping the wings on his back. The wind rose again within the Maze Lock, but the Silvermoon still shone on the barely visible face of Shard, as the combined force of the four Maze Locks – giant trees, castles, small towns, and Heart Lake Island, completely suppressed the “Domain of Knowledge” of the The Chosen One.

“I want to prove that I am the The Chosen One of Knowledge and Wisdom. I have completed the ceremony, I have touched the supre domain of wisdom. Perhaps before this, I was not the wisest person in this world, but at least at this mont, at least at this mont! I, I don’t believe I will lose!”

He finally stood upright, enduring the pain in his soul and the swelling in his head:

“With the talent and power of the The Chosen One, I will duel with you! Chosen of Balance, please witness all of this.”

As he spoke, the wings behind the Sir spread again, then slowly lifted him toward the snow-laden sky, as if the Angel’s power was restoring.

“God Summoner, please carefully consider everything you are doing!”

Soone shouted among the crowd on the periter of the Stonehenge, Shard shook his head slightly and remained silent.

At the sa ti as countless phantom bookshelves appeared in the air, the square mud slab hugged tightly by Lakin Prisia also flew to his front.

This mud slab, like the [Aikenora-Arrow of Knowledge], possessed the power of the Ancient God [Secret-Keeping ntor] and was the ceremonial object of The Chosen One Ceremony just now.

“In ancient tis, sages proved their wisdom through simple card gas.”

Sir Plisha’s eyes, from low altitude, looked at Shard beside the Stonehenge bonfire, as he stretched out his right hand and placed it on the Stone Tablet. The Miracle Elent spread throughout the Stonehenge, and the dark gold gigantic book behind him glowed together with the countless bookshelves, resonating with the five dull Sage’s Glowstones above his head.

The mud slab beneath the Sir’s hand vibrated continuously, and the five faded Sage’s Glowstones above his head rged with that slab, eventually transforming into five identical, door-sized giant mud slabs in a glow behind him, standing in the air:

“If you are willing to accept my challenge, then release your power, and complete the duel as a Sage. You are the next candidate successor of The Chosen One, you know what I am talking about.”

The Sir with transparent wings outspread his arms, looking at Shard under the Silvermoon:

“In this Maze Lock, in this ancient ceremonial place, on this stormy night, are you willing to compete in knowledge and wisdom with , just like the duels of heroes in ancient mythology?”

Shard was very much inclined to agree with him, but the problem was, he was not the so-called The Chosen One, nor did he have the power of knowledge and wisdom. Fortunately, while contemplating, the power of the Maze Lock – Water of Wisdom ca into play, allowing Shard to gradually understand the power being demonstrated by the other party.

But the problem was, he could mimic the other party’s power within the Maze Lock, but he didn’t have that mud slab with Ancient God Power.

And then he heard her whisper by his ear:

[Outlander, the Stone Tablet has resonated.]

Shard was slightly taken aback in his heart, reaching for his coat. After unbuttoning the coat, three hand-sized Glowing Stones automatically flew out.

The Yellow Moon, Red Moon, and Silvermoon, representing the three moons, rotated around Shard at a steady pace, the Miracle Elent was as ancient as the power used by Lakin Prisia at the mont. The Divine Power imbued the Stone Tablets, with halos surrounding Shard, no one could clearly see the specific appearance of the three Stone Tablets:
