"Dad." Yu Yu said gently to Yu Antai while holding a basin of water, "Your clothes are dirty. Let wash them for you!"
Yu Antai was stunned. His daughter wanted to wash his clothes for him?! This was utterly unprecedented.
"No... no need!" The anger in Yu Antai’s heart vanished without a trace. He scratched his head. "I’ll just have the hotel staff take it for dry cleaning later. Besides, I brought a change of clothes, you..."
Yu Yu walked right up to Yu Antai and, without another word, personally helped him take off his jacket.
This simple act, which would seem utterly ordinary in any other family, made Yu Antai’s eyes well up with tears. His daughter had truly never been this good to him before! He couldn’t even rember the last ti she’d properly looked him in the eye.
Yu Yu then walked over to her mother, Ma Lanfang, intending to wash her clothes as well.
Ma Lanfang, who had seen everything, pulled her daughter into a tight embrace before she could even speak. Large tears stread down her face. "My daughter has grown up all of a sudden... She’s beco so sensible..."
Yu Antai took a deep breath. This change in his daughter had to be because of that terrifying ga! Who would have thought that ga could be so aningful? It was all worth it! Absolutely worth it!
He walked over as well and embraced his wife and child.
After a long, tight hug, the family reluctantly let go. They hadn’t embraced like this as a family in many, many years.
After composing herself, Ma Lanfang took several photos out of her purse. They were photos of those young pop idols whose eyes Yu Yu had pierced with thumbtacks, revealing a bitter resentnt born from unobtainable desire.
Ma Lanfang asked her daughter, "Do you still like these people?"
"Hehe, not anymore." Yu Yu shook her head, a sweet smile on her face. "Didn’t you say I’ve grown up all of a sudden? I’m about to start college soon. I’m past the age of idolizing celebrities!"
"What about your Brother Su Xuan?" Ma Lanfang asked. "Do you still like him?"
"I do!" Yu Yu answered without a shred of hesitation.
The hearts of both Ma Lanfang and Yu Antai sank.
"But," Yu Yu imdiately added, "I’m not good enough for him right now. I want to work hard to beco a better person, so that when Brother Su Xuan sees , he’ll like on his own accord!"
At that mont, her eyes were crystal clear and brimming with a vitality that was the complete opposite of her previous coldness.
"Good, good!"
"Little Yu has really grown up!"
The couple wiped their eyes again in unison.
Afterward, Yu Antai turned and started walking out of the room.
"Honey, don’t go..." Ma Lanfang called out to him, shaking her head.

At that mont, Lu Dachun was pacing anxiously in his room. He was worried the ga wouldn’t achieve the desired effect and that he’d get in trouble for it. The whole thing was a gamble, which was why he hadn’t participated himself.

Suddenly, there was a knock at his door.
He opened it with trepidation and saw it was Yu Antai!
"Leader, what brings you here?" Lu Dachun asked tentatively.
"Let’s go inside and talk."
Yu Antai walked straight into the room and sat down on a chair. He raised a hand slightly and asked Lu Dachun, his expression unreadable, "That ga... was it your idea?"
"Uh..." Lu Dachun didn’t dare tell the truth.
"Just be straight with ," Yu Antai said, pursing his lips. "That ga was excellent. Yu Yu learned a lot from it. The mont she got back, she wanted to do laundry for and my wife. It just..."
Suddenly, Yu Antai clenched his fist and slamd it on his own thigh. "It makes a father like so, so happy! Truly happy!"
An unconcealable smile spread clearly across Yu Antai’s face.
Phew! Lu Dachun let out a huge sigh of relief. It seed the ga hadn’t just t expectations; it had exceeded them!
He quickly told Yu Antai, "It was my idea, hehe!"
"Good! You did very well!" Yu Antai stood up and patted Lu Dachun firmly on the shoulder, then started for the door. "Just wait for the good news. I’m giving you a promotion and a raise as soon as I get back!"
Having said that, he suddenly spun around and threw a solid punch at Lu Dachun’s shoulder, cursing, "You bastard! When you get that promotion and raise, you’d better buy a new pair of pants! You scared the piss out of !"
Lu Dachun winced in pain. "I’ll replace them! I’ll definitely replace them!"
After leaving Lu Dachun’s room, Yu Antai went to find Su Xuan. Su Xuan was in the middle of a shower, so he waited patiently outside the door.
"Su Xuan..." When Su Xuan finished and opened the door, Yu Antai didn’t enter. He simply stood outside and said, "I know you were the one who planned that ga. Thank you!"
"Oh?" Su Xuan replied.
"If Lu Dachun had that kind of mind," Yu Antai said, "he wouldn’t just be the manager of a delivery station. He’d be in my position by now, at least!"
"Is Yu Yu better?" Su Xuan asked.
Yu Antai nodded. "She’s better. She’s sensible and knows how to truly care about people now. She’s a thousand, no, ten thousand tis better than before!"
"That’s good," Su Xuan said.
"I’ve already promised Dachun a promotion and a raise," Yu Antai added.
"Mm, he’s paid his dues," Su Xuan agreed.
"I wanted to talk to you about the twenty million..."
Su Xuan said, half-joking, "You aren’t thinking of giving a cut to buy my silence, are you?"

"Go on," Su Xuan replied.
That night, Yu Antai slept incredibly well. He pulled his wife, whom he hadn’t touched in a long ti, into his arms and loved her tenderly.

After Yu Antai left, Su Xuan didn’t go to sleep. He walked toward Xiao Yun and Shi Yazi’s room. He had his own selfish motives for planning the ga; he wanted to see if he could change the two siblings as well.
As he stood outside their door, just about to raise his hand to knock, he heard the two of them talking inside...
