“?”“What kind of garbage ga is this.”

Su Deqiang stared at the ga on his phone screen and let out a slow question mark, then cursed in frustration.

Ever since he started playing FGO because of Fate/Zero,he’d fallen in love with mobile gas—not for anything deep, just because they were convenient.

After all, unlike a PC, you could pull out your phone anyti. On your commute, before bed, during breaks…The ability to make use of fragnted ti for entertainnt made him really like mobile gas.

So when he happened to see an ad on a web portal one day, hyping up so “one-of-a-kind” mobile ga from a “famous producer,”he hesitated for a mont, but ended up downloading it.

Mainly because after accumulating so much fragnted playti,he’d already pushed through all of FGO’s content—both the Observation Line and the main storyline—up to the latest updates.

There was no new content to play.

And with FGO aggressively promoting its new version lately—whether it was the Observation Line or the main storyline, it all looked super exciting.Sealing off the four seas, Sword Saints, plus a Christmas special event…

As a longti ANF user, he was itching with anticipation. He really wanted to play!

Wanted to play now!

But sadly, he couldn’t. He had to wait for the official release of the new version.

It was right around then that this mobile ga called Destiny’s Day popped into his view.

Sure, the ga looked like garbage—everything from the ad placents to the promo materials just scread low quality.

Even the na was obviously copying FGO’s Fate/Night.

But looking at the scantily clad babes in the ad, his youthful hormones got the better of him.

It was from a “famous producer” after all.It claid to be “one-of-a-kind.”

And they had the guts to openly admit they were mimicking FGO.With FGO as such a shining example, how bad could it be, right?

That’s what he thought—so with no new FGO content available for now, he gave it a try.

And the mont he played it, he was furious.

What the h*ll was this trash?

That boring-as-hell story, the completely bottom-tier illustrations compared to FGO,and the character designs—a compilation of every stereotype imaginable, all slapped together with lazy labels.

My god.

You really have the audacity to call this a “one-of-a-kind” mobile ga?Have you even looked at what you’re saying?

Have you seen FGO?

They’ve got animated character portraits in the story scenes! And your static card art looks like crap!

Not to ntion—FGO’s characters matter. Each one has a bond with the Master that the player controls. The story always centers around the Master.

But your ga?Where the hell did these characters even co from? They’re all just walking clichés, and on top of that, they act like they're begging you to spend money to “take them ho.”

And you think I’d pay for that?Spend money to pull these third-rate rejects?I’d rather throw my money at my favorite Heroic Spirits in FGO!

Dream on!

“Still gotta be FGO. That other ga’s just so knock-off garbage.”

Su Deqiang angrily uninstalled the crap ga, then imdiately tossed the whole thing from his mind.FGO was just better.Well—maybe not in terms of gaplay. After the initial novelty wore off, he realized the chanics weren’t that impressive. But the story, the characters—he really loved those.

“…The new version launches in one day. Wonder what the story’s gonna be this ti. What new characters we’ll get.”

As he thought about it,Su Deqiang couldn’t help getting excited. He reflexively opened the ANF website.

Ever since the revamp,he’d been liking ANF more and more. After a while, it had beco a daily habit—especially with so many new users joining.Talented people everywhere, and they were fun to chat with too.

Everywhere he looked, he found kindred spirits.

So he checked in almost every day.

This ti, he logged in to see if there were any fun new FGO-related videos.

But—

The mont he opened the site, he froze.

Why did the site banner and logo change? Was there a new event?

“Use your Command Seal to awaken my Magic Crest — Rin Tohsaka × ANF Special Event?”

He looked at the familiar gemstone necklace symbol on the hopage and clicked out of curiosity.

The event page had the classic red-and-black the.He skimd through quickly until his eyes landed on the final line:

“New version special event — mysterious guest plays the new FGO version, early sneak peek.”

“Mysterious guest? Didn’t the promo image already give it away… It’s Rin Tohsaka’s voice actress, right?”

Su Deqiang chuckled, feeling like he’d figured it out.“No wonder it’s Avalon. They really know what players want.Unlike those dumb*ss companies who can’t even write a proper character.

But I an… this mysterious guest isn’t that mysterious, is she…”

He muttered to himself.

Then suddenly—sothing didn’t add up.

Wait a second—who is Rin Tohsaka’s voice actress again?Does she even have one?

In the Observation Line of the ga, she mostly just uses sound effects and interjections. But the tone fits her character. Feels very in-character.

But actual voiced lines…? He didn’t rember any.

FGO was huge in the second-dinsion community. Most of the characters’ voice actors had been figured out by now—So were officially listed, and the rest, seasoned fans could recognize.

But Rin Tohsaka, with only a few interjections…

Su Deqiang thought for a while but ca up empty. He shook his head and chuckled. “As long as it doesn’t ruin her image, I’m good.”

Then he closed the page.

He was a little curious, but his main excitent was for the new story. As for the voice actress—he was just mildly interested.

Soon, he pushed the whole thing from his mind, figuring he’d find out at 8 PM that night.

But—

As he kept browsing the site, he realized he had underestimated just how seriously ANF was taking this event.

…There were even ads under so videos.

That piqued his curiosity even more.Who was this voice actress? Why was ANF putting so much effort into promoting this?

He checked his followed creators’ posts and skimd the forums—Turned out, lots of people were wondering the sa thing.

Everyone was talking about Rin Tohsaka’s voice actress.

ANF’s heavy promotion had made almost all players curious.

Originally, people were still talking about that second-dinsion ga Destiny’s Day,but now, thanks to ANF’s full-scale marketing of this mysterious guest, nobody cared anymore.

“She’s gotta be super pretty, right? Why else would they hype her up this much?”

“Haha, no matter how pretty, she’s still no match for a 2D waifu.”

“True, but I’m still curious.”

“Curious? You an horny!”

“We’ll find out tonight.”

“……”

Most players’ focus seed slightly off.

But that was fine.

The goal had been achieved.

The players were interested.

Su Deqiang was interested too.He found himself genuinely curious about the person behind Rin Tohsaka’s voice. He made a ntal note to tune in that night.

And with that little distraction—he completely forgot about that second-dinsion knockoff ga.Didn’t even feel like complaining about it anymore.

That mobile ga, Destiny’s Day, despite its massive ad push, hadn’t made the slightest splash in the core second-dinsion community…

Soon, it was 8 PM.

Su Deqiang had just finished dinner and was getting ready to browse ANF.

And the mont he opened the site—he saw another brand-new banner on the hopage.

Rembering what happened at noon,he clicked in.

Sure enough,

The video was live. Scroll down a bit and there it was.

“So who’s the voice actress…”

Su Deqiang muttered as he clicked play.

Then, the mont the video started—his words caught in his throat.

Because on screen—there wasn’t a real person.

It was the familiar Magus Workshop.

Familiar because—in the Observation Line Fate/stay night, the scene where Rin Tohsaka summons Red A for the first ti took place right there.

It was one of the most iconic scenes for FGO players. The mont where Rin summoned Red A in-ga had been presented with peak-level Live2D animation.

For many players, that was the first ti they realized 2D characters could look and feel that good.

But… no way, right? They weren’t actually using that background to reveal the voice actress? Were they going for that kind of ironic twist?

So kind of budget club promotional stunt?

Su Deqiang couldn’t help but laugh, thinking of those fake-looking background videos.

But just as he cracked a grin—

In the bottom right corner of the video,

a head suddenly popped up.

But it wasn’t a real person…

Then, Rin Tohsaka appeared fully—standing in a cluttered Magus Workshop filled with magical tools and props.

She looked straight into the cara—or rather, straight at the players behind the screen.

Her model was incredibly detailed. Her eyes sparkled, her twin-tails swayed gently, and she looked slightly frustrated as she said:

“…Eh? Did it ss up again? Teleportation malfunction? Where did I end up? Where’s the audience?”

Her voice was clear and full of energy.Even while flustered, she carried a faint trace of pride.

“?”

Su Deqiang stared at the vivid 2D character on screen and slowly dropped another question mark.

Not a voice actress?

The mysterious guest… was Rin Tohsaka herself?

A live Rin Tohsaka???

Holy sh*t?

A ga character?

You can do that now!?
