"There’s another one on top of the city gate." Malin said while pushing back the reloaded bullet chamber, then he shot towards the top of the gate as he pretended to sheath his gun. The Insectoid Chaos appeared with the gunshot, crashing heavily to the ground, its shell shattered.

"Got it dealt." Malin finished, the World Tree Sapling in his hand shot out like electricity, hooking a bug corpse for Malin: "By the way, Sage Yu, what is this thing called?"

"Corrupted Bug Armor, sothing the Europeans fiddled with during the Great Destruction Era. We have factories here too. Originally ant for mortals to use as biological armor, but as you see, it’s gone out of control. Since New Hangzhou is relatively close, we established camps in the central area to monitor the situation here." Sage Yu said, turning to look at the captain: "What’s going on with you guys, this thing’s right under your noses! Are you looking to die? Where are the bi-detectors?"

"Broken, broken, the repair team won’t arrive by airship until this afternoon. I’ve stationed the soldiers on the walls." The captain’s face was drenched in cold sweat.

Malin casually dissected one of the bug corpses, confirming that their bug armor was unexpectedly fragile, and also confird that these Insectoids have evolved in the assassin line — their upper limbs resembling a mantis, with reverse-jointed limbs, very sharp at the ends.

"Ails." Malin waved.

Ails jogged over.

Malin snapped off the forelimb and jabbed it into his hand.

After two seconds, Ails dramatically transford into a lich phase — appearing before everyone’s eyes.

He drew out his Prairie Elf skin from his clothes while conversing with Malin through Whisper of the Soul.

·Extrely potent neurotoxin, deadly within three seconds, my skin can’t be used until at least tomorrow. How it evolved is quite fascinating.

Then, under everyone’s watchful eyes, Ails took out another skin, transforming into another Prairie Elf, this ti a young girl.

"Exposed under everyone’s eyes." Malin shook his head.

"When I’m dead you guys aren’t afraid, why would you be scared when I turn into a living being." Ails said while starting to re-dress.

Sage Yu clapped hands: "Mr. Ails, is this genuine human skin?"

"How could it be, it’s fake, made using Spell Formation." Ails shook his head, then pulled out his fake eyeball in front of everyone: "My Spell Formation only makes a real stomach and sensory system, this way fatal injuries won’t be effective on this body."

Malin sharply sensed the implied aning in Ails’ words: "Who hit you?"

"Don’t ntion it, recently turned into a Prairie Elf to eat in their territory, got spotted by an unknown Legendary Priest, a Sunburst almost blew away. Fortunately, I had already switched factions then, only took partial burn damage, and local Prairie Elves who knew spoke up for , only then did I survive for the Lord of Justice to take a look at . Malin, I almost never saw you again."

The story Ails told was truly tear-inducing, Malin couldn’t help but wipe the corner of his eye.

"Sir...I think I heard a pig squeal." Ails looked at Malin and said.

"You must be mistaken." Malin said earnestly.

The laugh turned into one befitting a Yegor.
