Malin looked at Isabella No. 7, while she was enthusiastically introducing the advantages of her North Arica Star Conservation and Education Group to Malin, such as various courses to help children win at the starting line, filled with noble-style higher education. Even children as young as Malin could receive a pony for preheating equestrian training.
In Malin’s view, before the Great Destruction Era, Earth’s Union was full of opportunities—the pioneers were exploring this universe, and the lucky ones among them could just drag back an iron ore-rich asteroid to earn a fortune. The whole world seed to deal fresh cards, making everything appear very fair.
But in the information Jason and Bei Luo prepared for Malin, beneath the fairness, the price of a cosmic barge was sothing a common person could never earn in a lifeti. Although the Union held a lottery every month where five lucky winners could have a chance to use the barge, each year less than two could luckily bring back that life-changing asteroid. Many more disappeared in the cosmos, various causes of death could almost write a bestseller about one hundred thousand ways humans die in the universe.
More importantly, those giant corporations and families had long grasped the lifeline of the new era. While this era wrote about passion and adventure, under the glamorous surface, in darkness unseen by ordinary people, no one would tell the truth.
Because saying it was useless, the news conglorates had long been the lapdogs of giant corporations, Union officials, giant corporations, invisible Nobles; all of it hid beneath the guise of civilization. And when Chaos touched this world, they were the backstage manipulators—because among them there was also hierarchy, and being the most loyal follower of a Deity was the best choice to move upward.
The reason why the North Arica Star Conservation and Education Group and other race-based conservation groups were established was that, later, the live sacrificial rituals in North Arica beca almost semi-public, making even children from middle-class families unsafe. Under such circumstances, races and peoples had no choice but to choose conservation groups to protect their children.
But in Jason and their intelligence, even these conservation groups were part of the large backstage hands behind the sacrificial rituals. They would select children with Spiritual Energy potential, using their lives to appease the so-called Deities they believed in.
In Jason’s records, the Union police headquarters had completely distrusted the North Arican regional bureaus in the later stages. They had deployed ard police SWAT teams from East Asia multiple tis to North Arica and South Arica to investigate sacrificial rituals.
After the Great Destruction Era, records like this could be found for up to sixty tis or more. Among them, seventeen tis SWAT teams were ambushed during the action, fourteen tis all mbers of the SWAT team were killed, two tis the task was completed after a bitter battle, but the perpetrators weren’t hard, so were dressed in the guise of ntal illness with the help of lawyers.
Only once, the Thainan ard police SWAT team completed the task with seven casualties, all mbers wounded, all law enforcent recorders interfered, leaving no records of the operation. It was also that ti when the sacrificial ritual site had no survivors.
During that operation, the children and relatives of seventeen North Arican legislators, at least four giant corporation CEOs and backstage figures, and nurous participants died unusually.
After this operation, the Thainan police departnt publicly announced it would no longer engage in any North Arican activities—because during the final stretch of the battle, team mbers ran out of bullets; they resorted to fighting the enemy using various cold weapons, furniture, and even fists.
Three months later, the Great Destruction Era began.
"Isabella No. 7." Malin spoke.
This buzzing lady stopped imdiately. She looked at Malin, "Mr. Malin, is there sothing you want to say?"
"I don’t want to co here to study." Malin tried hard to appear calm while saying this, but the lady imdiately screeched.
Her artificial face twisted into a vicious snarl, spikes grew from her chanical body, even structures like flesh seed to erge.
She had long been polluted and distorted by Chaos.
Malin drew the World Tree Sapling, the Mana transford into a Longsword in his hand wailed because it sensed too many negative emotions right on the other side of the transparent wall.
Because these people, from birth to death, never truly lived as themselves.
"You must be an assassin sent by another group! You want to kill ! Sobody! An assassin!" This distorted intelligent machine activated the security system, but Jason and Bei Luo had long hacked this system, and also inford Malin of a truth—there were no security machines left in the central layer of the security system.
Likely during the distortion, Isabella No. 7 had already disposed of all the security machines, as they could see at least twenty broken security machines from the corridor probe system.
Malin didn’t give her a chance either; a sweep of the World Tree Sapling turned this chanical lady into a pile of fine fragnts, first striking the wall, then clattering to the ground.
If this were a ga, Malin thought there should be at least two achievents popping over his head.
