Where else would one see Ox-Head and Horse-Face? If seeing them doesn’t an you’re dead, what does?
"What?" The man was getting angry now, his voice rising. "Do you have any idea how powerful Ancestor ng is? He’s unbound by the heavenly ways, transcending the Three Realms and the Five Elents. How could he possibly be dead? Hey, do you have sothing against Ancestor ng?"
"No, no, not at all." Seeing the man getting worked up over Ancestor ng, Su Xuan quickly waved his hands dismissively.
The man realized he had been a bit impulsive and switched to a normal tone. Both Su Xuan and the man grew excited with anticipation.

She clearly knew Su Xuan’s roommate.
"Oh, it’s Miss Sisi. No, he’s still awake." Min Chun relaxed and pointed toward Su Xuan. "We’ve been chatting this whole ti."
SWOOSH!
The cousin, Ji Sisi, leaped nimbly into the room and went straight to Su Xuan’s bedside, where she frowned in displeasure.
The reason was that Su Xuan, who Min Chun had just said was chatting, was now sound asleep and snoring!
"Cousin, didn’t we agree to watch the moonlight tonight?" Ji Sisi nudged Su Xuan. "Don’t tell you forgot?"

"Cousin, I’m just really tired today!" Su Xuan knew he couldn’t keep up the act. He mumbled, "Let’s get so rest for the trial tomorrow. We can watch the moonlight after it’s over!"
"No! I want to go now!"
Ji Sisi sat angrily on the edge of the bed, her posture making it clear she wasn’t leaving unless he ca with her.
Su Xuan really didn’t want to go. I snatched the real guy’s Trial Token, his Xuan tickets, elixirs, and other valuables. Now I’m supposed to take his cousin out, too? That seems a bit much!
Su Xuan pulled the covers over his head.

Ji Sisi actually threw her dress out from under the blanket!

"Hmph!" ca a cold snort from under the covers. "Get my dress!"
Her voice was laced with triumph.
Su Xuan bent down, picked up the dress, and stuffed it under the blanket. He then turned to Min Chun. "Sorry you had to see that. You should get so sleep."
"Right, right." Min Chun nodded, a little disappointed.
RUSTLE. RUSTLE.
Ji Sisi, now fully dressed under the covers, crawled out.
Resigned, Su Xuan led her out of the room.
Once they were outside, Ji Sisi still sounded a bit angry. "Cousin, do you have any idea what a huge risk I took coming to find you? The Yu Xian Sect forbids female guests from entering the n’s quarters uninvited. I had to sneak in through the window! If we get caught, our secret getting out would be the least of our problems—our reputations would be ruined! I might not even be able to stay in the family!"
"Oh. I know," Su Xuan replied perfunctorily.

"Cousin, where should we go to see the moon?" Ji Sisi asked, taking his arm.

Chatting as they went, the two climbed to the top of the mountain, even managing to dodge a patrol of Yu Xian Sect disciples along the way.
"Cousin, the moonlight is so beautiful!"
The mountaintop was covered in green grass. Ji Sisi flattened a patch with her foot and lay down, gazing at the night sky. "This is the first ti I’ve ever seen moonlight this beautiful."
Su Xuan wasn’t looking at the moon. Instead, he stared at the ground with a grave expression.
"I think we ca to the wrong place..."
