"Don’t use the lines from my novel to judge ," Malin rolled his eyes: "Speak, what brings you here?"
"The Lord admits your judgnt on the Dole Vince family, just as you said, nobles should have a noble’s creed. The sins committed by the Dole Vince family, let’s leave it to you to handle," Constance Federon said, his curiosity about the gatling platform making him rush towards the big machine.
Malin had no choice but to order the soldiers to put away their weapons because this Divine Envoy did indeed resemble a suicide truck charging toward the gatling platform.
He then turned his head and looked at Clan Leader William: "Do you have anything else to say, Clan Leader William?"
"...Can you spare the children?" The man’s face no longer bore the arrogance and rage of before; he looked at Malin with a calmness akin to a talking dead man.
"No, when you killed the Chandler family’s children, you already signed the death notice for your own family’s children. I am the High Priest of the Church of the Goddess of Harvest, and I must take responsibility for these two children, as well as the even younger children hanging outside the town," Malin replied with the sa level of calm.
"Then... how will you kill them?" William looked at Malin, seeking an answer.
"I am rciful. I will not let what happened to these two children happen to those of your family. They will hang alongside you, opposite the Chandler family’s road. The gallows will be brand new, and before being hanged, they will not be tortured or beaten," Malin said while looking at the old man.
"...You devil." While saying this, William looked at Malin: "Please, kill . I don’t want to watch my children be hanged."
"No, according to my judgnt, you will be the last to be executed," Malin said, smiling, then looked towards the won and children being led in from the gate. "Clan Leader William, do you know? While I was outside the town, I saw the Spiritual Body of a child beside crying. I asked him, ’Child, why do you weep?’"
Malin stroked the Spiritual Body of the child, who seed very happy, even reducing its deformities noticeably.
"He told that he didn’t know what he had done wrong to be abused, to be beaten, and ultimately strangled to death." As he said this, Malin clapped his hands: "Let’s welco Mr. Clark Dole Vince."
Two Highlander soldiers dragged over a small-statured man, then threw him to the ground.
"Is this Clark?" Malin looked towards Clan Leader William, feeling that reality was sowhat at odds with his expectations.
He nodded, the still calmly composed old man smiling faintly: "I’m sorry, this is the only bastard I ever regretted having with my wife."
"I understand, when there are many children in the family, there’s always one who disappoints the most." Having said that, Malin released his hand from the Spiritual Body’s head. The child looked at Clark, and deformities visibly appeared on its Spiritual Body.
"No! No! Please save !" the small-statured man scread.
"I save you, but who will save these two children?" Malin stepped back as the deford Spiritual Body pounced on Mr. Clark, directly ripping out his soul from the shell.
Malin gave the child the last chance to feed, Clark’s corpse was dragged away, and Malin stood there, watching the child consu the soul of its killer, until finally, it turned to look at Malin.
Malin beckoned to it; the deford little spiritual soul crawled to the hem of Malin’s pants, rubbing against it like a small cat, until Malin’s hand pressed on its head.
"Child, your brother is waiting for you; do not be afraid, soon you will see him." The next second, the Purified Spiritual Body whispered the na of its brother in its final monts, then started to burn, ultimately turning into ash at Malin’s feet.
Malin took a stone from the ashes.
How much was this thing worth?
That’s what Malin thought as the stone began to burn in the palm of his hand, eventually scattered to the ground by Malin.
"Do you see, Clan Leader William, your greed has ultimately led to the tragedy of two families," Malin lowered his head to look at the old man.
These old n were ripping off the tourniquets on their broken legs.
Malin did not stop him, out of respect for an elderly person, watching this unfold, the old man losing a large amount of blood lifted his head tiredly and smiled at Malin.
"I lost, you won, this is the answer given to by the Goddess of Fate. Thank you... allowing to go before the children..." The old man swayed precariously until he no longer had the strength to support himself.
He fell to the ground, his breathing beca rapid, and in his last monts of life, he looked at the children who were escorted to the side.
"I’m sorry," he said.
Malin calmly watched the old man take his last breath.
"Your Excellency, do you really intend to hang those won and children?" the lady Bishop of Winter Wolf ca over.
"I want to spare them, but what about the Chandler family, who will spare them? So in my eyes, the law should not help criminals. A life for a life, debt repaynt is a matter of course..." saying this, Malin glanced over the group of won and children: "I sowhat hate myself because equal vengeance has turned into what I hate. I should not have hard won and children, but if I don’t do this, what about the won and children of the Chandler family who were killed? Should they just beco a page in history?"
Sighing, Malin shook his head.
My reason tells all this should not happen, but the greed which controlled the killer tells , stop joking.
"Tuojin, deploy the troops to suppress any troublemakers in the town, tell the follow-up units to make gallows. Tell the soldiers, we will give each mber of the Dole Vince family a unique gallows."
I believe, every mber of the Dole Vince family will have a strong and solid noose so they will not end up holess.
