After all, his previous impression of AlphaGo was that it was just an artificial intelligence program without a physical body, and he didn’t expect Google to have given AlphaGo a robot body.
Now, AlphaGo had beco an artificial intelligence robot, just like his own Big White.
Don’t ntion it, just like Huang said, could Google’s AlphaGo robot really be imitating his own artificial intelligence robot, Big White?
"What does AlphaGo’s robot body look like?"
Asking this, Ding Yue picked up his phone, ready to open Twitter and check it out.
By this ti, Huang had already opened the picture of AlphaGo and handed it to Ding Yue, saying, "Look, Yue, this is what it looks like. It’s really ugly."
"Uh!"
Ding Yue took a close look and, my goodness, the robot in the picture didn’t look cute or handso at all. It was just weird—let’s put it bluntly, in the looks departnt, it just couldn’t compete with Big White.
At first, Ding Yue thought that Google’s AlphaGo artificial intelligence robot might copy his own Big White, but it looked like he worried too much. Google wouldn’t be so foolish as to commit such an infringent.
They had rely given AlphaGo a robot body just like his own artificial intelligence robot, Big White.
"It’s indeed ugly, haha, does Google not have any designers?"
Ding Yue couldn’t help but laugh.
The AlphaGo robot body really did look sowhat unpleasant.
Of course, it might be due to cultural differences between the East and West. Ding Yue, Huang Youjie, and Xu Bin all found it ugly, but what if Westerners found it attractive?
"Yue, look, there’s another piece of news."
Xu Bin picked up his phone and handed it to Ding Yue, saying, "On Twitter, Google has stated that they have reached so kind of collaboration with Disney about artificial intelligence robot AlphaGo. It’s obvious, right? They’re trying to follow in our footsteps, creating animated and film IP for AlphaGo or sothing."
"Bin, did you use a VPN for this?"
Ding Yue saw Twitter on Xu Bin’s phone and couldn’t help but ask with a mix of laughter and disbelief.
"Yeah."
Xu Bin nodded. "It’s my own VPN software; no big deal."
"Lend it to later." Ding Yue patted Xu Bin on the shoulder, smiling, "This collaboration between Google and Disney seems serious about developing AlphaGo’s robot IP. They’re learning pretty fast."
When Ding Yue saw the Twitter post about Google’s collaboration with Disney, especially after AlphaGo got a robot body, he knew that these two Arican companies were up to no good.
What kind of company is Disney?
Many globally renowned IPs and entertainnt franchises co from them, as well as so of the world’s busiest Disney parks. Disney’s entertainnt empire is much more powerful than Penguin Group’s Q Entertainnt dia in China.
Previously, Ding Yue’s artificial intelligence robot, Big White, had achieved significant success in both robotics and animated films. It seed that this ti Google’s collaboration with Disney was a case of monkey see, monkey do, and they were probably planning to develop artificial intelligence robot IP as well.
