Wang Chen patted the shoulder of the base engineer and then took large strides in the direction of the B00785 base.
Lu Kui held the weapon in his hands, staring blankly as Wang Chen disappeared from view.

Wang Chen quickened his pace, hurrying along to reach the city where the B00785 base was located before nightfall.
The Empire’s underground bases on Tampas Star, most are aligned with a corresponding city of the sa level.
This approach facilitates evacuation and, even as city ruins, still provide many resources for the survivors.
Of course, assuming they weren’t excavated by the Nether Tribe.
The main forces of the Nether Tribe on Tampas Star had long since retreated or been eliminated by the Empire’s fleet in space. Currently, the ones remaining on this planet are much like the people in the D01359 base.
Because the Nether Tribe favors dark environnts, Wang Chen didn’t encounter these alien groups on his hurried journey.

Yet, no matter how strong they beco, they are ultimately carbon-based life forms. Under the bombardnt of Wang Chen’s “Equalizer Spear,” it’s rely a matter of how many shots they can withstand.
If they’re exceptionally tough, he’ll switch to his large-caliber sniper rifle.
One shot, one kill!
Thus, these mutated organisms only slightly impeded Wang Chen’s advance.
They were never an obstacle for him.
By the afternoon, a magnificent city appeared in Wang Chen’s sight.
This city is marked on the map as Delray.
It clearly once flourished grandly, with skyscrapers piercing the clouds, and vast sprawling architectural complexes.
Sadly, most of the structures had been destroyed, then overgrown with vines, with only a few tall buildings retaining their forr skeletons, silently speaking of the past calamity.
On the outskirts of Delray City, Wang Chen discovered nurous crashed planes and spaceship debris, and amidst thick grass, countless scattered white bones.
The battles back then were undoubtedly extrely fierce!
Wang Chen took out his map to compare the topography.
The B00785 base was within the Delray City area, but this map couldn’t indicate the base’s exact entry point, so Wang Chen needed to explore on his own.
But with D01359 as a precedent, Wang Chen had a rough plan.
Upon entering the city, he soon found a manhole and descended into the sewer tunnels.
