The original professions were indeed very powerful; the two brothers from the Sayer family fought with formidable strength, which made Malin lant and also feel sorrow for them.

The original professions are so powerful, yet there are very few who can ascend to beco original professionals. For instance, to beco a specialized mage, at least one of the spell formations needs to have an affinity of eight, and such mages cannot even learn other types of spell formations. Only those with affinities of eight in all six systems can beco generalist mages, which are extrely rare. Any apprentice like this would receive special protection from the Mage Tower—as long as they could grow up, they would invariably beco a Tower Master.

Malin couldn’t beco a generalist mage, but of course, he was much better than a specialized mage. With affinities over eight in three systems, and one over seven, Malin was more than qualified to be a battle mage.

This is why so people drink magic potions to beco wizards; doing so doesn’t require spell formation affinity and also bypasses the mage’s magic net, allowing them to draw the sa power directly from the spiritual energy woven subspace.

They call themselves wizards, but in fact, they are only psychics. As they steal power from subspace, the Chaos power within the subspace transforms them step by step, until one day, an Evil God happens to discover this little thief in the subspace. The relationship between hunter and prey is then ford, and most wizards will eventually beco followers of Chaos. This is also why the Churches and kingdoms are hunting wizards—potion formulas of this sequence are a forbidden path.

And this is only the difference between mages and wizards.

As for the brothers from the Sayer family, one is a Black Knight, and the other a perfect Knight, both Church deities’ original professions. In the Middle Ages, such knights were Paladins because they were the Church’s combat force. Unlike today’s Paladins, the current aning of Paladin is—Bearer of Light.

This standard was established after the Lord of Justice ca to this world.

A professional needs a very long ti to be nurtured, just as Instructor Et-Selch had said to Malin during their previous training, a musketeer only needs half a year of training. They can suppress an opponent with five years of experience as a Longsword apprentice from afar or even kill them.

The invasion of Chaos is also like this. Original professionals need decades of growth to fight and win against Chaos, whereas Transcendents developed through magic potions can gain enough power to confront general Chaos within a few years.

Even though a price must be paid, and it’s not at all worthwhile, humans ultimately accepted Potionology. Mortals who can’t beco original professionals drink magic potions to beco Transcendents, stepping onto the battlefield to face desperate situations, which is almost a certain death choice. Because Chaos is many tis more terrifying than humans and other species. But as those ancestors said, it is far better to die on the battlefield facing Chaos than to lose everything and beco a minion of Chaos.

Since everything will be lost anyway, why not choose a death that’s a bit more comforting to the heart?

"It should be about ti. Their realm release initiating ti is longer than us sequence Transcendents, but it won’t be much longer." As soon as Mr. Banai finished speaking, Malin saw Et-Selch’s negative energy armor crack under a blow until finally, he deactivated the negative energy armor, standing there gasping for air.

His brother also deactivated his realm release state. Although a bit breathless, compared to his brother, Lord Rahabrea seed much more at ease.

"You still haven’t beaten today," he said. But the next second, his brother’s fist landed on his face.

Then the two middle-aged n started exchanging blows.

"The second phase has begun," Mr. Banai declared.

Malin glanced at the gno, who smiled: "This is a conversation between n, with fists, nothing else. In the past, it was always Lord Rahabrea who threw the first punch. This ti I got to see Et-Selch make the first move; this is an unprecedented event."

Malin nodded understandingly—giving up everything, weapons, armor, spell formations, they simply talked with fists, a reserved program of brotherly love and filial piety.

After exchanging punches for a while, Instructor Et-Selch was the first to run out of strength, collapsing onto the ground.

His brother spat out a mouthful of blood, issuing no roar or sarcastic comnt. He just reached out a hand to pull up his brother.

"You’ve lost again." He patted his bloodied and disheveled brother on the back and then smiled, "But this is the first ti I’ve seen your courage, my foolish brother. Well done." After saying this, he helped his brother up to the stands. Malin watched them walk down and Lord Rahabrea nodded at Malin: "You must have encouraged my brother, so that he learned to bravely face for the first ti."

"I just think as a man, one always needs to face everything," Malin explained with a smile.

"Right, a man needs to bravely confront everything," the brother affird, patted his brother’s head, and then helped him to the rest area.

Malin hopped over the barrier, took a longsword from an attendant, and flipped it before handing it back to them.

The attendant, sowhat puzzled, took the sword and watched as Malin walked toward the center of the field: "Young sir, duelists below Sequence Seven are not allowed to use real swords."
