Chapter 747: Chapter 747: Bell World (Part 2)

Chen Ergou suddenly fell to the ground, startling all the teenagers around him.

Although they were unruly and loved bullying others, they had never intended to beat Chen Ergou to death.

They were all in their teens and understood the gravity of the situation to so extent.

The burly teenager’s face turned ashen.

However, the next mont, Chen Ergou got up from the ground with his hand on his head, his expression rather ferocious.

Seeing that Chen Ergou was unhard, the burly teenager, who had just broken into a cold sweat, was filled with embarrassed anger and raised his hand to slap Chen Ergou’s face hard.

...

“For playing dead!”

Smack!

The burly teenager’s palm had not yet reached Chen Ergou’s face when the latter firmly grabbed his wrist.

“Ah!”

The burly teenager involuntarily let out a shrill scream, feeling as if Chen Ergou’s fingers were like iron pincers, about to crush his wrist bones.

When did Chen Ergou get so strong?

With tears flowing from the pain, the burly teenager cried out, “Let go, let go!”

“Scram!”

Chen Ergou violently pushed forward, causing the burly teenager to stagger backward uncontrollably and bump into a companion.

Both of them turned into rolling gourds on the ground.

In fact, Chen Ergou’s strength had always been considerable; after doing hard farm work for over a decade and with his father being a hunter in the village who occasionally ate Desolate Beast at for strength, his physical constitution was naturally not bad.

It’s just that in the past he had an introverted, even sowhat cowardly character, and did not dare to fight back when bullied.

But now, Chen Ergou had suddenly awakened.

His mind was filled with nurous chaotic mories, feeling as if an extra soul had been added, clashing violently inside him.

Even his personality twisted.

The burly teenager had several friends with him, but seeing Chen Ergou suddenly display his might, so different from his usual self, they instinctively felt fear.

So each of them ran off as fast as they could.

The burly teenager who had just gotten up from the ground had wanted to say so harsh words, but when he saw the look in Chen Ergou’s eyes, he felt a chill in his bones.

In panic, he too ran away.

“Ptooey!”

Chen Ergou steadied himself and spitefully spat onto the ground.

At this mont, his head was pounding so much that he had no energy to think, and with great effort, he picked up the water bucket again.

It didn’t matter if his head hurt; even if his leg were broken, the fields still had to be watered.

Otherwise, next year’s basic food supply might be insufficient!

After laboriously making dozens of trips back and forth, Chen Ergou finally managed to irrigate his entire plot of three mu and two fen land.

Dragging his heavy footsteps back ho, he had no strength to even think about dinner and plunged into his wooden bed, falling into a deep sleep.

Chen Ergou dreamt once again.

The dream was bizarre and fantastic; he beca soone else, flying through the skies and diving into the earth, omnipotent.

At the end of the dream, everything dissolved into nothingness and he plumted into darkness.

And in the deepest part of the darkness, there stood an ancient stele, shimring with a faint glow.

When Chen Ergou tried to make out the words on the stele, it suddenly shot out an incredibly dazzling light, instantly blinding his eyes.

“Ah!”

Chen Ergou woke up with a start, shouting.

Only then did he realize that day had broken and that his body was covered in sweat, feeling sticky and uncomfortable.

He reached out his hand to touch, only to find it sared with foul-slling muck!

Chen Ergou jumped in fright, hastily got up and went outside, took off his clothes, and fetched a bucket of water to cleanse his foul-slling body.

While washing, he was shocked to discover that, at so point, a set of cultivation technique incantations had erged in his mind!

Chen Ergou was stupefied.

As a child, he had learned so rudintary martial skills from his father but, due to his simple character, he never managed to attain entry-level comprehension. However, he had heard Chen Qiao Shan talk about common knowledge regarding the martial path, martial artists, and cultivation techniques.

Most areas of this world were shrouded in mist, inhabited by countless Desolate Beasts and Fierce Beasts.

Desolate Beasts were prey for the human race, while Fierce Beasts were the greatest and most terrifying enemies of humanity!

To combat Fierce Beasts, humankind’s ancestors created martial skills and cultivation techniques, collectively known as martial arts.

Those who learned and mastered martial arts were called Martial Artists!

Following thousands of years of evolution, today’s Martial Artists are divided into seven realms: Skin Refinent, Flesh Refinent, Bone Refinent, Blood Refinent, Marrow Refinent, Acquired, and Innate, each corresponding to tiers one to seven of Fierce Beasts.

Chen Qiao Shan was a Martial Artist in the Flesh Refining Realm.

As for Chen Ergou, he hadn’t even been able to enter the most basic Skin Refining Realm—his Comprehension was too poor, so he could only be a farr facing the loess and turning his back to the sky.

Chen Qiao Shan had put in a lot of effort but was still unable to make Chen Ergou into a Martial Artist, and eventually gave up.

He even felt it wasn’t bad to be a farr; at least one didn’t need to risk venturing into the mist-covered wilderness to hunt.

But nobody knew that, deep down, Chen Ergou had always longed to beco a true Martial Artist!

Now, a set of incantations for a cultivation technique had mysteriously appeared in his mind. At first, he panicked but soon beca excited and thrilled.

Could this be the legendary opportunity?

Regrettably, Chen Qiao Shan wasn’t around, otherwise Chen Ergou would have told his old man about it imdiately.

Strangely, even though the incantations for the technique seed extrely profound, he sohow understood their entire true aning.

At that mont, Chen Ergou felt a strong urge.

He wanted to try and see if he could learn and master this cultivation technique.

Heavenly Dragon Vajra thod!

But considering the pending farm work, Chen Ergou had to suppress that urge, hastily cooked a few sweet potatoes to fill his stomach, and then took his farm tools and left his house.

Because his mind was preoccupied, he worked with exceptional vigor today.

The job that usually took half a day to finish was completed by noon, astonishing several neighboring villagers.

Chen Ergou didn’t care what others thought; he rushed ho at top speed, closed the door, and carefully recalled the incantations of the Heavenly Dragon Vajra thod.

What Chen Ergou feared most was forgetting the content of this cultivation technique—for even a few mistaken words could potentially make cultivation impossible.

Thankfully, the incantations seed to be branded in his mind, and every word was clear as he recollected them!

The fifteen-year-old boy finally made up his mind. Without waiting for Chen Qiao Shan to return, he decided to try and cultivate the Heavenly Dragon Vajra thod, to see if he could thereby beco a Martial Artist.

He wanted to give his father a big surprise!

At this very mont, Chen Ergou did not realize just how reckless his undertaking was.

It was well known that cultivating a brand-new cultivation technique without guidance ca with a high risk of accidents.

A slight detour in cultivation could at best deplete one’s vitality, or at worst, damage internal organs, possibly even resulting in becoming a cripple!

So, sowhat foolishly, Chen Ergou began to cultivate the Heavenly Dragon Vajra thod.

The process, however, went surprisingly smoothly, without encountering any difficulties or obstacles.

It was as if he had practiced it thousands of tis, to the point of proficiency, as though he was rely revising!

Each movent, each breath, tempered the flesh and circulated the energy.

By the ti night was about to fall, Chen Ergou was drenched in sweat, his skin taut and tough as an old ox.

Skin Refining Technique achieved!
