Under Syd's watchful gaze, this newly obtained divine trait of God continued to level up rapidly.
Soon, a notification sounded.

As Self-Existence advanced to Level 2, Syd, who had been closely monitoring himself, imdiately noticed a difference.
Faintly, he could feel his body connected to countless things—an overwhelming sensation of interconnectedness spread through him.
These connections, like a vast spiderweb, seed to entangle him.
"What is this?"
Syd's eyes showed confusion.
He carefully channeled his power to sense more clearly.
Using the might of his abstract conceptual body, he faintly realized that these countless invisible connections were sohow tied to the laws of the universe.
A mont later, so clarity dawned on him.
Although his divine body had been heavily modified and enhanced, its essence was still ford from the matter of Earth, aning it naturally had ties to all things—to the universe itself.
Now, with Self-Existence reaching Level 2, the endless web of connections binding him to all things had significantly thinned out—so links had even completely snapped.
However, because there had been so many, the change wasn't yet dramatic.
"Level 2 isn't enough, huh?"
Syd instantly grasped the situation.
He then relaxed, smiling to himself.
"Luckily, this God-tier perpetual motion machine called Self-Existence is extrely powerful. The leveling speed is insane—I won't have to wait long at all."
With that thought, he quietly waited.

About half an hour later, another familiar notification echoed in his mind.
[Ability: Self-Existence (0/1000) Level 3]
As Self-Existence reached Level 3, Syd's abstract conceptual senses picked up dramatic changes.
The countless threads binding him were severed in an instant!
His perception of the surrounding world suddenly beca far clearer and more expansive.
However, Syd's brow furrowed slightly as he carefully sensed his surroundings.
While the dense network of connections had vanished, a few imnsely powerful and stubborn links still remained—now clearly visible to his perception.
Among them, Syd sensed his ties to the Phoenix Force, to the universe itself, and to Ti.
These few remaining connections were incredibly resilient.
Even the divine trait of Self-Existence, at Level 3, hadn't broken them.
Syd frowned again but didn't dwell too much on it.
After all, Level 5 was supposed to be when the ability reached full perfection.
It was normal for Level 1–3 to still struggle against such massive cosmic forces.
Compared to beings like the Phoenix Force, his Level 3 ability was still far too weak.
As he waited patiently—
Nearly another hour passed.

Upon reaching Level 4, those stubborn links weakened significantly—so much that without careful observation, they were almost invisible.
Seeing this, Syd was sowhat surprised.
"Even Level 4 can't completely sever them?"
"It'll have to be Level 5 then!"
He wondered:
What kind of transformation would occur once Self-Existence reached its maximum?
With a sense of eager anticipation, Syd kept his eyes on the panel.
Ti continued to slip by.
About two more hours later, the progress was approaching its final breakthrough.

With the final notification, the data on the panel changed.

In an instant—sothing extraordinary happened!
Mysterious fluctuations surged through Syd's body.
Those lingering, stubborn connections snapped completely.
In that mont, Syd felt an incredible shift:
His body, his soul, his mind—every part of him—was no longer linked to anything.
He was no longer the product of any biological or material origin.
His existence was tied to nothing but himself.
He existed solely because he willed himself to exist.
And if he no longer wished to exist—he had the faint sense that he would simply vanish into absolute nothingness.
This feeling was indescribable—impossible to put into words.
"If I decided not to exist anymore... what would happen?"
The thought flashed through Syd's mind, and he was montarily curious.
However, after sensing the nature of his new ability carefully, he wisely abandoned that suicidal idea.
Instinctively, he could tell that if he truly willed himself to cease existing, he would completely disappear—not even leaving behind a void—true annihilation.
It was terrifying.
Syd dared not experint lightly.
He couldn't even be sure he could return afterward.
If he couldn't—that would be the ultimate, irreversible death.
Of course, it was possible he could return...
Aside from that, Syd realized Self-Existence wasn't as simple as it appeared.
After reaching Level 5, although on the surface nothing seed to change, the reality was drastically different.
Following a subtle intuition, Syd raised his right hand.
A golden Infinity Gauntlet appeared, fitted securely onto his arm.
The next second, the Ti Stone on the gauntlet lit up with a green glow.
Instantly, the power of the Ti Stone enveloped him.
Syd tried to slow down the flow of ti around him.
But then—
Sothing unexpected happened.
The Ti Stone's power brushed past him—without causing any effect at all.
Recalling the severed connection to Ti he had sensed earlier, Syd muttered:
"So it's true..."
Self-Existence might have appeared unremarkable outwardly—but internally, the changes were massive beyond imagination!
Now, he was no longer affected by the flow of ti!
To put it more vividly:
Any influence of ti had absolutely no effect on him anymore.
Syd even suspected that if soone tried to travel back to the past to assassinate his younger self—it would fail completely.
In simple terms, he had transcended the tiline!
Syd's golden eyes glead brightly.
This was an extrely crucial power.
At his current level, the beings he had to face were all terrifying entities.
Take the Phoenix Force, for example—
On the surface, it only seed capable of destruction.
But in truth, it could also resurrect, reverse causality, alter tilines, rewrite history, or even annihilate historical existence altogether.
Syd wasn't sure whether the fragnt of the Phoenix Force he was dealing with could wield such abilities.
Jean Grey, while using the Phoenix Force, had only displayed destructive power, rapid healing, and occasional glimpses into the future.
The deeper, scarier abilities hadn't been shown.
