After all of Bai Yongnian’s n were down, a jeep sped over and screeched to a halt in front of Su Xuan. A muscular man jumped out of the vehicle. It was Chen Yuesheng, the owner of the Shenfeng Security Company.
"Brother Su, sorry I’m late!" Chen Yuesheng exclaid, running over to apologize the mont he got out of the car.
He had received a call from Su Xuan about fifteen minutes ago, asking for help with a fight at his doorstep. Chen had imdiately dispatched his security forces from the nearby Houhai Street area, remotely commanding them to lie in wait near Su Xuan’s ho. The mont anyone caused trouble, his n would appear to protect Su Xuan.
"Don’t be so formal, Brother Chen," Su Xuan said, ignoring the carnage behind him. He patted Chen Yuesheng’s robust arm and smiled. "I’m the one who should be sorry for bothering you again."
In reality, he hadn’t told Chen Yuesheng the full truth. He didn’t actually need help; he could have handled it all by himself. With his current skills, as long as he didn’t get tied up or surrounded by Bai Yongnian’s bodyguards, he was confident he could have picked them off one by one, especially if he fought while retreating. And that wasn’t even ntioning his trump card: Da Bai! With Da Bai’s help, taking out over twenty bodyguards would have been a piece of cake. But that would have been far too sensational. If Bai Yongnian knew Su Xuan was deliberately keeping a low profile, he’d probably die of frustration.
"Don’t ntion it!" Chen Yuesheng said with a laugh and a wave of his hand. He then lowered his voice. "Brother Su, my Shenfeng Security Company is looking to bring in a partner. I was wondering if you might be interested?"
Su Xuan blinked in surprise. "Brother Chen, are you joking with ?"
He’d learned from Ning Yunshi that Shenfeng Security was one of the top three security companies in the Imperial Capital, with personnel stationed all over the city. That was how Chen Yuesheng had been able to mobilize his n so quickly. An offer to beco a partner was practically a gift.

He wasn’t joking with Su Xuan; in fact, he’d had this idea for a long ti. His Shenfeng Security Company had hit a developntal bottleneck. He and Su Xuan were old friends, so trust wasn’t an issue. Plus, Su Xuan was not only wealthy but also had TQ Asset Managent Company at his disposal, making him the absolute best candidate.
"Well then..." Su Xuan looked at Chen Yuesheng with a smile. "In that case, it would be rude of to refuse."
"Haha!" Chen Yuesheng excitedly grabbed Su Xuan’s hand. "Congratulations on joining us, Brother Su! Let’s go sign the partnership agreent now!"
"Hold on a second," Su Xuan said, shaking his head with a cheeky grin. "The fight isn’t over yet. We can talk after it’s done."
"Right, right! I got so excited I forgot about that." Chen Yuesheng’s gaze shifted to Bai Yongnian. He waved at his n. "Why is that fatso still standing? Go take care of him!"

A large group of n charged toward Bai Yongnian.
"Crap!" Terrified, Bai Yongnian turned and ran, abandoning his wife without a second thought.
He only made it a few steps before a flying kick caught him square in the back, sending him sprawling to the ground. When he looked up, another front tooth was missing, making him a perfect match for his wife.
"Boss Bai, how are you feeling?" Su Xuan asked, walking over and squatting in front of him.
"I..." Bai Yongnian wanted to start swearing, but as the loser, he had to suppress his frustration. "I’m not feeling so great. I need to take my wife to see a doctor."
"And then?" Su Xuan asked.
Bai Yongnian pursed his lips. "Then go ho and recover."

Bai Yongnian knew what Su Xuan was getting at with his repeated questions—he was checking to see if he would back down for good. Gritting his teeth, he said, "My wife told you’re the owner of Lafu Pharmaceuticals. If you really are, then let’s settle our score in the business world!"

"Good!" Su Xuan went into his bookstore and led Bai Wei out. He then said to Bai Yongnian, "Boss Bai, you’re quite lucky to have such a good daughter. In the future, you and your wife should try to learn from her. If it weren’t for her today, you’d be leaving with at least one broken leg!"
He didn’t, however, bring out the hundred thousand yuan from Madam Bai. The young girl, Bai Wei, had insisted he take it as paynt for the dicine.
Hearing Su Xuan’s words, Bai Yongnian’s mouth twitched. He then left with his wife, daughter, and his entourage of disgraced bodyguards.
"That was just a security drill, everyone! Please disperse!" With the matter settled, Chen Yuesheng waved at the onlookers.
The crowd gradually dispersed, but a few curious people walked into Su Xuan’s bookstore, suddenly making Wang Xuehan very busy.

He signed a partnership agreent and had Ning Yunshi allocate so of his funds to accelerate the company’s developnt. With that, he officially beca one of Shenfeng Security’s bosses, making his use of their resources perfectly legitimate.
"Brother Su, it’s about lunchti. How about we go for a celebratory drink?" Chen Yuesheng suggested as they were leaving the company office.
"Let’s do that tonight. I need to spend the afternoon driving to earn so cash," Su Xuan replied, not forgetting his main hustle. He got in his car and drove off.
