In a large tiered classroom, many students gathered, feeling quite excited and nervous. Most of these students were female, suggesting the major might be predominantly female.
The female university students were nervous and excited, not for the sa reason.
The nervousness mainly stemd from the fact that today they were to defend their graduation thesis here. As university students, they understood how crucial the thesis defense was, resulting in their nervousness.
The excitent, on the other hand, was another matter.
The female students were excited because Principal Ding had unexpectedly arrived to observe their thesis defenses. It was said that today Principal Ding would personally attend and watch the students’ defenses.
Apart from the professors and teachers from their departnts, Principal Ding and the Director of Academic Affairs, Qi Chunsheng, were both present.
The graduation thesis defense of the Chinese departnt being held today was randomly selected by Ding Yue for his observation, following a previous observation at the dical school’s defense session.
Choosing to observe the Chinese departnt’s defense didn’t have any special reason other than the fact there were many pretty girls in the departnt, making it a visually pleasing session to attend.
"Principal Ding is here too."
"Principal Ding, did you co to watch our thesis defense?"
"Principal Ding looks so handso today."
"You lovesick fool, why are you staring at my husband?"
"You’re talking nonsense, that’s my fiancé!"
The female students beca excited upon seeing Principal Ding.
After all, with Principal Ding’s charisma and good looks, any girl who saw him might find him irresistible, right?
"Today’s thesis defense, everyone should perform well. I believe each one of you ca prepared," Ding Yue said with a smile to the female students of the Chinese departnt.
"Okay!"
The students answered in unison.
Seeing the students so confident, Ding Yue felt reassured.
Any serious student from Mist City Arts and Science University would tackle a significant event like the graduation thesis with laser focus, unlike students from so universities who didn’t take their thesis seriously, leading to unsuccessful graduations.
"Principal Ding, please take a seat here."
The head of the Chinese departnt invited Principal Ding to sit next to them, in a position that was reserved for the professors primarily responsible for overseeing the defenses. This was instructed by Ding Yue himself, as it wouldn’t be appropriate for him to take the central spotlight during the observations.
"Okay."
After sitting down, Ding Yue looked at the head of the Chinese departnt and smiled before saying, "Let’s get started then."
"Yes, Principal Ding."
The head of the Chinese departnt nodded and then announced, "Well then, students, today’s graduation thesis defense for our Chinese departnt begins now. Please co forward to present your defenses as your nas are called from the list."
Following the announcent, the students got ready.
Then, the Chinese departnt’s professors began the session based on the na list.
Ding Yue quietly watched, while his artificial intelligence robot, Big White, was also put to work. Ding Yue had it check for plagiarism in the theses being defended today, as Big White, being an AI robot, could perform such checks quickly and efficiently.
The first student to present was very pretty.
Ding Yue thought to himself that he had chosen the right session to observe. Instead of watching the mostly male chanical engineering students, it was much more pleasant to watch the beautiful ladies of the Chinese departnt.
The first young and vibrant female student defended her thesis confidently and fluently.
The professors of the Chinese departnt were very satisfied with this student’s defense.
After the defense concluded, the professors nodded in approval and the student’s face was filled with smiles, as if she had anticipated the outco all along.
Clearly, this female student had successfully passed her thesis defense.
"Congratulations, you have successfully passed your thesis defense," a professor formally and seriously announced to the student.
When the student heard the result, she beca even happier.
Ding Yue had Big White check this female student’s thesis for plagiarism, and found the thesis was completely clear of any issues.
The Chinese departnt’s thesis defense started off smoothly, and every subsequent female student showed her unique characteristics. Each carried out their defense fluidly, evidently well-prepared for their mont.
The head and professors of the Chinese departnt, seeing almost no student faltering, were very pleased.
After all, Principal Ding was watching. If any Chinese departnt student had faltered during the defense, it would have been embarrassing and could have negatively impacted the departnt’s impression in Principal Ding’s mind.
