The chaos at the Copper Anchor Casino didn’t last long.

Because a tall, stunning woman appeared before Ronan, protected by the casino’s bodyguards.

With her presence, the surrounding order quickly stabilized, and many gamblers showed respectful expressions, and no one was shouting or causing a disturbance anymore.

"Your honored presence..."

The beautiful woman ignored the group of scarred n kneeling on the ground, smiled as she lifted her dress, and bowed to Ronan: "I am the manager of this casino, Rose Sinclair. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Ronan’s gaze flickered, and he retracted his spiritual energy, saying calmly: "Miss Sinclair, you should ask your subordinates."

He pointed at the scarred man clutching his knees on the ground: "Ask him what he did!"

Rose’s gaze fell upon the scarred man, who was trembling and said in a shaky voice, "I’m sorry."

There was no point in arguing as the incident was clear and the witnesses were all around.

If Ronan were an ordinary person, the Copper Anchor Casino wouldn’t care much about fairness.

However, a transcendent spellcaster...

The scarred man didn’t see himself having the face to let Rose Sinclair firmly stand by him.

Ronan reached out to grab the cash check that had fallen to the ground earlier, placed it back on the gambling table, and then looked at Rose Sinclair and said: "I don’t want to cause trouble, and I don’t care about this amount of money, but I won’t tolerate soone stepping on my face."

"Miss Sinclair, what do you say?"

The casino manager was very beautiful, with a great figure, and her deanor and charm were entirely out of place with the casino’s atmosphere.

Such a beauty should be appearing at the salons and banquets of noble rich families.

But Ronan could tell at a glance that Rose Sinclair was a transcendent.

"You’re right."

Rose bowed her head apologetically: "The dignity of a transcendent cannot be trampled. On behalf of the Copper Anchor Casino, I offer you our sincerest apologies, and please take back this money, and Mr. Jack’s gambling debt to our casino is wiped clean."

"Furthermore, those who offend their superiors will receive the punishnt they deserve."

As soon as she finished speaking, two wolf-like casino enforcers stepped forward and dragged the scarred man away like a dead dog.

The scarred man didn’t dare to struggle, his eyes filled with despair.

This guy even had gambling debts?

Ronan ignored the scarred man who was in for a disaster and glanced at Old Jack.

The latter showed an embarrassed expression.

"Let’s leave it at that."

Ronan didn’t want to get entangled any longer and said to Old Jack: "Let’s go."

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Rose Sinclair personally accompanied Ronan and Old Jack, escorting them out of the casino.

Throughout, she maintained a charming smile, showing no sign of awkwardness or unease at having her face swept.

Only when Ronan’s figure disappeared from sight did this beautiful woman’s face suddenly fall, and she whispered: "Check this out, find out who this person really is."

She didn’t know if tonight’s incident was a re coincidence or a setup against the Copper Anchor Casino.

So it was necessary to investigate thoroughly.

As for Ronan, the instigator, he didn’t think much about it. After taking Old Jack out of the casino, he took out the silver coin that Audrey had given him.

Seeing this silver coin, the once anxious Old Jack suddenly realized: "You’re Miss Audrey’s...?"

"Friend."

Ronan said straightforwardly: "I want to learn alchemy. Miss Audrey recomnded you to , and I couldn’t find you at the Blue Whale Tavern earlier, so I ca to the casino instead."

"You want to learn alchemy from ?"

Old Jack was flabbergasted: "But, I’m not even an alchemist!"

Ronan looked at him aningfully and said: "I think Miss Audrey had a reason for recomnding you to ."

Audrey Norton certainly wouldn’t intentionally lead Ronan astray, nor did she have any reason to do so.

Old Jack awkwardly scratched his head and stamred: "I have so research in alchemy..."

In fact, it was far more than just ’so’ research!

Old Jack’s full na was Jack Spike. His ancestors were once pirates who later turned legitimate and beca prominent rchants.

When the family lineage reached Old Jack’s generation, it was still very wealthy, with nurous businesses in Seles. He could have lived comfortably lying down, enjoying life.

However, in his youth, Jack Spike beca obsessed with alchemy.

Despite the lack of a ntor’s guidance, he sought and collected books related to alchemy, spending heavily on purchasing and customizing alchemical tools and materials, dedicating most of his life to this pursuit.

One could say that Jack Spike’s dedication to learning was comndable, but he was rely an ordinary person, possessing no spellcaster talents!

It should be noted that alchemists are extrely rare and are all transcendents, with no precedent of ordinary people becoming alchemists.

But Jack Spike was determined not to be swayed by this, attempting to find his own path to becoming an alchemist.

For this, Jack Spike squandered almost all his family fortune.

He beca known in the Old Port District as a spendthrift!

These were things Old Jack didn’t actually want to divulge, but Ronan’s powerful aura compelled him to confess the truth.

Especially since Ronan was his savior.

"Then why did you still go gambling?"

After listening to Jack Spike’s story, Ronan developed a new question.

"My finances are very tight lately, and I have no money to buy alchemical materials."

Old Jack answered sheepishly: "So I thought I could win so at the casino."

It must be said, this guy is pretty naive for wanting to win from a casino.

The result was what Ronan saw.

"Don’t gamble again."

Ronan said: "I can give you so money, but you have to teach alchemical knowledge."

He emphasized: "All of it!"

At this mont, Ronan already understood why Audrey wanted him to find Old Jack as a ntor for alchemy.

This guy is undoubtedly the best choice!

"Alchemy is very costly."

Old Jack said bitterly: "Sir, I don’t want to cheat you, I’ve been deceived enough myself."

Alchemy is an extrely expensive skill, with almost every alchemist backed by large families or powerful forces, supported by massive resources and gold pounds.

Old Jack had spent half his life and all his savings, proving this fact!

"That’s my concern."

Ronan said calmly: "You just need to focus on teaching. How much I learn, and how proficient I beco, those are my issues."

Saying this, he took out so checks and slapped them into the other’s hand: "This is a prepaynt for tuition."

Seeing the amount on the checks, Old Jack was imdiately invigorated, his eyes bright, and his back straightened significantly.

"As you wish!"
