Constantine Julius.
The Regensburg National Research Institute, and especially the Deep Diver Research Center that had just been established in the eastern part of the institute’s grounds, had completely fulfilled the old man’s imagination of what a librarian’s sanctuary should be.
It was truly marvelous. The Church of Justice had specifically built two purification ritual magic circles for them, and with the addition of spiritual energy, they could cleanse the returning librarians freshly from their deep dives, freeing them from the fear of contamination. This turned the Deep Diver Research Center into a holy site in the eyes of all librarians, and in order to get a chance to use it daily, they had to draw lots to determine their turn.
"Master Constantine, there’s a ssage from the Sage’s Association in the south of the Farol Principality," soone hurried over, "Master William has already seen it, and he said it’s an astounding discovery."
The old man raised his eyebrows—an astounding discovery, had his southern colleagues delved into the era before the Great Destruction?
To be honest, Constantine had never heard of anyone who had returned from the era before the Great Destruction. So claid to have been there, but upon investigation, those claims were nothing but drunken ramblings.
So, Constantine took the thick manuscript, and he noticed several marks on it.
The first was a ring symbol of five five-pointed stars—Malin’s mark. Interesting, this kid hadn’t even beco a true librarian before he had already started his deep dives. What could he have discovered?
With such curiosity, the old man saw the second mark—the crest of the Mowish family. The only person who could stamp this mark on a docunt issued by Malin would definitely be Faye Mowish, Lady Anna’s eldest daughter, the youngest six-ring mage. It is said that she is aiming for the rank of a seven-ring mage; if successful, she would be the youngest high-order mage in the last five hundred years.
The third crest was that of Clovis... this Bunny Girl was now the Mage Tower’s most sought-after grand alchemist, only a step away from becoming legendary, although many jealous people claid her achievents were all due to the limitless acorns from the World Tree Sapling.
But how could Constantine not understand that only soone as talented as Clovis could turn the World Tree’s acorns into potions rather than piles of dregs?
So, being weak isn’t to be feared; what’s truly frightening is when so people find excuses for their own weaknesses.
The fourth crest... ah, it must be from the high-order Paladin of the Church of Justice, likely Miss Matilda, a very delightful young lady. Constantine knew her elders; it’s a sha that this family chose a path undoubtedly brambled. May the Lord have rcy on her.
Thinking of this, Constantine saw the last crest... wait a minute, this should be the royal emblem of the Farol Principality, right?
The old man fell silent for a mont, searching his mory, and finally confird that Princess Nova should have an engagent: "Anything else from the south?"
"Yes, the royal family of the Principality has decided on a betrothal to Malin Gaiate, it’s being talked about in noble circles," the young ssenger said.
Upon hearing this, Constantine frowned slightly. How would His Majesty of the Mowish family confront such rumors?
This was truly intriguing.

Anna sat on the couch, the still-young-looking elf watched as her husband ca in from outside and hastily took a seat at his beloved desk.
Earl Vanter, Earl Roben, Lady Manli, and Earl Mijeron were positioned around the desk, either sitting or standing.
All old friends, Anna mused as she flipped through the fourth volu of Resident Evil in her hands.
Well, to put it in Manli’s junior’s words, the wondrous adventure of the Divine Detective Leon was starting once again.
"Goethe, my old friend, don’t take those rumors to heart, you know. Farol is far from here, who knows what the truth is," Earl Mijeron opened the liquor cabinet, seemingly wanting to console his old friend with so alcohol.
"Who would know the truth, I find it implausible, old friend," Earl Roben continued with his exaggerated smile: "Believe , in these tis, to be connected with your son-in-law is the dream of many."
"Yes, my niece is always asking how she can get to know Malin," Vanter said.
Goethe trembled as he reached for the glass: "But my daughter loves him so much, how dare he get involved with that little girl from the South! How could he!"
"I think the rumors are not credible. I’ve seen your daughter with Malin, and they seed even happier than with my husband," Lady Mariam said with a tinge of sadness.
"As far as I know, it was you who forced your husband," the Earl of Miron chid in at that mont, turning into the erudite Historian.
The next second, he was breaking out the window with Lady Mariam’s assistance.
"Anna! Dear! Are you not going to look?"
"Look, it’s the fourth volu of ’Biohazard,’ just got it from Malin. Our daughter and he are enjoying the sunshine in the South of Farole, I don’t believe there’s a problem between them," Anna said with a smile.
Goethe went silent for a mont before seizing the crux of the issue: "Have you seen Farole’s daughter there?"
"Yes, our daughter gets along very well with her," Anna had already shifted her attention back to the new publication in her hands.
His Majesty Mowish fell silent upon hearing this, and finally, he stood up and roared amid the silence: "What kind of love potion has this little bastard fed our daughter! No! I must save my daughter!" The middle-aged man cried out in a wail of despair.
"Lady Anna, won’t you persuade Goethe?" The head of the Roben family looked worriedly at the king who wanted to jump out the window and the companions dragging him back.
"Lady Manli’s mother also watched her husband go to battle with her son-in-law back in the day; this is a war among n. If he gets killed by Malin, then that’s fate’s choice," Anna finished, watching her husband with a smile.
"Dear, don’t be like this, can you be a little more dignified and let the children walk their own paths."
"Then what about my dear daughter Faye!" the compassionate father of the Mowish family looked at his wife.
"I’ve said it, they’re like one family," Anna replied, switching legs to maintain her demure sitting posture.
.........
Malin had slept a whole day on the beach without waiting for the old man of the Mowish family to co chop him—Malin had already braced himself for such a battle between son-in-law and father-in-law when he handed over the manuscript to the Sage’s Council.
But that battle did not co today.
This left Malin sowhat lancholic; the train broke down this morning, and while the train staff were out fixing it, Malin took the girls to a shallow spot with no Spirits, only sunlight, beach, and the shallow sea.
The Raging Sea cald down exceptionally today.
So Malin spent a day enjoying the sun, beach, and barbecuing with the girls.
Until returning to the train, the scene Malin had imagined of Mowish’s old father coming with love gone bad to slay never did appear.
By midnight, the old man still hadn’t co, and Malin could only choose to crawl under the covers.
Maybe the old man was busy today?
With such doubt, Malin collapsed on the bed and fell asleep.
