Ding Yue was not concerned about the rumors on the internet at the mont.
The most crucial task was to find Student Zhou Xiaoyan from Mist City Arts and Science University who had gone missing.
"Officer Zhang, we can deal with the rumors later. It’s more important to find Student Zhou Xiaoyan as soon as possible," Ding Yue said in a steady tone.
Officer Zhang glanced at Ding Yue. The young university principal always knew what was urgent and important. He was quite an impressive figure.
As a police officer of the University Town branch, Officer Zhang had heard of the well-known Mist City Arts and Science University.

Xu Bin continued to review the Sky Eye Surveillance while pulling up the already found security footage for screen projection.
"After leaving our school, this is Zhou Xiaoyan’s surveillance footage heading towards the comrcial pedestrian street of University Town. After walking out from here, the two took the subway."
Xu Bin slowly switched the surveillance footage to portray Zhou Xiaoyan and a man in a black jacket taking the subway from University Town.
"They’re heading towards the city."
Officer Zhang narrowed his eyes and questioned, "Is there more surveillance footage?"
Xu Bin nodded as he switched to more retrieved surveillance footage, "Here, the two alight from the subway at Binjiang Station, followed the surveillance caras out, but then disappeared from the footage."
"I’ve found it."
Xu Bin found another video clip with a tistamp of 5:42 PM on September 30th. "Officer Zhang, these two entered this building in Jiangyuan Community and never ca out."
"It doesn’t look like a kidnapping, as Zhou Xiaoyan and the man in the black jacket seem to be happily chatting all the way. But, Zhou Xiaoyan is not from Mist City, so why would she tell her family that she was going ho for the holidays and then not return? Furthermore, she’s lost all contact through her phone and Whatsapp."
Officer Zhang quickly started to analyze the details of this missing person’s case.
"Could it be a friend she t online? And then she was tricked into a pyramid sche?" Ding Yue speculated.
Upon hearing that, Officer Zhang imdiately looked at Ding Yue and nodded, "That was my thought as well. Xiao Liu, call the branch and ask for assistance, let’s go imdiately!"
Having confird that Zhou Xiaoyan and the man in the black jacket had entered Building 4 in Jiangyuan Community and never ca out, they could almost certainly determine that Zhou Xiaoyan was in Building 4 at this mont.
"Officer Zhang, we’ll go along with you. After finding Zhou Xiaoyan, we can take her back to school right away and wait for her parents," Ding Yue said earnestly.
Officer Zhang thought for a mont. Considering the difficulty of searching in the building and the inadequate manpower sent from the branch for by just missing person, he agreed. "Fine, Principal Ding, take so of our university security staff with you to assist in searching Building 4 in Jiangyuan Community."
"Okay!"
Ding Yue nodded and turned to Wen Ruohan, "Tell the security team to gather at the school gate."
Wen Ruohan imdiately took out his phone and inford the security team.

It was the first ti Officer Zhang had so quickly locked down a missing person’s location. Knowing that Zhou Xiaoyan from Mist City Arts and Science University was in Building 4 in Jiangyuan Community, they set off imdiately to rescue her.
Ding Yue took Huang and Bin. He asked them to start their cars and et him at the school gate.
Ding Yue decided to leave Director Qi Chunsheng behind due to his age. Liu Qianxing, the Dean of the Business and Managent School, accompanied them.

The three cars followed Officer Zhang’s police car rapidly towards Jiangyuan Community in the center of Mist City.
On the way, Officer Zhang contacted the officers sent by his branch to assist him.
"Xiao Wang, there are three of you, right?"

"Good, let’s et at the entrance of Jiangyuan Community. If you arrive first, check with the property managent for the list of tenants in Building 4." Officer Zhang imdiately ordered.

The journey from University Town to Jiangyuan Community in the city took over an hour.
However, while Ding Yue and Officer Zhang were on their way to Jiangyuan Community, they received news from the branch
"Officer Zhang, the branch reported that Zhou Xiaoyan’s mother received a ssage on Whatsapp from Zhou Xiaoyan’s phone," Xiao Zhang reported to Officer Zhang.
Officer Zhang asked gravely, "What ssage?"
"First, there was a blank ssage, followed by a ssage asking for a transfer of 50,000 RMB, claiming that she had accidentally hit soone else’s car while riding a shared bike and needed to pay compensation!" Xiao Zhang replied.
"That’s obviously the criminals’ sche. If it is a pyramid sche, it’s very likely they planned to defraud with her phone when Zhou Xiaoyan refused to cooperate."
