"Whoa!" Su Xuan remarked upon entering his luxurious dining room. "Why are you two up so early today?"
He saw the pair of young siblings were already there, slumped listlessly over the table and shoveling rice into their mouths one bite at a ti. Previously, the brother and sister would sleep in until nine or ten in the morning. They had been utterly worn out by Alice, who would take them shopping whenever she had free ti, dragging them around until their legs felt like noodles by the ti they got ho.
"Big Sister said a new mall is opening today and wants us to go check it out with her," his sister, Xiao Yun, said miserably to Su Xuan after wiping her small mouth with a napkin.
"I don’t want to go," her brother, Shi Yazi, said with a curl of his lip. "The floors in the mall are too slippery, and my feet start to hurt after just a few steps. I much prefer the mountain trails."
"Haha!" Su Xuan grinned broadly, then turned to Alice, who was eating porridge. "Can’t you let them rest for one day?"
Alice replied earnestly, "The psychiatrist at Kangnai said the reason they have psychological issues is that they haven’t had enough interaction with people. Going to places with large crowds, like malls, is beneficial for their condition."
This was indeed the case. As Su Xuan had arranged, she had been taking the siblings to see the doctor at Kangnai every day for the past two days. The physician always suggested she take the young siblings out to et more people.
"We’re really not sick," the sister insisted.
"Even if we were, we’d be better by now!" the brother added.
"How about this," Su Xuan said while peeling a tea-leaf egg. "At nine o’clock, I’m going to a racetrack to race for Brother Cen. You both know him, right? You can co with and have so fun. There will be plenty of people there, too."
"Okay!"
"Yeah, let’s go!"
The siblings’ eyes lit up, and they agreed imdiately.
Anywhere was fine, as long as it wasn’t shopping!
Alice also happily agreed. "I’ll go get the umbrellas and raincoats. We can stand on the viewing platform and cheer for you!"
After breakfast, just as Su Xuan was about to drive his Koenigsegg to the Xuanghe Racing Track, he received a phone call from Cen Haonan.
"Brother Su, there’s been a change of plans! We can’t race at Xuanghe Racing Track!" Cen Haonan said.
"What happened?" Su Xuan asked, surprised.
"Xuanghe said a night of heavy rain caused a section of the track to collapse," Cen Haonan explained. "They have to close for repairs, so we can’t race there."
"So, what’s the plan?"
"Fang Chao suggested changing the location to Autumn Maple Mountain, but I think that’s outrageous. With a last-minute venue change, you won’t have any ti to familiarize yourself with the course. It puts us at a huge disadvantage!"
"It’s not a problem for ," Su Xuan replied. "As long as he’s up for it."
Su Xuan wanted to get Cen Haonan’s race over with as soon as possible so he could focus on his own affairs, like completing the final super express delivery. After all, he was already 9/10 of the way through the first stage of his missions. Besides, he was very confident in his driving skills. Fang Chao wasn’t a professional racer, after all. A simple banner was stretched across the entrance, bearing a line of large characters:

Drenched by the continuing rain, their clothes clung to their bodies, creating a rather striking sight. Even the n in raincoats standing nearby couldn’t help but steal glances at them.
"Young Master Fang, what do you think of the setup I arranged?" The man in the windbreaker, the sa one who had secretly fild Su Xuan at Xuanghe Racing Track the day before, asked Fang Chao with a fawning expression as he sat under a rain shelter. He had arranged all this because Su Xuan had also brought an unofficial cheerleading squad—actually just Tian Cheng and her friends—when he was familiarizing himself with the Xuanghe track. Assuming Su Xuan would bring supporters again today, he had not only put up a banner but also hired a professional cheerleading squad to ensure Fang Chao wasn’t outshone.
"A bit tacky," Fang Chao said, glancing indifferently at the banner and the cheerleaders. "But I like it."
"Hahaha! As long as you like it, Young Master Fang!" The man in the windbreaker bead and quickly poured Fang Chao a cup of tea.
"Teacher, what kind of car do you think our opponent will show up in?" Fang Chao asked Han Shanchi, who was sitting beside him, his face full of ill intent.
"I can’t guess the car," Han Shanchi said, smiling as he looked out at the downpour beyond the shelter. "But I’d bet they’re already scrambling in a panic!"
Fang Chao smirked and uttered a single word, "Undoubtedly."
「On the other side of the entrance.」
Another simple rain shelter had been set up. Cen Haonan was sitting inside with Heizi and a dozen of his n, waiting for Su Xuan.
"Why isn’t Brother Su here yet?" Cen Haonan chain-smoked, a pile of cigarette butts already scattered at his feet. This race concerned the future of his business for the rest of his life, and the ostentatious display from Fang Chao’s camp had left him deeply unsettled. It reminded him of his youth, the first ti he’d gone to seize another’s territory. He had been just as nervous then as he was now.
Fang Chao’s modified sports car also put imnse pressure on him. It had been modified with extre professionalism, clearly prepared for mountain racing. Su Xuan’s Charman King, on the other hand, had not been modified at all. While it was certainly luxurious, it was far from professional. On the Autumn Maple Mountain track, it would be no better than an ordinary SUV.
"Boss Cen, how about I take a few of the boys to jump around in the rain?" Heizi proposed, unable to remain calm. "We could build up so hype on our side, too."
"A bunch of oafs like you? How could you possibly look as good as those young ladies?" Cen Haonan shot Heizi a wry look.
"Damn, if I’d known Fang Chao was going to pull a tacky stunt like this," Heizi grumbled resentfully, "I swear I would’ve brought a hundred girls over to show them up!"
"He’s here! Brother Su is here!"
Suddenly, Cen Haonan threw down his cigarette and shot to his feet. Through the curtain of rain, he saw a massive SUV slowly approaching.
