After hanging up the call.

Ding Yue pulled out his system panel, and looking at the fresh reward items in his inventory, he couldn’t contain his joy.

It felt aweso.

"[Advanced Laboratory Room 1], [Level 3 University Treasure Chest 1], [Master’s Degree Authorization Card] 5, 500 reputation points!"

He pocketed 500 reputation points.

However, Ding Yue didn’t care much about these 500 reputation points.

What captivated him more were the other three rewards.

An Advanced Laboratory Room!

A Level 3 University Treasure Chest!

And 5 Master’s Degree Authorization Cards!

These three awards were incredibly important to Ding Yue.

Firstly, those 5 Master’s Degree Authorization Cards, Ding Yue could use them to apply for Master’s Degree Authorization Points for so of his departnts and majors.

Once approved, students from the respective departnts and majors would be able to study for their Master’s Degrees at his Mist City Arts and Science University.

During yesterday’s New Year’s Day performance, Ding Yue had told Tong Yihang, Liu Tiefei, and Chen Jun to wait until he applied for the Master’s Degree Authorization Points before deciding to pursue their postgraduate studies.

Ding Yue was so confident because he saw that the "[Key Major Level]" task was about to be completed.

Unexpectedly, on the second day, which is the first day of 2022, this task was successfully completed.

"Looks like I need to put getting the Master’s Degree Authorization Points on my agenda."

Ding Yue murmured to himself.

Then he shifted his gaze to the [Advanced Laboratory Room] reward.

It was a great item.

Ding Yue had received this reward before, when his Mist City Arts and Science University was upgraded.

At the ti, Ding Yue didn’t use the Advanced Laboratory imdiately.

Later, Ding Yue customized this Advanced Laboratory into a Physics Advanced Laboratory for his research needs.

It was the laboratory that he collaborated on with Professor Zhou Wen from Jiangnan University of Science and Technology to study gallium nitride semiconductor technology.

Today, aside from conducting semiconductor-related research, this Physics Laboratory is the best in Mist City Arts and Science University, and one of the top in the country.

Having this laboratory was the main reason why Professor Zhou Wen from Jiangnan University of Science and Technology agreed to co to the Mist City Arts and Science University to conduct joint research with Ding Yue.

Now.

Holding another Advanced Laboratory item in his hand, Ding Yue wouldn’t use it on a whim.

Just like the previous ti, he would save it for when it’s needed the most.

When his Mist City Arts and Science University needed it in the future, Ding Yue would use this Advanced Laboratory item to exchange it for an Advanced Laboratory related to a certain major.

Looking at the Advanced Laboratory item, Ding Yue felt incredibly contented.

Then in the next mont.

Ding Yue focused his attention on the [Level 3 University Treasure Chest], and his mood beca even better.

This was also a great item!

If a Level 2 University Treasure Chest might turn up sothing useless, a Level 3 University Treasure Chest could only contain cutting-edge technology!

Because a Level 3 University Treasure Chest is quite rare at Ding Yue’s current stage, the system had told Ding Yue that it would be virtually impossible for it to contain any "junk".

"Level 3 University Treasure Chest, this feels aweso."

Ding Yue was expectant as he rubbed his hands together.

Just as he was about to open the treasure chest, suddenly there was a knock on the apartnt door.

"Principal Ding, Principal Ding, Sister Jiuge and I are here." Secretary Wen Ruohan’s lively voice ca from outside.

"I’m coming, I’m coming."

After hearing the voice outside, Ding Yue temporarily put away the system interface. There was no rush to open the treasure chest. He got up from the sofa, went to the door, and opened it.

Secretary Wen Ruohan and Xu Jiuge stood side by side at the door.

Wen Ruohan was shorter, and Xu Jiuge, being the "elder sister," seed quite a bit taller.

"Principal Ding." Xu Jiuge greeted upon seeing Ding Yue.

"Co in, co in. It’s quite cold outside." Ding Yue invited the two into his apartnt room.

Upon entering, Xu Jiuge imdiately noticed the warmth in Principal Ding’s apartnt room, contrasting sharply with the biting cold outside.

"Wow, Principal Ding, your house is so warm."

After entering, Wen Ruohan imdiately took off her off-white down jacket.

The temperature in the room was probably in the twenties degrees Celsius, quite comfortable, while outside it was around eight or nine degrees.

If she didn’t take off her down jacket after entering, she would definitely be too hot.

"I had a state-of-the-art central air conditioning system installed in my apartnt room. It’s cool in the sumr and warm in the winter, I hardly ever want to go out."

Ding Yue chuckled and explained.

Even though there was air conditioning in his office, Ding Yue felt that compared to his apartnt, it fell a bit short.

"What would you like to drink?"

After inviting Wen Ruohan and Xu Jiuge to sit on the sofa, Ding Yue asked.

Since today was New Year’s Day and the school was on a short break, it wasn’t considered working hours, so Ding Yue treated Wen Ruohan and Xu Jiuge like friends.

"Principal Ding, I’d like a cup of plain boiled water, hehehe, thank you, Principal Ding." Wen Ruohan cheerfully replied.
