Hermione looked up at Arthur expectantly.

"Then when you go deal with Voldemort... can you take with you?"

The little witch stared at him with sparkling eyes.

Arthur smiled and nodded.

He was confident that facing Voldemort—who now possessed death power—while protecting Hermione wouldn’t be a problem.

Besides, Hermione wasn’t helpless in battle.

Seeing him agree, Hermione cheered happily.

"Great! I’ll write to Dumbledore!"

She jumped out of Arthur’s arms and ran toward the house.

Arthur watched her leave and shook his head with a smile.

Even though she was technically an adult now, she still hadn’t grown any more composed.

But honestly—

That lively energy was exactly what he liked about her.

At that mont, Draco hesitated before stepping forward.

"Arthur... is there any way to bring Hydra back to life?"

Over the past few years, Draco had co to treat Hydra not as a pet—

But as a partner.

Now that Hydra had died protecting him, Draco desperately wanted to do sothing for it.

"There’s definitely a way," Arthur replied.

"But..."

Lucius imdiately spoke up.

"But what? Is the cost too high?"

"That doesn’t matter. As long as the Malfoy family can afford it, na your price."

Hydra had saved his son.

If it could be revived, Lucius would gladly pay anything.

Arthur shook his head.

"It’s not about the price."

Then he added thoughtfully:

"I’m just curious... shouldn’t you be worrying about Narcissa’s safety first?"

He hadn’t heard Lucius ntion her even once.

Had they really left her alone at ho?

"Narcissa!"

Lucius slapped his forehead.

Turning to Draco, he said quickly,

"Your mother is still visiting the Parkinson family. Stay here—I’ll bring her back."

With that, Lucius hurried out of Arthur’s house.

Arthur caught the surna imdiately.

He turned to Draco with interest.

"When did your family get close to the Parkinsons?"

"Don’t tell you’re about to get engaged to Pansy Parkinson?"

Draco looked slightly embarrassed.

"I’m not really sure..."

"But Mother once asked which girls at school I was close to."

"I casually ntioned Pansy."

"After that, she started becoming friendly with Mrs. Parkinson."

"So... it’s possible she’s considering arranging a marriage."

In truth, Draco’s relationship with Pansy was nothing special.

The only reason he had ntioned her was that she was one of the few Slytherin girls who often hung around him.

Arthur rubbed his chin.

"If your mother really has that plan, I’d suggest stopping it."

Draco frowned.

"Why? Is there sothing wrong with Pansy?"

Arthur shrugged.

"I’ve heard people describe her as sharp-tongued, arrogant, and rather unpleasant."

(That description mostly ca from audience opinions Arthur rembered from another life.)

In the original story, Pansy and Draco were even briefly engaged and had so form of relationship—

Yet they ultimately did not end up together.

Which ant Pansy probably wasn’t right for him.

Arthur added thoughtfully,

"If you’re really looking for a partner, you might consider Astoria instead."

Astoria Greengrass.

Though her family was one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, she was very different from most pure-blood elites.

She wasn’t arrogant or domineering.

Instead she was:

Gentle

Understanding

Graceful

Intelligent

She tended to be sowhat distant with strangers.

But with soone she loved, she was incredibly caring and completely devoted.

Frankly—

She was almost the perfect wife.

If Astoria had matched Arthur’s personal tastes, he might have pursued her himself.

Draco looked surprised.

"Astoria?"

"Isn’t she Daphne Greengrass’s younger sister?"

"I heard Daphne is obsessed with pure-blood superiority."

"Are you sure her sister is different?"

Arthur felt a bit speechless.

Draco talking about soone else being obsessed with pure-blood ideology was rather ironic.

After all—

Draco himself hadn’t been much better in the past.

Arthur shrugged.

"Don’t worry. Astoria is nothing like Daphne."

"Go get to know her and you’ll understand."

Draco nodded and quietly rembered the suggestion.

But finding a partner wasn’t urgent.

He wasn’t even an adult yet.

What mattered right now was saving Hydra.

"So... about the way to revive Hydra," Draco asked anxiously.

Arthur corrected him.

"It’s not exactly resurrection."

"I can transform Hydra into sothing similar to an undead creature."

"But its appearance might seem a bit... sinister to outsiders."

Arthur extended his hand, letting a swirl of death power appear.

Draco nodded without hesitation.

"As long as Hydra can live again, that’s enough."

"As for appearances, I don’t care."

"If necessary, I’ll just keep Hydra away from people."

Then Draco added firmly:

"Please transform Hydra."

"I’m willing to pay any price."

Arthur waved his hand dismissively.

"There’s no need for paynt."

"This isn’t difficult for ."

"And we’re friends. Talking about paynt would feel strange."

He walked over to Hydra’s body.

Then he placed his hand on the dragon’s corpse.

Purple-red death power flowed from Arthur’s palm into Hydra’s body.

Seeing Draco’s deep attachnt to the dragon, Arthur decided to go a step further.

Using death power, he fused Hydra’s body and soul together.

The result was a unique form—

Half spirit.

Half corpse.

This transformation drastically strengthened Hydra.

More importantly—

It allowed Hydra to shift freely between spiritual form and physical form.

Which ant one incredible advantage:

Hydra had effectively beco immune to physical damage.
