As Syd pondered, he suddenly sensed sothing.

He faintly detected several gazes observing him.

Looking up, his eyes t with the massive shadow hanging in the sky—an unspoken exchange occurred through space itself.

"Galactus and the others... have they found my location?"

He was a little surprised.

Still, he wasn't too concerned.

After all, now that he possessed the power of three universes, not even Annihilus at his peak would be a match for him.

With that thought, he temporarily dismissed the looming presences of the cosmic entities. His attention shifted back to the Dreamwalking spell.

In the next mont, he activated it.

Brilliant light flared from his body as a portion of his consciousness separated, vanishing like a streak of starlight.

The sensation was similar to Chthon's Dreamwalking spell—except this ti, there was no darkness, no threat of corruption or invasion.

His consciousness blinked and arrived in a new universe.

And imdiately, he frowned in surprise.

In this universe, his previous projection had already naturally dissipated. In other words, he no longer had a vessel to anchor to.

Fortunately, even just a fragnt of his will could access his main body's power. If needed, he could craft a new vessel on the spot.

But this ti... it wasn't necessary.

Without delay, Syd began radiating his divine Light across the universe.

In an instant, endless brilliance flooded the void. The entire universe was lit up once more, triggering shock and awe across countless worlds.

After a while, the phenonon receded. The infinite light converged into a single form—his abstract conceptual body.

Syd was about to depart again, preparing for his next Dreamwalk—

But then he sensed sothing... wrong with this universe's Earth.

His attention was instantly drawn to it, and what he saw made his eyes narrow.

...

New York City.

Wails and howls echoed through the streets. Countless grey-skinned zombies road the ruins.

"Zombies?"

Syd raised a brow.

A mont later, his body dissolved into pure light and vanished from the sky.

Then, in the blink of an eye, he appeared above a tall building in New York.

At the sa ti, red Chaos Magic shimred in his hand, overlapping with green light—the power of the Ti Stone.

In his golden eyes, the recent past began to unfold.

He quickly understood what had happened.

Hank Pym, the creator of the Pym Particles and the original Ant-Man, had ventured into the Quantum Realm in search of his wife, Janet van Dyne, the Wasp—who had been lost in that dinsion.

But what he didn't know was... Janet had been infected by a Quantum Zombie Virus.

When Hank reached her, he embraced her without hesitation—and was bitten.

Both returned to the real world as zombies.

From that point, the virus spread rapidly. In just a few days, New York was overrun.

The vision continued to play.

The Avengers fell.

Tony Stark, Captain Arica, even the Scarlet Witch—all infected.

And the worst part?

Even though they had beco zombies, they had not lost their powers—or even all of their intelligence.

They could still fight. Still wield armor and magic.

Only a handful of heroes and civilians managed to survive.

As Syd reviewed the tiline, a roar echoed across the city.

On a nearby rooftop, a zombie leaped toward him.

"Look out!"

A voice rang from the distance.

A red-suited figure swung through the air, shouting in warning.

Peter Parker—Spider-Man—desperately tried to reach him.

But he was too far.

All he could do was hope this glowing being noticed in ti and evaded the zombie attack.

If that being gets infected... what kind of nightmare would that be?

A mont later—

Before the zombie even ca close, it was vaporized in a flash of light.

Gone without a trace.

Syd turned his gaze toward Spider-Man, finally acknowledging him.

The zombies? Not even worth a glance.

Peter landed nearby, still shaken.

"Oh my god... you're amazing!"

In the blink of an eye, that thing had just vanished!

But—

More howls erupted nearby.

Drawn by the noise, a swarm of zombies approached.

"We've got to go! Now!" Peter waved anxiously. "There's too many of them!"

Syd looked at him.

And in the next second—Peter froze.

A blinding white light swept across the streets.

In the span of a breath, all nearby zombies vaporized into nothingness. Silence returned to the ruined city.

Peter stared, jaw slack.

"You... you..."

He could barely form words.

Syd ignored him and scanned the planet once more, his expression darkening.

He knew a fair bit about zombie viruses.

And this wasn't the only universe plagued by such outbreaks.

In Earth-2149, tensions between humans and mutants had reached their peak. In a desperate move to empower mutants, Magneto had retrieved a virus from another dinsion—one supposedly harmless to mutants.

But upon arrival in that dinsion... the virus mutated.

Not only did it infect humans—it infected mutants too.

The outbreak was catastrophic.

Even Hulk, Wolverine, and Jean Grey, wielding the Phoenix Force, were infected.

Even the corporeal form of Galactus beca a zombie.

"Ridiculous... totally broken," Syd muttered.

His gaze drifted over the decaying Earth.

At the rate the virus was spreading, if Spider-Man and the remaining survivors couldn't stop it—it would soon consu the entire universe.

"If this universe turns into a zombie realm... and I've beco part of it..."

"Would I... be affected too?"

He was curious.
