"Okay, thanks for your visit ma’am!"
Looking at the leaving custor I nonchalantly nodded my head.
This 24 hour-open grocery store was perfect for , with occasionally a few custors coming, I can easily surf the Internet on my mobile in my free ti.
"Finally it’s 9 p.m."
"I can go ho now!"
My shift was about to be over, because of Rainaziel, I almost lost this wonderful part-ti job.
Thankfully, after heavy bargaining with the store owner, I managed to get the shift from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Today, working late was just an exception. In this supernatural city, it was too risky to work once the sun set.
Since the high school’s ti is from 8 am to 12 pm, there should be no problem working here.
"After getting this new bloodline, it’s like I am always full of energy and this is only 25% fallen angel bloodline power. What if it’s 100%?"
The feeling of being inherently strong was naturally making overconfident.
Just when I prepared to end my shift, a strange girl entered.
With her burgundy short hair, gothic clothes, and lolli-like figure, she definitely had a unique charm of her own.
Then she looked towards , her eyes were erratic like she had found sothing unique.
"Huh?"
The strange girl sniffed twice before sizing from up to down.
"A fellow Fallen Angel clansmate?"
She naturally rushed towards .
"I am Mina, it’s my first ti seeing you in the city!"
"Who are you?"
A series of questions were imdiately hurled towards .
Fellow clansmate?
I was taken aback by her sudden words, but quickly figured it out.
The only connection that could be between us was my new bloodline power.
Giving my best smile, I slowly replied.
"I am Elandor."
"An orphan who just arrived in this city. Please give advice, senior!"
Learning from my previous life-death experience, I was extra cautious in my approach this ti.
"Good, as a newcor in the faction, your tone is quite humble!"
"That’s how you respect the elders!"
With a wide grin, Mina continued.
"With the unstable magic fluctuations that your body is emitting, you should have just awakened your bloodline."
Mina covered her mouth with her slender hands and chuckled.
"But still.... You got courage!"
"In this city, where various races are gathering for the supre prize, you, a re rookie, dare to participate in the competition?"
Mina exclaid with amusent.
What supre prize? What competition?
My mind was full of question marks, but sohow I held back my curiosity.
Looking at this girl who seed a bit friendly, I tried to probe further,
"Senior, I am just an orphan who coincidentally ca here to study."
Perhaps the girl read my perplexed face, her voice beca playful.
"Today, I am in a good mood! Looking at you being so dumb, I can tell you sothing important."
"As a newly awakened, you must learn to hide your magic powers, otherwise, if rival factions discover you, they might kill you directly."
"It’s very easy, just focus on your mind and try to feel an invisible switch. Once you touch it, you can make your magic power go dormant until you need it again."
With an arrogant smile, Mina raised the corner of her lips.
Following her lead, I closed my eyes and began to concentrate, straightaway, I felt an invisible switch she talked about. With a little effort, I mastered this technique.
Unable to sense any further magic fluctuations from , Mina gave an approving nod.
"Nice, you learned this trick in one go!"
Since this gothic lolli was overly friendly, I continued.
"I will be thankful to you if you can explain all the above things clearly like the supre prize and competition whatsoever."
Even though it seed cheeky, I decided to take my chance.
"Haha!"
"Hahahhahahahaha!"
"If I tell you such important things in advance then there will be no fun."
"You gotta discover it on your own, but yeah, be careful, other people aren’t nice like and you might lose your head."
Mina spoke mischievously.
"Actually, I ca here after sensing the sll and magic of my fellow clanmate."
"But who thought that instead of my sister, I would et a novice here?"
She spoke like she was expecting sothing more.
Seeing about to speak again, she interrupted .
"I was just strolling around, don’t act like we are so close."
Mina grumbled in dissatisfaction, her face slowly started distorting.
The change in her attitude was 180 degrees.... once again clearly showing these supernatural won were all unstable in their brains.
"Just join our damn social dia group, you can learn these things there slowly."
Mina’s words carried a subtle impatience, it seed she wanted to end things here early.
"Sure!"
I hurriedly shared my contact number with her in case she changed her mind.
Within seconds, on the major social app Wize, my phone beeped as I was added to two different groups.
The first one was nad- Fallen Angel Faction of Chazgarh, with 7 mbers.
But looking at the na and number of mbers of the second group my eyes almost pooped out...
