As he ran, soone pushed open the door from the back entrance, "What’s happened!"

"The Magic Carpet room!" Jiaxi answered while colliding headfirst with the door.

He saw the room was full of mist that resembled steam, but wasn’t quite, his old friend was screaming and pointing at the magic carpet on the wall.

Jiaxi saw a chanical arm retracting into the painting, and whispers began echoing in his mind.

· "Sorry, went the wrong way."

Went the wrong way? Jiaxi looked at the Magic Carpet, watched as the chanical arm finally retracted, and saw the picture becoming clear once again, a towering... chanical factory over a city’s ruins?

For so reason, that term popped into Jiaxi’s head.

After triple-checking that everything was alright, he walked over to his old friend—this middle-aged man had been his ntor when he first arrived and now a dear friend, both teacher and comrade, who looked quite frightened and asked Jiaxi with uncertainty, "Is it over?"

"It’s over. Didn’t you see him? Where’s the other person?!" Jiaxi felt his scalp tingling with panic—wasn’t it two people, where’s the other one?!

Just as he finished speaking, Jiaxi, his old friend, and the special forces team that had rushed to the doorway all saw the picture on the wall begin to fluctuate once again, and then a young staff mber was ejected from the painting as if ’kicked’ out.

This ti, a chanical head erged from it.

Legendary self-operating chanical being! The pocket watch in Jiaxi’s hand was shrieking an alarm like mad.

· "I know this passage is temporary, so keep an eye on your side of the entrance, I do not wish for anyone to disturb this dead world."

Everyone was nodding.

Then the chanical head receded, seeming content.

Jiaxi’s pocket watch finally exploded, startling him and making him instinctively throw it to the ground.

At that mont, the director pushed through the crowd, "What’s the matter now! Do I need to assign three people to watch this damned painting?!"

"No... director, this ti the painting linked up with a temporary portal, it seed to connect to a chanical World, and they weren’t welcoming to living beings like us," Jiaxi explained his analysis.

"Are you saying that this ti we can have so peace for a while?" the director looked at Jiaxi.

The young man nodded, ready to continue his analysis when the painting vibrated again, and the chanical being’s head and hand, holding a Chaos head, erged once more.

· "I’d like to trade so items for chanical lubricant, so tals, and so things you might be able to make. The contents of this bag is a deposit, you need to have it ready within three days."

After saying this, it threw the head, a form, and a small bag to the ground and then retracted back again.

The director went to pick up the small bag and peeked inside, "Starstone?"

Jiaxi picked up the Chaos head, "Looks like it might be a Chaos Prince, can’t confirm which house since there’s no body."

No sooner had he spoken when the painting shook again, and a heap of Chaos heads tumbled out, followed by the chanical head poking out once more.

· "This is another part of the deposit, you’d better prepare quickly. This portal is not very stable, our Grand Tutor can’t maintain it much longer."

"Wow, all Chaos heads, the Church of Justice will definitely be very happy," Jiaxi kicked one of the heads near his foot and exclaid.

"No, we will be very happy. Old Porter! Take this paper! Go prepare the materials listed within a day!" the director then turned and threw the paper outside the room, and a short old man caught it and ran off without looking back.

Then the director glanced at the heads at his feet, "Lisa, notify our task force, anyone from our organization with kids needing materials at the Church of Justice gets registered, one head each, sent right to them."

"No problem, Mr. Director," Lisa’s sweet voice responded from outside the door.

In the end, the director fiddled with the small bag in his hand and tossed it to Jiaxi, "Jiaxi, take this to the newly established institute. I heard they could use it."

With a catcher’s motion, Jiaxi smiled as he prepared to catch the small bag, but upon contact, he was overco by a staggering force and ultimately crashed down onto the hard floor tiles.

"Darn it, I forgot this thing is heavy... Quick! Get the dical team!"

That was the last thing Jiaxi heard the director say before he blacked out.
