"Ugh~"
The deafening sound of the machine gun abruptly halted. The burly and robust man stared in disbelief, his eyes bulging; crimson blood gushed from his chest.
On the thick exoskeleton armor, a bullet hole had suddenly appeared.
And on his back, a huge wound had exploded open!
The heavy six-barreled machine gun, along with its long ammo chain, fell helplessly to the ground, making a jarring collision sound.
This machine gunner had an extrely strong physique; despite the grave wound, he did not collapse instantly. He stared fiercely at Wang Chen, who was approaching, a gurgling sound rising from his throat.
Yet he couldn’t utter a single word.
Even though his heart had exploded, the burly man still stood straight, unyieldingly facing the formidable foe.
A true warrior.
Wang Chen pondered briefly, then bypassed this opponent.
Monts after he walked a few steps away, he heard a heavy thud behind him.
He could no longer proceed by mining cart on the path ahead, so Wang Chen could only advance on foot.
The shrill alarm blared continuously, and red lights flickered in the lengthy passageway. The rebels’ lair resembled a flooded anthill, where the people inside could no longer hide.
A large number of ard individuals gathered from all directions, familiar with the environnt, they easily encircled Wang Chen from behind and the flanks, launching fierce attacks.
In front of Wang Chen, fortification-like defensive facilities appeared as well.
Yet none of this could halt his pace; whether bullets, grenades, or even rockets were fired at him, they were all blocked by the psychic barrier.
None could harm Wang Chen in the slightest.
With a re lift of his hand, large numbers of rebels fell.
This battle, despite its disparity in numbers, unfolded with the few overpowering the many, smashing through when those fearless rebels perished; their painstakingly fortified defense crumbled and collapsed.
Many were terrified by the tragic deaths of their companions, driven by intense fear to drop their weapons with cries of panic, fleeing into the mining tunnels, never daring to look back.
In their eyes, Wang Chen had beco an indestructible demon!
How could a human contend with a demon?
Bang!
A heavy tal gate was forcibly breached by Wang Chen, revealing a massive underground space ahead, or rather, an underground city.
If not seen with one’s own eyes, it’s hard to imagine such a large city hidden several kiloters underground—buildings arrayed in a dense layout, rough in style yet substantial in scale.
Excavating just this space was a colossal undertaking!
As an unwelcod "intruder," Wang Chen unsurprisingly received a "warm welco" from the locals.
In front of him lay a well-prepared military force.
Hundreds to thousands of soldiers clad in exoskeletons, holding machine guns and rocket launchers, ford a long defensive line, interspersed with dozens of armored vehicles, their dark gun barrels aiming squarely at Wang Chen.
The rebels did not imdiately open fire, apparently awaiting the order to attack.
Yet the silent nace and fierce murderous intent almost seed palpable!
Wang Chen halted his steps, observing these enemies from hundreds of ters away.
Although unard and alone, his aura overpowered the thousands of rebels.
Every ard person who t Wang Chen’s gaze felt an indescribable fear, wishing to abandon their weapons and flee imdiately.
But harsh military discipline restrained their actions, preventing them from completely losing their fighting will.
After a brief standoff, a sinister-looking middle-aged man stepped forward, glaring at Wang Chen, rasping, "Unexpectedly, the Empire’s superwarrior project succeeded, but this is not your testing ground!"
The rebel leader waved his hand, and dozens of people shackled in chains were dragged in front of the defensive line, each with a weapon pointed at them by ard n.
Wang Chen watched silently without imdiate action, observing the performance.
"These people are from the Seventh Rapid Response Fleet,"
The middle-aged man said sinisterly, "If you don’t want them to die, then..."
Before he could finish, his expression suddenly changed as if soone had grasped his throat, his tongue sticking out.
In the next instant, he fell to the ground with a thud, clutching his throat with both hands, his face turning blue with pain.
And around the rebel leader, ard n collapsed like dominoes, row after row, as the aura of death rcilessly spread across the area.
An invisible spiritual power storm pierced every person present, stealing their lives!
For ordinary people, such an attack was unsolvable; even their thick armor couldn’t ward off the penetration and invasion of spiritual energy.
A few war professionals could endure slightly longer.
But only slightly longer.
Just a re ten or so seconds later, all the rebels before Wang Chen were incapacitated on the ground, including those hailed as the Seventh Rapid Response Fleet prisoners, who fell into deep unconsciousness.
But it wasn’t over yet.
Wang Chen’s gaze shifted further into the underground city; the spiritual power storm he unleashed beca even more turbulent, advancing like a sweeping force, quickly engulfing buildings.
Until it filled the entire underground space!
The vast underground city, capable of housing over a hundred thousand people, soon descended into a deathly silence.
Inside, regardless of being ordinary people or war professionals, including the few superpowers, if covered by the spiritual power storm, the outco was the sa.
They were, in fact, fortunate because Wang Chen wasn’t bloodthirsty; otherwise, none would have survived.
Yet the force that ng Liangao feared imnsely turned into fish on a chopping board.
But Wang Chen wasn’t interested in the slaughter; he stepped over the rebels and approached the city’s most majestic building.
A divine temple.
In such a place, the presence of a divine temple was undoubtedly odd.
However, it was the intangible waves emanating from the building that captured Wang Chen’s attention fully.
With a strike, he opened the temple’s doors.
The interior was resplendent, lavishly decorated to the point of overwhelming the senses. There was a golden altar in the center, with a crimson fla hovering above it.
Calling it a fla wouldn’t be accurate; it should be described as a flicker, one that Wang Chen sensed pulsations from.
Upon seeing the fla, Wang Chen couldn’t help but take a deep breath.
This ti, he had hit the jackpot!
