"Please continue where you left off, Lord Bellator." Alaric motioned to him, before sipping his coffee.

Bellator nodded. "… The process of purifying mana has three phases. The first one is…"

Mathilda looked at the guest list with a sigh. She had once ntioned her past to Alaric, and she also considered asking for his help.

Before she was sold off to Astania as a slave, she was a young lady of a rchant family. Her household was even close to being granted the title of nobility, but unfortunately, that day didn't co.

Her entire family was annihilated. The culprit was a competitor in business, one with a more formidable background.

She had once thought that revenge was impossible, but eting Alaric gave her hope.

She used every ans necessary to get his favor and she even offered him her body. However, Alaric had a sudden change of heart. He no longer touched her and he even intentionally avoided her advances.

I tried to forget it, but I…

Mathilda's eyes flashed with hatred.

A few days ago, she encountered the very person responsible for her family's massacre. He was now living an affluent lifestyle and he had even gained the title of nobility after the recent battle against the heretic cult.

With her current situation, her only hope for revenge was to ask for Alaric's help.

Will His Highness help soone as lowly as ? With a heavy heart, she walked along the empty corridor.

The next day, a group of dical practitioners visited Alaric to examine his condition.

The doctors were inspected before they were allowed to enter his quarters.

"Your Highness, have you been feeling well lately?" The leading doctor, an old man by the na of Lee Junsik, asked with an amicable smile.

Alaric was already familiar with the doctors especially this old gentleman. With a light chuckle, he nodded his head. "I followed your prescription and it truly worked wonders! I think I am close to full recovery."

Truthfully, he had long since recovered to his peak state.

He didn't expect his Supre Regeneration to be so amazing. In just a few weeks since he had regained consciousness, he had already repaired his damaged energy core.

The dicine and spiritual treasures he received from Yskaela also helped him a great deal in his recovery.

The old doctor nodded, happily engaging in a little conversation with him, while his assistants proceeded with the body examination.

Using so dical tools, they extracted Alaric's blood samples. They also asked for his mana samples.

In less than an hour, the doctors finally completed the examination.

"Your Highness, we will observe your samples in our laboratory. We will send you the results tomorrow." The old doctor, Lee Junsik, said with a bow.

Hearing this, Alaric nodded. "Alright."

"If there's nothing else, we will take our leave. There is no need for Your Highness to see us off." Lee Junsik and his assistants bowed before they left.

After they left, Alaric closed his eyes and inspected his energy core using his spiritual perception.

The cracks on the surface of his energy core had already nded and the repaired parts seed to be more durable than they were before.

I should be able to resu my daily training now. Alaric opened his eyes.

I can't neglect my training. I need to grow as strong as I can before we head to the Cangnan Continent. After having learned the vastness of the world from Bellator, Alaric realized his own shortcomings.

He might be a renowned prodigy in the surrounding nations, but in the vast three major continents, there were plenty of young geniuses who were more impressive than himself.

Thinking about this, Alaric changed into his training clothes and headed to the training ground.

On his way there, he encountered Hershey and the other ladies.

"Are you heading to the training ground?" Hershey looked at him in surprise.

They weren't aware of his recovery so they were surprised to see him in his training gear.

Alaric smiled and nodded. "That's right."

"I think it's about ti for to resu my daily physical training. The doctors ntioned that my body is already in good condition." He added to ease their worries.

The ladies looked relieved upon hearing this.

"You just recovered. There might still be so hidden injuries so you shouldn't overdo it." Yvanna reminded him, her beautiful face filled with concern.

"Don't worry. I know my limits." Alaric responded with a chuckle.

He chatted with them about other matters and just as he was about to leave, Hershey opened up another topic.

"By the way, I noticed that sothing is off about Mathilda recently…"

When she ntioned this, Yvanna stared at him with suspicion, while Elena scrunched her eyebrows deep in thought.

Alaric was taken aback. He was focused on preparing for his wedding so he didn't notice anything amiss with Mathilda.

"Did you perhaps…" Yvanna's words trailed off, but everyone understood what she implied.

To her accusatory gaze, Alaric imdiately denied it with a shake of his head. "You guys know what I have been busy with these days. I barely even have ti to rest."

"I will keep an eye on her. Just focus on your recovery." Hershey didn't want to add to his troubles so she decided to investigate this on her own.

"Alright. If there is anything I can help with, just let know."

"I'm off to the training ground." Alaric waved them goodbye and left the mansion.

As soon as he left, Yvanna furrowed her eyebrows. "Why would you concern yourself over that woman?"

She still held so displeasure toward Mathilda for seducing Alaric.

Hershey smiled faintly and replied. "Don't be like that, Yvanna. Although she is only a servant of the household, Mathilda could still be considered as his woman. If she is facing any difficulties, it is our responsibility to help her."

Looking at the benevolent young lady, Yvanna could only sigh while shaking her head. "You are truly the kindest girl I know."

"Fine. I will help you with this." She reluctantly offered.

"Thank you…"
