Luxurious rchants’ mansions naturally require luxurious rooms, and the kitchen is certainly one of them. In the kitchen, Malin saw beautiful blue and white porcelain bowls. These ceramics, coming from Thainan, had a lovely appearance and a price tag that the wealthy in the Western Human World were willing to splurge on.

In short, it was probably double the pleasure.

There were also knives inlaid with Cleansing Stones—this type of stone is a kind of Rune Stone, originally just a necessary decoration on the knives used by Dwarves to cut at (Dwarves are actually quite lazy), but humans use it more because of its affordability and practicality for cleaning kitchen knives.

Of course, affordable is relative. A single Rune Stone costs 300 Mowish, which for Dwarven enchanters who prefer to trade in gold, is just an apprentice’s practice by-product, nothing compared to the muzzle of Malin’s rifle. However, for city folk who could scrape by an entire year on just a few dozen Mowish, it was still too expensive.

The rest of the utensils in the kitchen were mostly part of the cleaning series that Malin and the Benevolent Church had introduced—a strategy by Malin and the Benevolent Church to milk the rich, nobles, and wealthy who liked their kitchens spotless. Malin and the Benevolent Church would of course satisfy them, only these self-cleaning utensils were incomparable to their cheap counterparts.

The Benevolent Church made them, Malin took half the profit. He and the Benevolent Church shared a seventy-thirty split, with the remaining twenty-five percent going to the Benevolent Church—every year, the poor who received their free treatnt and the churches as poor as a church mouse would appreciate this lifesaving money.

Speaking of which, Mr. Dagu really was soone who had taste and was willing to spend money to enjoy himself. Malin was sowhat unclear whether this guy was truly a devotee of Mimic Isle or a follower of so perverted noble who liked to indulge.

With such a sigh, Fio turned into a twig and penetrated the keyhole of the kitchen door leading to the corridor. After confirming that the corridor was empty, it slipped out.

Lorrin followed suit and penetrated out, then the doors, walls, and the corridor in front of her seed to beco transparent—Lorrin shared Malin’s vision, and the corridor appeared as an undefended area. The Shadow Hounds lying in wait in the corner had already been pierced through the back of the head by Fio. The World Tree Sapling had the most innate desire to kill negative energy beings. For creatures Malin didn’t care for, Fio would directly devour them after killing them.

Malin pushed open the door and saw Lorrin entering a room on the right.

"Damn Dagu, he lives the good life here, while us unlucky sods have to lug cargo at the docks!"

Voices discussing this ca from behind the door, shared by Lorrin.

The walls and door beca transparent once more as lo followed, penetrating the keyhole.

"Harold says we should consider Dagu’s feelings; how much more do we have to put up with him just because he’s handso? Does that an he can do whatever he wants?!"

A sowhat resentful male voice uttered a sharp curse.

"That’s true, if it were you, those ladies and misses wouldn’t be throwing themselves at our great rchant gentleman," said the third voice, embodying the characteristic sarcasm and instigation typical of a Mimicking Bird follower.

"That’s because he’s rich!" Indeed, the argunt began.

Then they ca to a conclusion for this argunt—to be rich, handso, and well-endowed was indispensable, and one couldn’t lack any of the three.

Sadly, they all had shortcomings, and they all liked to point out each other’s.

Malin shook his head, feeling these guys were all nuts, and Mana beside him marked his target against the wall, while Lorrin and lo who had entered the room also made their marks.

Malin raised his gun, pointing it through the door at the man sitting by the fireplace.

"Right, I was wondering at noon, who fired first over at the police station? I heard Sunken Fish say it wasn’t him."

"Who knows, I heard at that ti the angry fools had all drawn their knives, and then the police officers pulled their guns, I can only say the tis have changed, folks."

The Chaotic Believers started laughing maniacally.

Malin pulled the trigger, and the bullet from the silenced muzzle passed through a hole in the beautiful wooden door before entering the mouth of the laughing Chaotic Believer.

Mana punched a hole in the wall and penetrated the body of the Chaotic through the back of his neck.

Fio helped Malin push open the room door.

Two Chaotics who reacted too late were hung from the ceiling by Lorrin and lo, struggling and swaying as if fulfilling their life’s mission to sway.

Malin walked up to the Chaotic who had collapsed on the ground, whose transformation had been abruptly stopped by the bullet damaging his spinal cord, and who died sowhat... wait, his eyes seed to still move.

"It’s good that you enjoyed a laugh, because you won’t be able to laugh anymore." Malin didn’t kill him; instead, Fio happily raised the Blood Roar and then cleaved the already inhuman head in two.

The motionless body was put down by the World Tree Sapling, and Malin’s attention turned to the Chaotic against the wall—no, he could no longer be called a Chaotic. Controlled by Mana, he was but a puppet.

After so thought, Malin pulled out three High-energy Fish Blasting Tools from his bag, strapped them to the chest of the puppet, and then rigged a pressure trigger.
