Chen Ergou used the last of his strength to close the door.
His body swayed, and he collapsed to the ground, his vision blackening.
The trendous ntal shock, along with physical exhaustion and hunger had pushed him past the limit, and the fifteen-year-old boy could no longer hold on.
Lying there on the cold ground, he suddenly completely relaxed.
Perhaps this release was a blessing in disguise for himself!
Chen Ergou slowly closed his eyes, and the light of life deep within them started to dim.
Like a candle in the wind, about to be extinguished!
