Ever since Mist City Arts and Science University hosted the inauguration ceremony for the graphene manufacturing area and the leaders of Mist City for a school inspection, its developnt shot up as if it had gotten a booster.
All aspects of university affairs have been progressing smoothly.
Ti flew by and now it was already June, and the first half of the 2022 academic year was just about to finish.
"Principal Ding, our academic results for this sester have seen a significant improvent from last sester," reported the director of Academic Affairs, Qi Chunsheng, in the Principal’s office in the Administration Building.
"Regarding faculty construction, we have recruited a total of six professors from various universities across the country this sester, and we are seeing a gradual increase in hiring doctoral and graduate students as lecturers..."
Qi Chunsheng particularly briefed Principal Ding on the construction of the teacher team, which was a top priority for Mist City Arts and Science University.
Every year, Mist City Arts and Science University admits tens of thousands of students. With only two academic years currently in session, the number of teachers was barely enough to et the demands.
After this sester ends, the university would have to recruit new students in September, and the number of teachers would have to match this influx.
In addition to the basic teaching staff, Mist City Arts and Science University is continually hiring more professor-level faculty mbers.
A long ti ago, Ding Yue personally recruited a few professors.
Subsequently, Mist City Arts and Science University offered generous conditions, and as the university’s comprehensive strength and research influence continued to progress, it started attracting more and more professors.
So far, the number of professors at Mist City Arts and Science University had reached double digits, with even more associate professors.
We also recruited from abroad, including a graduate from the Wharton School of Business, Director Chen Yilin of our School of Business Administration. Based on our teaching arrangents, we should be bringing in more high-quality faculty from abroad in the future," continued Director Qi.
"That sounds good," Ding Yue nodded and said with a smile: "I favor hiring more overseas Chinese teachers. As for foreign teachers, except for the English departnt, the others...may not be quite interested in us."
In fact, Ding Yue was not eager to recruit too many foreigners. After all, a number of foreign language teachers taught in Mist City Arts and Science University.

When Ding Yue initially invited Professor Yang Kaining, he had expressed a desire to return to China to continue his career.
If the strength of Mist City Arts and Science University’s dical school and biological sciences were able to impress Professor Yang Kaining, wouldn’t he consider staying?
Such a scenario would be amazing, especially if the professor’s doctoral students leave and Professor Yang gets to stay!

"Principal Ding, if Professor Yang Kaining and our dical school team succeed with the biodical engineering project, we might be able to use it as a catalyst for convincing him to stay."
Thinking it through, Qi Chunsheng felt this was the only opportunity.
Otherwise, a professor from Swiss Zurich Federal Institute of Technology, why would Yang Kaining choose to stay at Mist City Arts and Science University?

If the biodical engineering project was successful, Ding Yue planned to hold a celebratory banquet.
He would use this occasion to have a talk with Professor Yang Kaining.
Believing in the power of Mist City Arts and Science University’s strength, exemplified by the developnt of 3D bio-printing technology, he believed it would surely impress Professor Yang.
"Also, Principal Ding, after this sester ends, I will arrange for the enrollnt of new students during the sumr holidays. Our admission video, brochures, and other materials are actively being prepared," reported Qi Chunsheng.
