Sound Wave Assault!

One of the bloodkin’s innate abilities.

As the earliest transcendent race, the bloodkin have evolved over millennia to possess a variety of unique innate abilities.

Sound Wave Assault is one of them.

Using this ability, they can emit high-frequency directional sound waves through their throat, directly attacking the opponent’s Divine Soul consciousness, causing dizziness, coma, confusion, and other negative effects.

Ronan imdiately felt as if his eardrums were pricked, an invisible sonic wave like a sharp blade piercing his ears and into his brain.

However, he was only uncomfortable for a few seconds.

Although the bloodkin’s Sound Wave Assault is sharp, Ronan’s Divine Soul consciousness is exceptionally powerful, and his Spiritual Energy level had just advanced to Five Rings, automatically shielding him without casting.

Therefore, it was easily blocked.

Bang!

Ronan pulled the trigger, firing the last bullet in the chamber just as the opponent was about to close their mouth!

The bloodkin never expected their special kill technique would fail.

Performing the Sound Wave Assault was a huge drain for them, let alone the fact that a strong enemy was approaching to hunt them down.

Thus, their plan of srizing Ronan and then sucking his blood to recover strength resulted in swallowing a bullet, causing them to spurt three mouthfuls of blood.

"Thorn Entanglent!"

The next mont, accompanied by a clear chant, thorny vine tendrils suddenly sprouted from the ground around the bloodkin, tightly entangling their legs.

And quickly spreading upwards!

anwhile, Ronan was reloading the revolver, witnessing the process of the bloodkin being bound by thorns and also spotting the spellcaster.

Ronan was quite surprised.

Despite the other wearing a gray robe with a high hood covering half their face, he recognized them at once as Audrey Norton, whom he t on the train.

Witch!

Although Ronan had sensed her extraordinariness then, he never imagined she was a witch.

What a coincidence!

As thoughts raced through his mind, Ronan completed the reloading process.

He unleashed another round of firepower at the struggling bloodkin.

Despite their howling and the blood spraying, no fatal damage was inflicted.

This undoubtedly refreshed Ronan’s understanding of the bloodkin.

Their skin and blood were extraordinarily tough, their vitality unbelievably resilient!

At the sa ti, Ronan was deeply frustrated with the power of the revolver in his hand.

The gun was more than enough against ordinary people, but when facing a transcendent, its power was too weak, failing to deliver a decisive blow.

Shaking his head, he put away the revolver and drew his sword.

It was necessary to rely on the sword!

At that mont, the witch’s chanting resud, and the thorn vines entwining the bloodkin suddenly extended sharp spikes like daggers, stabbing fiercely into their body.

"Ah!"

The bloodkin scread piercingly, their body entering a berserk state, swelling like a balloon, snapping the thorns wrapped around them.

Including the spikes embedded in their body!

Their robe shattered, revealing a bat-like black flesh, fierce red eyes opened wide, and the fangs at the corners of their mouth extended several tis longer.

The bloodkin leaped up abruptly, lunging in mid-air toward Ronan, only a few ters away.

They clearly hated Ronan to the extre, completely ignoring the witch behind!

"Get out of the way!"

Ronan heard Audrey’s urgent shout.

But he stood his ground, swinging the cross longsword in his hand towards the charging bloodkin.

In a frenzy, the bloodkin imdiately extended their claws towards the sword blade.

Such ordinary weapons posed no harm to them, intending to snap it directly, then break Ronan’s neck.

However, the bloodkin never expected that as soon as their claws touched the blade, it sliced through the tough skin effortlessly, severing flesh, muscle, and bone!

Because Ronan’s strike was infused with Spiritual Energy.

Half of the bloodkin’s claw fell silently, while the cross sword’s slashing motion didn’t stop at all, cutting them into two halves at a forty-five-degree angle.

Foul blood and innards sprayed out!

Ronan withdrew the sword and stepped back, narrowly avoiding the foul blood.

The two halves of the bloodkin’s body landed on the ground.

Even after such severe trauma, the bloodkin still didn’t die; the top half began to sprout countless flesh buds, starting to regenerate.

Seeing this, Ronan stepped forward and swung the cross sword again, decapitating the creature!

He knew little about bloodkin, but understood that to kill such an evil being, decapitation and heart stabbing were necessary; otherwise, they could recover from even grave injuries.

Pop! Pop! Pop!

Three vines broke through the ground around the bloodkin, instantly growing three flytrap-like fleshy leaves, then bending swiftly downward to bite the bloodkin’s head and body parts.

Amidst the chilling sound of chewing, the bloodkin vanished from Ronan’s sight.

Then the three vines, satisfied with their spoils, retracted into the ground!

As if nothing had happened.

Ronan exhaled deeply and bowed to the witch in front: "Miss Norton, we et again."

"Mr. Raymond, please call Audrey."

Audrey Norton lifted her hood and returned the bow, sharing a smile with Ronan.

Ronan noticed she was holding a dark purple book.

Seeing Ronan’s gaze, Audrey smiled and said, "As you can see, I am a witch, and this is my Sorcerer’s To, where my witchcraft is recorded."

Ronan suddenly realized.

Audrey ca to his side, blinked, and asked, "Ronan, have you just advanced to a transcendent?"

This witch sensed Ronan lacked knowledge or common sense in the transcendent realm.

As a Sorcerer’s To is the most important symbol for a Wizard, anyone with basic transcendent knowledge wouldn’t be curious about it.

Ronan smiled wryly: "Yes, there’s a lot I don’t understand."

"That’s okay."

Audrey smiled charmingly: "You can ask if there’s anything you don’t understand. Actually, as a nascent transcendent, you’re already quite strong."

In fact, incredibly strong.

Because the bloodkin Ronan just cut into three pieces had Baron rank power, and even if she went all out, she could hardly kill it.

Ronan’s strength and swordsmanship clearly exceeded the level of a Primary Tier transcendent!

The issue was that Ronan seed to lack a ntor’s guidance, more like a "wild" transcendent.

This sparked Audrey’s intense curiosity about him!
