Perfect.

Wang Chen always felt that in his past life, he might have been a mole.

Since awakening his talent for digging, he had been extrely enthusiastic about constructing underground tunnels and chambers, carving out a vast space beneath his dwelling whenever the conditions allowed it.

And this private space, could provide him with the greatest sense of security.

Although it had taken three days and nights and used up a considerable amount of the Spiritual Energy within the Heaven-Ensnaring Punisher Net, now that Wang Chen was sitting in a secret chamber a hundred zhang deep underground, he felt he could finally sleep peacefully at night.

He chose a rocky mound with solid iron-like rocks underneath; the tunnels and the secret chamber he excavated were extrely robust and secure. After reinforcing them with Mana, he estimated that even a Golden Core would withstand only a few blows.

Living in such a special small world as the Yin Nether Realm, establishing a Defense Area alone, any amount of caution was justified!

Only after establishing this secure foundation for his life did Wang Chen begin to explore the surrounding environnt.

He did not leave the Defense Area, but instead went to the Star Observation Platform to consecrate the Upper Clear Qiankun Mirror.

Wang Chen's Divine Sense was instantly boosted, silently, and as swift as lightning, extending in all directions.

He then activated the full-view mode.

The next mont, specks of faint light appeared before Wang Chen's eyes.

All were black dots representing Evil Spirits and mischievous beings, scattered around the periter of the Defense Area, the closest being rely a few hundred steps away.

Many black dots were hidden in the Black Water River and the marshes, so stationary and so moving rhythmically.

But the largest number was in the direction of the mountains.

Wang Chen's Divine Sense continued to extend deeper into the mountains, and the more it extended, the higher the number of black dots appeared.

Until he "touched" an invisible wall!

Hmm?

Wang Chen imdiately withdrew his Divine Sense.

He felt he had the ability to break through this barrier obstructing his probe, but just as this thought arose, a warning surged in his heart, as if doing so would bring about unpredictable dangers!

Wang Chen did not have the hobby of courting death out of curiosity, hence he stopped the reconnaissance activity.

The results of the search so far were plenty.

Wang Chen had not expected that within the territory he was responsible for, there would be so many Evil Spirits and spirit monsters lurking.

For any other Cultivator, cleaning up these ghosts and monsters would likely cost countless efforts and energy.

No wonder pioneering small worlds is considered the most difficult and dangerous Sect mission!

Wang Chen took out the Jade Slip issued by the Sect, which was the order for his assigned region, and activated the built-in Geomantic Chart with mana. Then, based on the results of the probe, he made various notations.

Most of the Evil Spirits and spirit monsters detected by Wang Chen were very weak, appearing in his sight as re pebbles, at most the size of grains of rice.

But the big ones were hidden deep in the mountains!

His eyes turned towards the distant rolling mountains, shrouded in layers of mist, their true face obscured from view.

Massive, profound, dangerous...

The greatest danger was sure to be within the mountains.

However, the greater the risk, the greater the potential rewards. The resources of the small world that could be exchanged for rit often lay within the most dangerous areas!

If Wang Chen only wanted to live a diocre life without aiming for advancent, relying on the Defense Area with its excavated underground palace to get by in the Yin Nether Realm for two or three years would be no problem at all.

But that would not be nearly enough to accumulate the rits needed for the Sect's entry.

There was plenty of ti.

Wang Chen took a deep breath and began to make plans for the next steps.

He hadn't chosen the Yin Nether Realm just to idle his days away!

Right at this mont, a Spiritual Light flashed in the distance, and in an instant, a Flying Talisman swept before Wang Chen's face.

Wang Chen reached out and drew it into his grasp.

This Talisman ssage had been sent by Mou Guangji, who inford Wang Chen in the letter that all twenty-one mbers of the Mutual Alliance Society, including himself, were now in position.

Since the disciples from the West Sea Sect who had descended into the Lower Realm together were all assigned to the "Wu" character expansion area, the distance between them wasn't very far, and so were even next-door neighbors.

In such circumstances, Mou Guangji suggested everyone strengthen the usual exchange of Talisman ssages to share their pioneering experiences.

In case of any danger, they would also be able to warn each other in ti.

Wang Chen, of course, wouldn't oppose such a suggestion, so he replied with a letter infused with his own mana signature.

With Mou Guangji's arrangent, the mbers of the Mutual Alliance Society nearby would be able to exchang Talisman ssages with him.

This was a minor matter, the most important thing for Wang Chen was undoubtedly to start farming!

Every disciple who descended to the Lower Realm was allocated a batch of Three Heroes Valley seeds.

This tier-two special Spirit Valley was very suited to the environnt of the Yin Nether Realm, capable of absorbing yin energy and transforming it into Spiritual Energy, which was stored in the grains. Although the efficiency was low and the cycle long, it was much more practical and economical than using transformation arrays that consud large amounts of Spirit Stones.

Using arrays to transform Spiritual Energy for cultivation was only viable for those who really weren't short on Spirit Stones, as otherwise, even a standard Purple Mansion couldn't afford the cost.

Wang Chen was no exception.

The day after the underground palace was constructed, Wang Chen left the Defense Area for the first ti.

The first step in farming was, of course, to reclaim land. This place wasn't equipped with ready-to-use Spirit Fields for cultivation, so one had to clear a suitable piece of land for planting by themselves.

Although Wang Chen hadn't planted Three Heroes Valley before, the farming techniques ca with the seeds, and with his experience as a forr Spiritual Plant Farr, it naturally wasn't a problem for him.

The land he was going to clear was just below the rocky hills.

This area was only two or three hundred steps away from the Defense Area and was covered with lush Black Pattern Grass.

The soil looked extrely fertile and very suitable for plant growth.

Wang Chen was no longer the sa Outer Sect Qi Cultivation novice from the Cloud Sun Sect when it ca to farming and reclaiming lands.

After marking the location, he brought out a Spiritual Artifact he had purchased in Wanling City.

A hoe exclusively designed for Spiritual Plant Farrs.

Under Wang Chen's control, the pitch-black hoe turned over the turf with astonishing speed, cutting and crushing all the grass roots burrowed deep into the soil, along with the stems and leaves above.

A "Black Dragon" appeared to churn atop the grassy slope, evenly plowing out neat rows of furrows.

Wang Chen multitasked, controlling the hoe to till the soil while also conjuring a Mysterious Fire Flying Crow ablaze with fierce flas.

The Fire Crow spread its wings, sweeping over the rows of newly turned earth, burning all the insects that had scurried out from underground to ash.

These insects were essentially of no benefit to the Spirit Valley, and eradicated them would prevent future issues.

Not only that, but the Fire Crow continued to circle and dive over the grassy slope, turning more weeds, vines, and thorns to black ash.

To be used as fertilizer for the Spirit Valley.

Two hours later, a large expanse of clean, fertile land appeared before Wang Chen.

The area covered over a hundred mu!

Wang Chen took out the seeds of Three Heroes Valley from his Suru Ring and tossed them into the air.

Thousands of seeds scattered in an instant, falling evenly over the just cultivated Spirit Fields.
