"Get out!"
Su Xuan didn’t waste another word. He reached out, grabbed the shirtless man’s hair, and hauled him toward the door. His sharp montum, like a sword being unsheathed, left the Ning sisters utterly stunned. They never expected the outwardly sunny Su Xuan, whose deanor always carried a hint of lancholy, to possess such a cold and ruthless side.
And the unexpected was still to co.
CRACK!
The shirtless man was no pushover. As Su Xuan grabbed his hair, he snatched a bottle from the table, smashed it on the edge, and jabbed the sharp, broken half toward Su Xuan.
"You’re asking for it!"
Su Xuan’s senses had been enhanced nine tis, making him far superior to an ordinary person. Detecting the man’s crazed attack, he bent low, executed a perfect shoulder throw, and hurled the two-hundred-pound man toward the doorway.
The man flipped three and a half tis in the air before landing with a thunderous CRASH! against the private room’s door, smashing it to smithereens. With that, he had truly exited the room. He lay on the corridor floor outside, moaning nonstop.
"Ouch! I’ve been attacked! Brothers, co help!"
Following the man’s miserable cries, the door to the adjacent room swung open and four or five fierce, shirtless n charged out.
"Who hit you?"
"That guy in the delivery uniform!"
After that brief exchange, the four or five nacing n fixed their intimidating gazes on Su Xuan. There was a flash of surprise in their eyes. Su Xuan didn’t look particularly strong, so how had he managed to take down their friend and leave him in such a miserable state? Splinters from the door were stuck all over their companion’s body, making him look like a giant, fat hedgehog.
"Get him!"
"He’s dead!"
"If I don’t beat him ’til he’s crying for his mommy and daddy, then I, Old Wang, will write my surna backward!"
Without even asking what happened, the four or five n, all clearly drunk, charged at Su Xuan in unison.
Just then, Ning Yunge suddenly grabbed a wine bottle, smashed it against the table, and brandished the broken half as she stood in front of Su Xuan.
"I’ll stab anyone who dares touch my brother-in-law!"
Her ferocity was not the least bit inferior to theirs. Startled, the four or five brawny n stopped dead in their tracks.
Even Su Xuan’s eyes went wide.
Damn! She’s fiery, brave, and loyal! Just for this act of courage alone, never mind anything else, you’ve definitely earned this year’s Excellent Employee award. Not even Jesus could take it from you!
"B-Brother-in-law!" Ning Yunge had no idea that Su Xuan was thinking about employee awards at a ti like this. Staring at the shirtless thugs, she started to feel afraid, her voice trembling as she spoke to Su Xuan. "When I start fighting, you run! Get out of here! Then call the cops, call for help, whatever you have to do, just co back and save and my sister! Don’t worry about losing face. It’s not shaful to run right now! You’re a man, you can run fast!"
Of course, Su Xuan wasn’t going to run. He simply reached out and gently pushed the brave and loyal Ning Yunge aside. Striking the opening stance of Ruyi Tai Chi, he beckoned to the five thugs. "Co on."
Truth be told, he had been eager to test just how proficient he had beco with his Ruyi Tai Chi. Butler Liu had forced him to practice every single day, rain or shine, without fail. He was confident that his nine-tis-enhanced body, combined with Ruyi Tai Chi, was more than enough to handle these five brutes.
"Hahaha! What kind of stance is that?"
"Does he think he knows martial arts?"
The five thugs burst out laughing. In their eyes, traditional martial arts were all flash and no substance, completely useless in a real fight. Weren’t there countless videos over the past few years of so-called traditional martial arts masters getting beaten to a pulp by amateur kickboxers?
THWACK!
A heavy blow echoed through the room. The man who had just called himself Old Wang suddenly vanished from among his companions. The other thugs looked around frantically, shocked to find him already lying out in the corridor. And Su Xuan now stood exactly where Old Wang had been a mont before.
The remaining thugs sucked in a sharp breath.
Too fast! He was just too fast! They hadn’t even seen him move. They seriously began to wonder if they were just too drunk, their vision having beco sluggish.
The power boost is significant, but my application of Ruyi Tai Chi is still too raw. Otherwise, I could have used the ground to channel my force and send him flying even farther. Su Xuan glanced at his fist, shaking his head in dissatisfaction.
Then, he turned to face the nearest thug, raised his hand, and pressed his palm against the man’s chest.
"You dare touch ? You’re asking for death!" the thug roared, clearly misinterpreting Su Xuan’s move. His face contorted as he swung a fist at Su Xuan’s head.
The other thugs moved in at the sa ti, their chaotic shadows enveloping Su Xuan.
Ignoring them completely, Su Xuan’s slightly bent right leg snapped straight. He channeled the force into the palm pressed against the thug’s chest and shoved.
WHOOSH!
The man shot backward, parallel to the ground. Because of his position, he didn’t fly out into the corridor but instead crashed directly into the private room wall. He stuck to it for a few seconds before sliding down, motionless.
Su Xuan, using the recoil, glided backward, expertly evading the other thugs’ attacks. The timing was flawless. If any master of traditional martial arts had been present to witness this fluid sequence of movents, they would have burst into applause. It was like watching a perfectly rehearsed martial arts performance.
Exhaling, Su Xuan charged another man.
THWACK!
He sent him flying.
Using the montum, he retreated.
He took another breath and charged again.
He sent another man flying.
And again, he used the recoil to retreat.
He never clashed with them head-on. Instead, like a dragonfly skimming the surface of the water, he picked them off one by one. It was like a masterclass in guerrilla warfare: when you attack, I retreat; once I’m clear, I attack you. Through it all, he remained completely unscathed.
The thugs, seething with frustration, fell one after another until none were left standing. So lay on the ground moaning, others fumbled in their pockets for their phones to call for reinforcents, and so had simply passed out.
"Yunshi, Yunge," Su Xuan said, glancing at the wreckage around them before turning to the sisters with a brilliant smile. "They haven’t managed to call their backup yet. We can run for it now!"
With that, he took their hands and pulled them toward the exit, their long hair flying beautifully behind them as they ran.
But when Su Xuan led the sisters out into the corridor, the scene that greeted him made him freeze in utter shock.
A horde of twenty or thirty shirtless, muscular n holding riot batons was charging right at them. The sheer nace of their approach was enough to make one’s heart pound in terror. The sight made Su Xuan think he had just provoked an entire local security team. How else would they have riot batons? It seed one of the thugs on the floor had successfully made a call, and their backup had arrived with terrifying speed.
Su Xuan turned to the sisters. "Their reinforcents are a little stronger than I expected. I don’t think we can run anymore."
He sighed. "Looks like I have no choice but to use my trump card..."
